Liam and Mary arrived where the culprit was.
She was put in Mary’s layout or rather Mary’s base.
In the furthest room of the building, which has always been ant for those who don’t get to see the light was where the girl was kept.
Liam was so very angry that he stord into the place, only to find the culprit still unconscious.
Imdiately he saw her face, he felt a great sense of guilt and that everything that happened to Jane was his fault.
"Nancy Wang.."
He muttered, his eyes burning with anger and his knuckles almost turning white.
He turned to Mary, who nodded and a guard ca and poured a backet of cold water on her face, waking her up instantly.
"Aah! What the... Where am I? How did I get here?"
The girl seed confused because the last ti she rembered, she was in her hotel room sipping wine and enjoying her victory.
Her vision got clearer and she saw before her, Liam Yang but his focus was on the tablet before him. He seed to be watching sothing and with each passing second, his face beca worse than it was and his aura super frightening.
"Liam! Help ! They tied , they want to... Aaargh!"
She did not finish what she was saying when a strong kick landed on her stomach, making her shout in pain.
"Liam my love I..."
Another kick landed on her face, sending her sideways as her mouth started bleeding.
"Shut up bitch!"
Mary silenced her with that kick but when she was about to say a word, two hard slaps landed on both sides of her cheeks.
"You dare my woman psycho! I Will make sure you regret your choice Nancy F**king Wang!"
Liam’s voice roared, making the girl flinch but she suddenly stopped and laughed,
"Haha I know that bitch will die, I knew it I knew..
hiss!"
Her words irked Liam that the man shot the exact places she ordered her n to shoot her.
Liam’s was losing his control but he did not want to touch the woman at all even though he wanted her to die in his hands, by hook and crook.
Mary seed to notice his discomfort and clapped her hands, making two n co forward with a syringe and a small bottle with so colourless liquid.
She waved the bottle before him,
"You see, whatever is inside can help you big ti. This poison is so deadly and dangerous. Whoever ends up with this poison in their blood stream has less than 3 hours to death."
Her explanation made Liam snatch the poison before her and made the syringe ready, the poison patiently waiting for it’s victim.
On hearing Mary’s words, Nancy started shaking her head fearfully and in a complete panic mode.
"You cannot do this to , you bitch, you cannot do this!"
She started shouting when Mary ca forward with the syringe. Nancy tried resisting but she was given a hard slap and the syringe plunged in in a forced manner.
Nancy scread her all but before she could say a word, two consecutive bullets were fired by Liam, one on her knees and the other one directly on her elbow, making the girl scream in pain.
Her pain reminded him of how Jane was struggling for her life right now because he let go Nancy back then.
The man was felt guilty that he fired two more bullets unknowingly AMD her screams did not even bring the man to reality.
"My Jane.."
He sighed, his eyes shedding so tears and he turned around and started Leaving the place. Mary patted him and told him she will handle the rest.
She understood the man was too weak right now, no matter how much he pretended to be strong.
Liam looked at his watch and realized two hours were already over since the surgery started.
He directly drove to the hospital only to et Chloe who forced him to take a shower and change his bloody clothes.
He did as instructed because he did not want his woman to wake up and refuse to hug him because he slled.
Six hours ca to a final stop and the red lights turned off, the doctors in charge coming out.
Mother Lu and Liam were the first one’s rush towards Ryan.
The man was so tired that it was written on his face clearly.
"Mom, Liam, everyone, relax."
His words made thenm stop talking as they eagerly stared at him for answers.
"Despite all she went through, our girl has always been strong. First it turns out she is a migraine patient and second she lost a lot of blood but we managed to compensate for her lost blood."
"Second, she has a very strong will power because the girl was able to survive the brain surgery but one thing is 100% sure. She will not suffer from mory loss. She will be able to rember you all perfectly, according to how I have analyzed her. She got badly injured but her body is staying strong in such a situation."
Ryan’s words made them all release sighs of relief they did not know they were holding.
"She is supposed to be in a comma but her body is reacting positively and therefore in I think the next two days she will wake up."
