It wasn’t the Empyrean Divine Sword itself that killed Brother Turk—

It was Fenric’s telekinesis.

"Brother Turk!!"

The remaining Samsaras froze in shock at the sight.

"What just happened!?"

"Stay sharp! It’s Shura!"

"Back to back! Find him, now!"

Suddenly—

Boom!

Dark clouds rolled across the sky, thunder rumbling. Bolts of lightning flickered within the storm, writhing like dragons.

The Samsaras’ expressions changed instantly. They had all seen the battle between Shura and the Sage King. They knew full well he possessed Thor’s Hamr—an artifact that commanded the power of lightning itself.

"There! In the sky!" one of them shouted in horror.

All eyes snapped upward.

Hovering in the air not far away was a lone figure, hamr raised high, thunder dancing around him.

Fenric.

"Scatter! Run!" a Samsara scread, bolting in panic.

The others followed his lead, sprinting in all directions, terror outweighing any courage they had left. They hadn’t even survived long at B-rank, and Shura was soone who could already fight against the top one hundred players. Facing him head-on was suicide.

Midair, Fenric’s gaze was icy, his face carved in cold fury.

These Samsaras had forced him into a corner, nearly making him stumble where he should have been invincible. How could such an insult go unpunished?

With a flick of Thor’s Hamr, thunder crashed down.

Boom!

The fastest runner was obliterated in an instant, his body charred black. No one could outrun lightning.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Bolt after bolt rained down, striking the fleeing Samsaras. In re monts, five lay dead.

The last two collapsed to their knees, sobbing and begging for rcy.

"Shura! Great God Shura! Please forgive ! I’ll give you every special item I own—just spare !"

"It was Turkey’s idea! He’s already dead! Please, let live!"

Fenric’s eyes narrowed. His expression didn’t waver.

Boom! Boom!

Two more bolts answered their pleas. Silence followed.

Not one of them survived.

For caution’s sake, Fenric retrieved the Empyrean Divine Sword and drove the blade into each Samsara’s neck, severing their heads one by one. He wouldn’t risk anyone faking death and escaping.

If you dare to ambush , you’d better be ready to die for it.

Only after the executions was his fury finally quelled.

But pain surged in his left arm again, forcing his brows to knit. His hand throbbed with every heartbeat.

He needed rest.

Taking the fire source with him, Fenric decided to leave and find shelter to recover. As for the Decepticons that still lurked around? He wasn’t concerned. Even with one arm injured, he could crush them.

"Ric?!"

Just as Fenric entered the city, looking for a hospital, a surprised voice called out from behind him.

Turning, Fenric blinked in surprise.

"Mikaela..."

It was Mikaela Banes—the girl he had once shared a fleeting night with.

"I didn’t expect to see you here," Fenric greeted with a faint smile.

But Mikaela’s reaction was anything but warm. Fury burned in her eyes as she stord over, raising her hand as if to slap him.

Yet when her gaze fell on his bloodied arm, her anger faltered, replaced by worry.

"Ric... what happened? You’re hurt!"

"Yeah," Fenric admitted lightly. "I was just heading to the hospital to get it treated."

"I’ll go with you!" she blurted without hesitation.

Fenric hesitated, then nodded. "...Alright."

"My car’s parked nearby. Co on!"

Before long, Fenric found himself seated once again in Mikaela’s Ferrari.

At the hospital, Mikaela fussed over him, even paying for the best doctors. His wound was cleaned and bandaged with top-grade dicine. With enough money, even doctors treated patients like royalty.

Afterward, Mikaela brought him to her new apartnt.

"I rented this place recently," she explained as she handed him a glass of water. "You can stay here and rest for now."

Fenric accepted the drink, but her gaze lingered on him, sharp and demanding.

"Ric," she finally said, her voice low, "don’t you think you owe an explanation?"

Fenric rubbed his temple. He hated situations like this. Lying was easier.

"...The truth is, I’m a wanted man," he said gravely. "I left without saying goodbye because I didn’t want to drag you into my ss."

He expected shock. Maybe fear. Maybe she’d leave him behind for good.

Instead, Mikaela laughed softly.

"I knew it," she said, smiling faintly. "There had to be a reason you disappeared like that."

"...Huh?" Fenric blinked, dumbfounded.

Sister, are you missing the point?

Won’s hearts truly were like the sea—impossible to guess.

"Mikaela, I’m serious," Fenric warned. "If you stay with , you’ll only get hurt."

She shrugged carelessly. "I don’t care. Besides, I’ve gotten into trouble before myself. We’re a perfect match." Her tone softened, but her gaze was unwavering. "Don’t even think of leaving behind again."

Fenric sighed inwardly. His headache only grew worse.

He had only a few days left before his mission continued. Bringing a girl along would be a burden. He needed to slip away quietly at so point.

But that chance never ca.

Mikaela shadowed him day and night, even skipping school to watch over him. If he got hungry, she cooked. At night, she even handcuffed them together, hiding the key in... well, sowhere he couldn’t reach.

Fenric: "..."

In the end, he could only admit defeat.

For the next two days, Mikaela tagged along as he carried out missions. At first she scread when she saw cars transform into towering robots, but soon excitent lit her eyes. Beneath her beauty, she was a thrill-seeker at heart.

On the fifth day, Fenric finally delivered the fire source to Optimus Pri.

As for Mikaela—parting was inevitable. His mission ti was nearly over, and he couldn’t stay.

Before leaving, Fenric pressed most of the credits on his black card into her hands.
