Chapter 607: Chapter 117: Infiltration

“There’s a small squad of Northerners up ahead.”

Mia darted out of the Shadow Realm and appeared in front of everyone, then described the surrounding environnt and the enemy’s distribution and positions.

dea looked at Miel, and sure enough… Mia’s descriptions were almost identical to what Miel had glimpsed from the future.

The number of enemies, their distribution, even the timing of her report, were all exactly as anticipated.

It’s truly miraculous, dea thought to herself, feeling a bit envious.

“So, do I even need to tell you how to fight them?” Aske asked everyone.

“No need, no need,” the girls hurriedly expressed that we can handle it, these enemies are not enough for us.

Of course, this was also a strategic contempt for the enemy. In reality, the Haska guards who mastered laws were still a threat, whether it was the Frost or the derivatives of Frenzy, which were focused on offensive output. One careless mistake could potentially lead to being injured by the adversaries.

Therefore, the next task of designing a tactical plan was given to Thira, who was the most ticulous in her thinking.

————————

Northern outpost on the roadside.

If any player were here, they would recognize this so-called military outpost as just a roadside gas station.

However, the Norman Knights of Sicily didn’t care about such details. Since they didn’t drive those oil-consuming steel cars, they simply tore down half of the gas station and set up a temporary small military base.

The search for the military leader, Robert, continued. After all, if the demigod protection was absent, wouldn’t everyone eventually be overrun once the Church Court’s military production line was restored?

Thus, even though the Temple Knights’ troops were advancing southward toward Calabria, making this area soon to beco a dangerous battlefield, the retreating Norman Knights still chose to leave so of their number along the way to continue searching for traces of leader Robert.

One Norman Knight, holding a battle axe, stood at the edge of the gas station camp and pulled a tin flask from his chest.

Though alcohol should have been banned at such a place, the Northerners clearly were the type to trample all rules. The knight carelessly tilted his neck back and gulped down a few mouthfuls, then sloppily wiped his mouth.

At that mont, he saw a white-haired female knight walking into the camp.

A female knight… a rare species among the Norman Knights, though not entirely nonexistent. What drew particular attention was her white hair, clearly a characteristic of the northern bloodline completion evolved from the Frost Sequence.

Therefore, the Norman Knight silently lowered his head to show his respect for a Law Level Haska warrior.

The next second, his consciousness was taken away.

“So quick!” Sigrdrifa was sowhat surprised.

She knew that dea could control others by staring into their eyes, but it also depended on the opponent’s spirituality and level. For a level 6 Norman Knight to be subdued in an instant (without even making eye contact) was indeed beyond her expectations.

Then, the controlled Norman Knight raised his head and smiled:

“Shall we go, your honor?”

“Ah? Oh.” Sigrdrifa nodded her head, then continued onward, accompanied by the knight.

Along the way, she was still discreetly observing the controlled knight, noting his natural deanor and expression without any flaws.

From Sigrdrifa’s previous experiences, whether it was dea’s or Nora’s mind control, the controlled would have stiff facial expressions, scattered pupils, and sowhat rigid movents. A careful observer would easily notice sothing was amiss.

However, this controlled Norman knight now moved flawlessly without any sign of trouble.

“How impressive,” Sigrdrifa murmured. The Norman knight just gave a slight smile.

Of course, dea wouldn’t explain to her that this was not a mind control ability, but a “Manipulation Law” skill.

Nearby, next to the oil depot, another Advanced Norman knight was guarding the key passage, his battle axe and shield placed beside him.

In the army of the Northern Horn, the hierarchical system was so strict that even if you were just one level behind soone, you had to obey their authority most of the ti.

Thus, when the guarding Advanced Norman knight saw the knight who should have been stationed at the outermost periter leaving his post without authorization, his eyebrows twitched with displeasure—until his gaze shifted to Sigrdrifa beside him and he noticed her signature silver-white hair, whereupon he quickly bowed his head in awe and submission.

In the mont he bowed his head, his mind was swiftly attacked.

Attack! Being of a higher level, the Advanced Norman knight barely held on under dea’s attack for a mont, then imdiately activated his frenzy ability.

His pupils constricted instantly and his eyes beca bloodshot; his muscles seed to explosively expand, dominated by so beastly instinct, completely freeing him from mind control.

This Advanced Norman knight first unleashed a burst of frost, striking indiscriminately forward, then rolled to the side to where the weapons and shield were placed next to the oil depot.

The mont he grabbed the shield, the surrounding light dimd instantly. The shadows beneath the oil depot rose up, swallowing him whole.

Inside the Shadow Realm, the knight, now in a state of weightlessness, was swept up by the fierce winds and flailed helplessly in the air (driven by frenzy to slash at sothing), then was violently slamd back to the ground by the restored gravity.

His robust physical condition and abilities of the “Tenacity” sequence allowed him to bear the full brunt of the fall; however, before he could rise, more than seven hot lt blades simultaneously pierced into his body from all directions.

Under severe pain and injury, the Advanced Norman knight let out a final cry of despair. The power of frost erupted from within him at full force like a supernova, violently expanding outwards in massive icy spikes, engulfing all the “Peggys” surrounding him.

Then, completely exhausted, he fell to the ground and soon died.

Peggy ca to his corpse, confirming his death through spirituality.

“Who would have thought that on the brink of death, this guy could unleash such a terrifying move.”

“Luckily, Peggy used the Illusion Sword Avatars to surround him.”

The girls observing the whole process remarked. Indeed, even a Transcendent of lower rank should not be underestimated, otherwise one might end up dragging each other into hell.

After estimating the appearance of her opponent, Peggy’s body began to wriggle. First, her figure grew taller, followed by an expansion of her skeleton, then the filling and growth of her muscles, and finally the trimming and dyeing of her hair.

Soon, this originally fair-skinned, pretty, and lovely girl from the Blood Clan transford into a towering, stocky, red-skinned, bearded Norman man over six feet tall.

“I am a male Sigrdrifa!” said Peggy in a husky male voice, followed by a burst of laughter.

“Go to hell!” Sigrdrifa imdiately got angry, kicking fiercely at “his” backside.
