Chapter 45: Plans

Desther arrived earlier than usual inside his room.

Looking around, the room was neatly arranged. He does not have that many things to begin with.

In one corner was his basic computer set, enough to play so gas while he was bored. His cookware was adjacent to it, while beside them was his bed. Right beside the door was his workout kit—mostly weights he used, since his body weight now felt super light to him.

Since his attributes had increased compared to before, he would probably need to add more weights soon to feel the intensity of the training.

Looking around his room, Desther had definitely transford it into sothing within his aesthetic during the past few years that he had lived here.

It was a pity that the governnt would soon take it back from him, though.

After all, this housing was only temporary, and since he was now an able Awakened Professional, it was only natural that he stopped living with the governnt’s subsidy ant for unawakened humans.

And in regards to that, Desther knew that he must prepare in advance.

Taking out his phone, he turned to his banking application and saw that he currently only has a total of 59, including the 3 Awakened Credits he earned from the goblin ears.

Considering rent prices nowadays, he should be able to find a decent apartnt for 50 Awakened Credits. If he does that, he would only be left with 9 Awakened Credits, not even enough for him to last a week.

Hence, Desther decided that he has to earn so money before the Professional Badge arrives.

Since there was no ti to waste, Desther planned to go out and earn so.

And nowadays, for Awakened Professionals like him, the easiest way to earn money was obviously to kill monsters or go inside a dungeon to explore.

With that being said, Desther turned his computer on as he searched for any suitable dungeon nearby.

Most dungeons inside a city were usually already regulated.

For those kinds of dungeons, unless the owner wills it, it would be very hard for any random guy to enter inside to go explore since most regulated dungeon owners already have their own set of n that could harvest what was inside the dungeon.

In most cases where dungeon owners allow others to enter, it would usually require a fee or so other requirents as well.

Not only would one need to pay a fine, but it would also an that your every action would be monitored. Which obviously does not sit right with Desther’s way of doing things.

Hence, the dungeon he was searching for would be an ownerless one and one that was not frequented by a lot of people.

And such dungeons only exist outside of the city.

Fortunately, information regarding regular dungeons like this was always available online. One needs to verify it thoroughly before believing it, though. There were cases before that soone posted a dungeon location online only for it to turn out to be a scam.

Desther would obviously not fall to such tricks.

Opening his social dia application, Desther inputted so keywords in the search bar and imdiately found so results.

Radiant Dawn College was the only college in Radiant Shelter.

Radiant Shelter, on the other hand, was a small-sized shelter that has a population of over one hundred thousand people.

During the descent, crowded places like gacities beca a living hell for most people.

There, dungeons easily descend, and crowded places easily beco the monsters’ nest.

Due to that, guided by the governnt, most people went to the mountain ranges to establish shelter to create a safe fortress for everyone to call ho.

Located in the depths of Sierra Madre, Philippines, Radiant Shelter has beco a fortress just like other shelters present out there.

When Desther inputted his location as well as the keyword ’new dungeon’ on the search bar, a lot of results imdiately popped up in front of his screen.

Scrolling over the posts, Desther verified each and every one of them, cross-referencing what he managed to gather so far, to accurately determine the authenticity of the dungeon location.

One certain post caught Desther’s attention. It was published by a guy nad Boqor.

After reading over it, verifying the comnts, and checking so other details online, Desther realized that this might be the dungeon that he was looking for.

The only problem was that according to Boqor, this dungeon was rated E-nace. Such dungeons, if a dungeon breakout occurs, can destroy so towns and kill hundreds of people in a jiffy.

In such dungeons, monsters were usually at the late stage of Tier 0, while the dungeon boss would be at the peak of Tier 0 or even already transcended to Tier 1.

And in most cases, dungeons outside the shelter have an eighty percent chance of breaking out before they could be discovered.

This particular dungeon that Boqor has posted was a dungeon that has already experienced a dungeon break.

Boqor did not know the exact situation, but according to him, the monster that roams outside that dungeon should look like oversized cats. Their level also ranges from level 5 to 10, matching up with the information provided by the governnt for such a dungeon.

Although he was only a Level 2 Awakened Professional right now, Desther was naturally not afraid of those creatures with a higher level than him.

However, even though he confird it over and over again, Desther would still not entirely believe all the information he saw online. He would not act carelessly and would assess the situation once he was in the area.

Since it was getting late, Desther thought that it would be better to start sooner.

He does not know if the badges will be finished by tomorrow, so he must ensure that he has extra money when the ti cos.

The area that Boqor ntioned, though, was outside the shelter.

Unfortunately, those without Professional Badges weren’t allowed to exit the shelters for obvious reasons.

Fortunately, Desther knew of a blind spot that he could use for exit without getting found out.
