Although the rest seed to be relieved, Liam still looked doubtful,
"Are you sure she will not forget anyone of us, she will not forget ?"
The man’s confident voice got less and less confident as he spoke.
Ryan sighed, he knew it, Liam was going to doubt his words.
He patted his shoulders assuring the man until he finally accepted.
Ryan told them that Jane was going to be wheeled to a normal ward in minutes so they can spend ti with her.
His head was aching rcilessly because for him, this is the most difficult surgery he ever had to perform, operating on his sister.
On one side his emotions as her elder brother were flooded and on the other hand, he had to try acting professional to avoid making a mistake.
The man sighed as he headed to his office. He knew nobody noticed his tiredness therefore he wanted a place he could maybe catch so sleep. He was so damn tired.
He did not realize that soone was following him until he got into the office.
"Chloe?"
He asked confusedly as he looked at the girl standing before him.
"H..hi there Ryan.. I just realized you were fatigued but because everyone’s focus is on Jane, no one noticed."
Ryan sighed as he headed for the coach and Chloe followed him there.
He sat down and as he was about to take so pain killers, a hand stopped him and he followed the hand only to see Chloe shaking her head.
"Painkillers won’t make you feel better Ryan, our parents taught us so massage we have always known, if you don’t mind, let help you relieve your headache."
She smiled and Ryan nodded his head to her words and without warming, his face was imdiately put on her lap startling him.
He has never been close to any woman so whatever Chloe was doing was new to him.
The guy was suddenly feeling his cheeks getting tinted with blush but Chloe was so busy with her work that she did not realize.
Her cold hands slowly massaged his head in a steady and comfortable manner that the blushing man started feeling sleepy.
Within minutes, Ryan was fast asleep and Chloe only realized it when she felt his steady breathing.
She smiled gently as she made sure he was perfectly positioned before finally closing her eyes too, Ryan’s head still on her lap.
Chloe and Ryan did not know that this is how Jane and Liam’s story began, with just a simple head massage.
Both of them did not know that this is how their love story was going to start and that they will co up with useless reasons in the future just to see each other.
Jane was wheeled to a VVIP ward, her complexion still pale but compared to earlier, she was better.
Liam turned around to the elders, Jordan and Rose before speaking to them.
"You can all go, go take a rest, I will stay with her."
They were about to protest when Liam pleaded them, "Please, let ask for her forgiveness, if I wouldn’t have let that girl go then this won’t have happ.."
He did not finish when Mother Lu cut him off, "Wait son, you know who the culprit is?"
The woman was breathing fire as she spoke.
Liam nodded his head weakly.
"Yes auntie.. Nancy Wang but she is already dead, all that is left to go after is The entire Wang family."
Father Lu was equally angry but he tried calming down and finally speaking,
"It is now important for us to deal with our enemies as fast as possible, I don’t want us to rush to the hospital because of this again. Let us protect each other. A Xi just offended us. You cannot tell that that girl beca violent all of a sudden. The drink must have had sothing in it and it back fired. Let us take care of each other always."
Mother Yang nodded in seriousness.
"It will be wise not to tell the elders now about Jane’s situation, they are old and they can’t sustain shocking news lest one of them gets into a hospital bed."
She turned to her husband and Father Lu, "You and You, you are going to temporarily take over the companies until the kids get stable and once the elders question, leave that to us won."
The n imdiately nodded and after talking for a while they decided to strictly keep this information away from the dia.
The place where the accident occurred was already cleared and footages deleted, thanks to Mary.
Mother Yang and Mother Lu were both searching for their children, Chloe and Ryan.
They decided to check Ryan’s office before leaving and what they saw shocked the two won to the core.
Mother Lu couldn’t hold her excitent and patted Mother Yang endlessly.
"Alia! Our children! Look at them. My son has never been close to any girl before, he always kept a distance from them but look at him now! Sleeping on your daughter’s lap! Her hand in his hair!"
Mother Yang was more than excited infact.
Seeing her daughter opening up to n, and not just any n but a Lu, a man she is sure is perfect for her daughter.
Seems like the Lu family is a big blessing to her. First it was Jane, then Rose and now Ryan!
She smiled widely as she thought of the elder’s reactions. The relationship between Jordan and Rose was going to be a perfect distraction.
