"Did you get it!?" Lieutenant Dean questioned like a mad scientist who was on the verge of a breakthrough. While Phantom was still active on fwitch, they tried their best to ping his signal and discover where exactly he was online.

"Got it." One of the officers who was listed in the ICT departnt of Nova City’s Police said.

"Good." The Lieutenant reached for his radio communicator. "Requesting all units, all units prepare to deploy, it doesn’t matter how many of you are available. We won’t let this Vigilante escape again."

This was the missing piece he needed, the missing piece to the puzzle. Phantom was like a shadow in the darkness, hard to find until he lets you find him.

This account of his, now that it had been proven legit that it was actually created by Phantom himself, the rest was easy.

Lieutenant Dean submitted a warrant requesting for all personal information, IP address logs, account data and even device info, all concerning the Real Phantom to fwitch, and they couldn’t refuse.

Once he got it, the NCPD went straight to work.

"Lieutenant..." The officer called out to him.

"What is it? Where is the location this bastard recorded from?"

"According to the scanners and the information we obtained from fwitch... He was recording from here..."

"Huh?" The Lieutenant’s brows jerked. "What do you an here? Are you trying to tell that bastard decided to record his illegal activities here in the station?"

PING!

"Wait, I think we got sothing." Their eyes were fixed to the computer, and the location Icon changed from the Nova City’s police departnt to the other end of the city.

"Got him! He’s on the other end of the City, and moving fast!"

"Tsk, the bastard’s trying to make a break for it, let’s go." The Lieutenant picked up his coat and sidearms.

PING!

"Wait!" The location changed again. "He’s now in... City Hall?" The Lieutenant rushed back to the computer.

"City Hall? What the hell are you saying?"

The Icon imdiately changed from City Hall to Nova High, then to Coral Industries, then to Titans tech. Soon enough, more than a hundred location Icon popped up in every corner of the city.

"What is this..." The tech expert muttered under his breath. This was the first ti he ever experienced a glitch like this, but it didn’t appear as such.

"Damn it!" The Lieutenant banged the table with his hands. It wasn’t a glitch, it wasn’t an error. "He got us."

"Holy shit, he hacked into his own server and made it appear like he was recording from the entirety of Nova City himself!? Who the hell is this guy!?" The tech expert shot up to his feet. The location ping turned from several hundreds of pings — to one gigantic ping that pinged Nova City off the world map.

"So our vigilante is a world class hacker?"

"Who knows? But we’ll find out tonight."The Lieutenant sighed.

"Tonight? What do you an Lieutenant?"

"Didn’t you hear what he said? He said it all starts tonight, that ans whatever so called justice he’s planning to bring, all begins tonight. And I’ll be there to stop him. No matter what, I’ll find him."

..

[Master, I have successfully diverted the incoming signal that tried to detect your location.]

"Good job Hava, I knew you could hack into advanced security systems, but pinning my location to Nova City as a whole? Holy shit."

[Like I said master, Earth’s technology, diocre at best.]

"Whatever." He took off his mask, sat down on his bed and glanced at the ceiling. Although he said he’d bring justice to the city, he had no idea how.

"Wait." He sat up fast. "Hava, pull up the video you recorded days ago when I rescued that scientist from Coral, including the parts you edited out."

[Yes master.]

A blue translucent screen lit up from the touch panel of his watch, and the video he posted on the fan page played. He kept his eyes glued to the screen, watching every single second that played.

He refused to skip even a minor detail.

"Pause." He said.

The video paused at the mont the man took his mask off.

"Hava. Can you run his face through facial recognition? Since you can hack and grant access to alien tech I assu you can also do that?"

[You insult my capabilities by asking such questions master.]

"What? Since when did you have emotions to care about that? Well sorry, but can you do it?"

[A childish task.]

[Running facial imagery through facial recognition....]

[Cross-referencing facial imagery through all known database....]

[Facial recognition confird.]

[Na: Jackson Murphy]

[Age: 32]

[Occupation: Thief, trafficker, terrorist.]

[Alias: One handed demon of the Syndicate.]

[Affiliations: The Purple Nova Syndicate.]

[Records: Arrested for multiple cris with the notorious being, won trafficking, drug trafficking, weapons smuggling, 22 counts of murders.]

[Bail record: 10]

____________________________________

"Well, that’s quite a record, he’s been arrested for all the cris a normal human being could ever think of committing? And he’s a mber of the Purple Nova Syndicate? That explains his cybernetic arm and how he got it."

[There’s also a registered address which was buried deep in the database, recovering it was child’s play.]

"Aweso." Finally, a decent start to his path. After everything that the scientist told him, it was no brainer that the reason the Syndicate made their move on Dr Reginald was because of the Gene matter serum.

Which ant two things.

"It’s no coincidence that the Syndicate is after Dr Reginald given his history as the leader of the team that experint with Elent X. The syndicate wants the Gene matter serum, and I want to know why so I can stop them."

He squeezed his fists. "Damn it, this is all Coral’s fault, if they didn’t decide to play God none of this would be happening. Well whatever, I’ll be paying that bastard a visit tonight."

His phone buzzed.

He picked it up and went through the notifications, and of course, comnts tagged to his recent video filled his page. But that wasn’t the only thing.

His video, in less than five minutes, had a total of 100k views!

"Holy Shit... Am I really that famous?"

[That was an aweso intro Phantom!]

[Damn damn damn! You’re the best!]

[It’s good to know there’s soone who cares about the city itself, not just the money. You have my support 👍]

[Shadow Soldier has sent a rocket to your video.]

"What!?" Soone actually tipped him money?

Many others followed, and in total, he had a total of $200 to his account.

[Ding! You’ve been tipped! Converting gifts...]

[Ding! You have received 400 credits!]

"W—wait! Did it just convert into actual money!?"

He imdiately took a deep breath. "No." He wasn’t just doing this for the money, he wasn’t doing this for the fa. He had but one major cause, and he wasn’t going to stop till he achieved it.

Most of the comnts said the sa thing.

[That was aweso! When will be your next video? I’m definitely going to watch it!]

[Yeah! Will you ever choose to stream?]

Most of the comnts said the sa thing, he wasn’t sure about streaming, but one thing was for sure after he paid the one handed demon of the syndicate a visit.

He fwitched.

[New video dropping tonight.]
