Corey ran at his top speed as he dodged the attacks of the dozens of tentacles with Pala on his shoulder.
The speed be ran with in his soul was so fast to the point that even the Heavenly Executor would not be able to react to.
All he left behind were streaks of lights as he moved in a zigzag manner.
Corey suddenly ca to a screeching stop and took a light step to the side.
A tentacle slamd down where his head had been, and three strands of his hair were snipped off by the serated teeth of the tentacles.
WHOOSH!
The tentacle slamd down into a planet that was beneath Corey, and the planet shattered into pieces.
The tentacle was not larger than the planet, but the mont it got close to the planet, it was like the planet beca a re rock in front of it.
Veins could already be seen on Corey's forehead, but the mont the planet was broken into pieces, the veins throbbed and he clenched his teeth in pain.
They were in his soul, and the destruction of anything in his soul caused him great pain.
This was not the first planet the tentacles were destroying as they chased him. They had destroyed dozens of planets in his Cosmic Soul, and the pain he felt was not little in the slightest.
However, despite the pain he was feeling, he did not stop or lose his focus for even a second.
He was in his soul, and he was a lot more powerful in his soul.
He twisted his torso as a tentacle nearly ripped off a huge chunk of his stomach, then he bent backward as he dodged another tentacle.
With cold, calm, and calculating eyes, his left hand moved.
Shinnng!
Golden lines filled with lightning flashed in the air for a mont before the tentacles fell into countless pieces.
Lightning flashed across Corey's feet, then he continued moving.
A second later, a dozen tentacles appeared in his path and Corey slashed the air.
Primus released an arc of golden flaming lightning, and the tentacles screeched as they were cut and burned into pieces.
Bang!
A screech echoed from behind him, and Corey looked behind him in confusion.
He saw another dozen tentacles writhing in pain as their bodies were engulfed in flas.
He looked at Pala.
"What? I've created new runes that can allow to react to its attack now. I can help."
Whoosh!
Corey took a step to the side, and three tentacles with their flower-like mouths open, nearly tore into Pala's head.
If Corey had not taken that single step, her head and neck would have been ripped off her shoulders.
Pala's heart skipped multiple beats as she looked at the tentacles which narrowly missed her head.
She had nearly died just now, and when she saw Corey swung Primus down with a nonchalant expression, she looked at him with a blank expression.
Corey also stared back at her with slightly raised brows.
She cleared her throat.
"I guess you've got this. I'll help when I see that you're in danger."
Corey was about to respond, but he paused, then he suddenly vanished.
Over a dozen tentacles slamd into where he previously stood, and the tentacles released a furious screech.
"What the fuck is this madness? You're telling that everybody in the universe has this thing in their souls?"
Pala could not help but exclaim in disbelief as she stared at the hundreds of tentacles that were slowly approaching them and encircling them.
Corey also had the exact sa thought as Pala, and if not for their current situation which needed him to be calm and focused, he would have said a lot more.
He thought the Universal Brand was just a formation or an array the Universal System or the Supre Ancestor had placed in all of their souls.
He never expected the Universal Brand to actually be a horrifying living creature.
It was a terrifying realization which made him to instantly think of his sister.
He had no idea what this creature was, but it was not a good thing in the slightest... Especially if everybody in the universe had this thing attached to their souls.
'Was this done by the Supre Ancestor? And if yes... Why?'
Corey wished he had the ti to ponder all of his thoughts, but he didn't.
With every passing second, his soul was getting more and more damaged.
The Universal Brand was not just attacking his spiritual body, it was attacking his very soul.
If not for how unique, large, and sturdy his soul was, he would either be dead or be trembling in pain.
He shifted his gaze to the Universal Brand.
'This is far different from what I expected.'
Corey exhaled softly, then he spoke to Pala.
"We can't keep on going like this. My soul is in danger, and we're not attacking its main body."
He slowly let Pala to her feet, and Pala looked at him with slightly furrowed brows.
"What are we going to do then?"
"I'll make a path for you, then you attack it with the void rune and the cube of esoteric runes."
Pala's eyes widened, then she pointed at herself in disbelief.
"? You want to attack that?"
Then she pointed at the main body of the Universal Brand.
The Universal Brand was still a vertical dark crimson eye, but this ti around, its sclera was pure black and sticking out from the side of the eye were hundreds of tentacles with razor sharp teeth.
"Once again, you want to attack that? I can barely react to its attack."
Pala looked at Corey with wide eyes, and Corey calmly nodded.
He held her shoulder, then smoky glass particles began to form around her shoulders then her entire body.
A few seconds later, Pala looked at her hands and body in suprise and disbelief.
"Prima?"
'Yes. Future mama.'
Pala wanted to speak, but Corey's calm voice drifted into her ears.
"I'll protect you. So, go and kill that thing before it kills ."
