When the red light in gatron’s eyes finally faded, Fenric’s sense of death flared violently.
Every hair on his body stood on end, his scalp tingled, and a wave of dread swept over him.
The danger was overwhelming.
Without a second thought, Armant Haki surged across his entire body. His legs tensed, and before the Empyrean Divine Sword could even be pulled free from gatron’s chest, he leapt away. At the sa ti, his mind power erupted outward, forming a protective barrier around him.
The very next mont—
"Boom—!!"
An explosion erupted. The sound wasn’t deafening like a missile blast, but what appeared at the epicenter was not fire—it was black light.
That black light was terrifying. gatron’s massive corpse was instantly disintegrated, not even scraps of tal left behind.
A bomb capable of vaporizing a Transforr of pure tal was no ordinary weapon.
The ground caved inward, leaving behind a giant crater. Within it, nothing remained—except the Empyrean Divine Sword, standing unscathed in the center.
Truly a legendary blade.
As for Fenric—
He staggered from the blast zone, looking far more battered than before. His left arm bled heavily, the flesh festering and charred. Judging from the damage, the arm was nearly useless.
The blast had been too sudden. He hadn’t been able to fully evade and was forced to shield himself with his left arm while clutching the fire source.
That black light wasn’t just destructive—it carried an inexplicable, crushing energy that tore through defenses.
If not for the sheer strength of his Armant Haki, his arm would have been annihilated like gatron’s body.
Fenric gritted his teeth, sweat streaming down his face—not from pain, but from rage.
He had been careless.
Almost overturned in the gutter.
There was no doubt now. Only Samsaras could possess such bizarre bombs.
This kind of weapon could only exist in the Samsara Space.
The near-death experience sobered him. Lately, his rapid growth in power had made him reckless—less cautious than before.
That was a dangerous mindset for a Samsara.
If not for his death sense warning him at the last mont, he would already be a corpse.
Fenric forced himself to rember: Power allows arrogance, but never negligence.
Footsteps approached.
Fenric quickly hid within the ruins, holding his breath.
Monts later, voices echoed from the left.
"Brother Turk, where did you get that bomb? It was insane!"
"My cousin gave it to ," another voice replied smugly. "Said it ca from so magic-world dungeon. I traded him a special item for it."
"Brother Turk really spent big this ti. Don’t worry—once we get our rewards, we’ll help you grab another special item!"
"With that kind of blast, even that giant idiot gatron didn’t leave a scrap behind. Shura should be dead too, right?"
"Definitely. My cousin said this bomb is top-tier tech, completely devastating. Even Wolverine from X-n got erased by it in his dungeon copy."
"Then it’s settled. Hahaha... Can you imagine the shock when word spreads that we killed Shura? The entire Samsara space will be shaken!"
"Wait... what about the energy source?"
"Good point. Everyone, spread out and look carefully. If we find the fire source, that’ll seal the deal."
The Samsaras fanned out, combing through the ruins.
Monts later, a young man shouted excitedly, "Over here! I found it!"
The others rushed over. In his hand was a glowing cube—the fire source.
"This thing’s incredible. Survived the explosion without a scratch."
"Good. If we lost this, all our effort would’ve been for nothing."
"I heard it can turn any electronics into chanical lifeforms. Let’s test it!"
One Samsara pulled out his phone and held it near the cube. Imdiately, sparks of energy jumped from the fire source.
The phone vibrated, twisted, and transford in seconds into a snarling miniature robot.
The Samsaras’ eyes lit up with excitent.
"Amazing..."
"It’s a pity it’s not a special item. If we could smuggle this out, its value would be unimaginable."
Brother Turk, the leader, interrupted, "Enough. Did anyone find Shura’s body?"
"Brother Turk, with that kind of explosion, even he must’ve been reduced to ash."
"Don’t be careless," Huo replied, frowning. "The so-called Great God Shura is powerful. Surviving might be impossible, but we confirm nothing until we’re sure."
"Hah! Great God? He’s dead. Our Fla Team is the strongest in Samsara space now!"
Their laughter echoed.
Then one of them pointed into the crater. "Look! Over there! A sword!"
The group hurried over and froze in awe.
"It’s Shura’s sword!"
"A special item for sure!"
"In Samsara space, unclaid items of the dead beco ownerless. It’s ours!"
"A blade that withstood that bomb without a single scratch—it must be priceless!"
"Well said. Nothing chosen by Shura could be trash."
"I say we give it to Brother Turk. He spent his bomb to kill Shura—this sword balances the scales."
"I agree."
" too."
"Then it’s settled."
Brother Turk smirked. "If everyone insists, I’ll accept."
He stepped into the crater and bent to lift the Empyrean Divine Sword.
But the mont his hand closed around it, his smile froze.
There was no system prompt.
Which ant—
The sword still had a master.
In other words—Shura wasn’t dead.
"Not good—Shur—!"
Before he could finish, the Empyrean Divine Sword shuddered violently.
"Psshk!"
The blade shot forward, piercing straight through his throat.
Brother Turk’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief. Blood gurgled from his mouth as he collapsed, unwilling, lifeless.
He never even saw the one holding the other end of the sword.
