Chapter 2385: Chapter 2375: Auspicious Signs

Long Yan respectfully bowed to the two individuals. If before his heart had been unsettled with worry, now he could finally set it at ease. Having resolved the matter with Xueyao and being acquainted with Elder Tiancheng, it seed Lu Wujue had no reason to trouble him anymore.

In reality, Long Yan had thought too much. Lu Wujue never intended to make things difficult for him; it was just his own overthinking.

“The younger generation is truly formidable! Old Lu, look at that—these juniors are far surpassing you and by quite a margin. Things that we couldn’t accomplish, the young ones resolve with ease.”

Lu Wujue could only nod in agreent. He had no choice but to admit it.

“Actually, this junior rely relied on so tricks.”

Even with Long Yan’s thick skin, he couldn’t help but feel slightly embarrassed. Had he not acted, perhaps Lu Wujue could have solved the issue with Xueyao himself, though the outco might not have been as seamless.

No one would have expected that the two elders simply smiled and looked at Long Yan, taking his words as modesty. Long Yan didn’t bother correcting them and expressed his idea of finding a ho for Xueyao, albeit in a roundabout way.

Even though Long Yan phrased it with sufficient subtlety, he speculated internally that Lu Wujue wouldn’t agree. After all, with prior experience, who knew if Xueyao might go into a frenzy soday and destroy Lu Wujue’s mountain gate.

Unexpectedly, Lu Wujue agreed outright without even the slightest hesitation. Seeing Long Yan’s puzzled expression, Elder Tiancheng rely chuckled. Such practices were a matter of tradition established by the older generation, sothing Long Yan wasn’t aware of.

The origins dated back to the Ancient Tis when many God-Beasts bestowed their legacies upon humans, helping the Human Clan in tis of crisis—a true act of delivering warmth amidst snow. Coupled with the phenonon of the God-Beasts’ appearances being accompanied by Heavenly Phenona, many began to regard them as symbols of good fortune. However, this notion had mostly faded in modern mory as the Human Clan’s strength grew weaker, while their arrogance inflated.

Only sects like the Tianshan Sect and Shu Mountain, which preserved the Ancient Inheritance, continued adhering to such traditions. In contrast, most contemporary sects had already forgotten this portion of their history. This was also why Lu Wujue hesitated to kill Xueyao earlier—it represented a debt of gratitude owed by the Human Clan.

“Let it stay peacefully in the Back Mountain. I’ll instruct the disciples not to disturb it. Of course, if outsiders cause issues, I will personally intervene.”

Lu Wujue let out a hearty laugh, his entire figure soaring like a Dapeng, disappearing within monts as though he’d never been there. Elder Tiancheng offered a gentle smile, gave Long Yan an encouraging word for the trial ahead, and turned to leave without further elaboration.

“I’ve already discussed this with the seniors of the Tianshan Sect. From now on, you can reside in this Back Mountain undisturbed.”

Upon returning, Long Yan explained the summary of their dialogue to Xueyao. Deep down, he understood that Lu Wujue had deliberately left him this space—not out of carelessness, for who would sneak over in the dead of night just to check out what a God-Beast was like?

Xueyao nodded gently, then slowly moved closer to Long Yan’s side. The latter had already experienced this state once and was evidently familiar with it now. If Xueyao intended to harm him, he wouldn’t have the slightest ability to fight back. Resolving to accept the mont, Long Yan simply closed his eyes.

Xueyao lightly pressed its forehead against Long Yan’s, and imdiately the surrounding layers of snow lted away under what felt like bursts of sunlight. Endless expanses of icy white ground revealed lush, erald green grass beneath in re monts. The air shimred with brilliant blue light that stread into Long Yan’s body.

This ti, Long Yan didn’t feel the intense discomfort he had experienced last ti. Instead, a refreshing coolness coursed throughout his body, so deep it seed to penetrate his very bones. His whole being now resembled a black hole, voraciously absorbing the surrounding Energy.

Lost in a dreamlike state, Long Yan failed to notice that one of the five blocks behind him lit up once more—this ti in blue.

“Your body carries other legacies that I can’t even imagine. Initially, it was rely the Martial God Array, but now other martial arts techniques are also stirring to life. It seems this fortune has truly been a completing force for you,”

Xueyao said softly to Long Yan. As for the condition of his body, even it could not discern entirely. Nonetheless, this transformation was undoubtedly a gift, as Long Yan’s cultivation base gradually climbed higher until it t a bottleneck. Surprisingly, after his recent breakthrough, Long Yan was once again facing the opportunity to advance.

Gathering blue light at Long Yan’s body, the bottleneck that had barred his progression gave way like flowing water. Long Yan’s montum surged higher and higher, leaping directly into the Mid-stage of Divine Emperor Second Level. At such an incredible speed of breakthrough, any cultivator who witnessed it would undoubtedly look at Long Yan as though he were a monster.

But Long Yan wasn’t thinking of such things. Imrsed in a sense of spiritual clarity, his entire body felt detached from worldly constraints. The Black Sun that previously radiated malice seed to retreat in fear before an unseen natural enemy. When Long Yan had previously reached Divine Emperor status, he only absorbed a sliver of power before it was suppressed by the Buddha-nature Sun.

It must be said, Lady Luck shone brightly upon Long Yan. The divine cold contained within his breakthrough served as the natural bane to rage, extinguishing his uncontrollable fury entirely.

The frost steadily crept up, as if a serpent, to occupy the third vacant solar position. But unlike the other Suns, this third one emitted waves of piercing chill.

“That Long Yan is always casually throwing things into his Sea of Consciousness,”

Seated gracefully atop the Nine Suns Cauldron, Yun Huang exuded the bearing of an empress. However, the slight pout on her lips lent her an unexpected touch of adorableness. Still, no one could be happier than Yun Huang at the sight of Long Yan’s increasing strength.

After this experience, Long Yan’s abilities seed to have undergone a substantive leap forward. Yet, the exact changes remained unclear to Xueyao and Yun Huang alike. The only certainty was that this transformation carried undeniable benefits for Long Yan.

As the blue light gradually rged into his body, Long Yan’s eyes snapped open. His golden pupils briefly flashed with a streak of blue. If his earlier deanor resembled a raging fla, now it was like an eternal glacier—the frigid aura surrounding him instinctively made others pull their clothes tighter. Even Xueyao looked at Long Yan with amazent.

Though Long Yan could feel his physique had undergone subtle changes from before, he couldn’t quite pinpoint the specifics. Activating the Martial God Array augnted his body only slightly—it wasn’t an overwhelming improvent this ti. It seed, while formidable, not every activation of the Martial God Array would yield equally significant gains.

Yet, with a re thought, Long Yan caused the nearby earth to freeze inch by inch.

“What is this?”
