Chapter 80: Damian raged
"Damian, let
go!" Valerie continued to struggle to release herself from Damian’s grip. She even refused to walk, causing Damian to keep pulling her until he opened the car door.
"Damian, what the fuck are you doing! Let
go!"
"No!" Damian turned to Valerie with a sharp look. "You said you didn’t want to see
with soone else, you can’t wait anymore... That ans we have to get married now and I don’t mind about it!" He asserted, staring at the breathless Valerie.
"I don’t want to... We will never get married!" Valerie pulled her hand away.
"No!" Damian grabbed her hand again. "We will still get married even if you say no. Don’t be stupid and selfish because you’re influenced by a photo, by a trap... You need to understand that what’s happening now is not my fault... We’re just being ssed with by those who don’t like our relationship!"
"You say this isn’t your fault... You should take a look at yourself!" Valerie hissed, then tried to pull her hand away again but Damian held onto it. "Let
go, you bastard!"
"No, I won’t let you go!"
"But I don’t want to be with you... Everything can’t be the sa as before!"
"Everything will get better because we love each other!"
"I don’t love you anymore!" Valerie exclaid.
Instantly, Damian fell silent, furrowing his brow, looking into Valerie’s blue eyes intensely, as if searching for the truth there.
"I don’t love you anymore," Valerie repeated.
Damian shook his head imdiately. "I know you’re lying... Your lips say that but your eyes can’t deceive ..."
Valerie fell silent, increasingly disgusted by his smile, making her imdiately pull her hand away, which was becoming hurt from his tight grip.
"The situation is different now. You can’t marry
like this. Let
go, leave
alone!" she cried.
Damian just remained silent, not releasing Valerie, instead, he beca afraid that she would leave him again after this.
"Let
go!" Valerie shouted.
"No, if I let you go, you might leave
again..."
"It’s my right!"
"That ans you’re going to leave, you’re planning to leave," Damian said angrily, still holding onto Valerie’s arm tightly.
"It’s none of your business, you damn bastard!" Valerie continued to try to pull her hand away until she moved back, but Damian pulled her back.
"Let her go!"
Their attention was diverted by the voice of a man who had just arrived on a motorcycle.
"Tristan," Valerie whispered, looking at Tristan who imdiately got off the motorcycle and approached her.
Damian looked at Tristan in surprise, inadvertently letting go of Valerie from his grip.
"I notice she doesn’t want to be with you... You shouldn’t force her," Tristan said firmly.
"Whether she wants to be with
or not, it’s none of your business!" Damian retorted, his eyes glaring. "You better leave now, don’t interfere in our matter!" he continued, pointing at Tristan.
"Damian..." Valerie imdiately pulled Damian’s hand and pushed him to lean against the car’s body. "Don’t act like that towards him. He’s the one who saved Daniel!"
Damian fell silent imdiately, while Valerie distanced herself from him and approached Tristan.
"You should just leave, I’ll be fine," she said.
"No..." Tristan shook his head. "He will be rough to you. I have to make sure he leaves without hurting you at all!"
"What do you an by making sure I leave?" Damian asked as he approached them. "Do you want to kick
out? Don’t you know who I am?" he wondered, pointing at himself.
Tristan remained silent, pretending not to know who Damian was to Valerie as they had never t before, and Valerie hadn’t explained about him.
"I’m Daniel’s father, I’m Valerie’s fiancé!" Damian exclaid confidently.
"If you were her fiancé, she wouldn’t refuse to be with you," Tristan replied with a flat gaze.
"She refuses because we’re arguing!"
"That ans you can’t force her to go with you. You could endanger her!"
Damian’s eyes widened imdiately, and he grabbed Tristan’s shirt. "Do you think I would do violence?" he asked loudly, then punched him in the face.
"Tristan!" Valerie was shocked, looking at Tristan who imdiately fell after Damian pushed him. She imdiately helped him to stand up and looked at Damian full of horror. "What are you doing? You hurt soone when you’re the one at fault? What devil has possessed you?"
Damian fell silent, still clenching his fists.
"He’s the one who saved our son, he’s my friend, and he just doesn’t want you to be rough with ... Why did you hurt him?" Valerie asked with teary eyes, her breath rushed, her heart pounding, while her hands hugged Tristan’s arm. "I don’t like seeing you like this... you’re always seeking justification for yourself? You’re selfish, you always impose your will... You can’t respect other people’s decisions... You never change!" she exclaid angrily, then turned to look at Tristan.
Damian clenched his jaw, feeling sick, hurt, burning jealous, powerless to see Valerie rejecting him and then defending another man, pushing him spontaneously.
"Damian!" Valerie fell, as did Tristan beside her.
Damian imdiately sat on his stomach and then hit his face without giving him a chance to dodge.
"Damian, stop!"
Valerie stood up, trying to stop Damian by pulling him, but he pushed her away instead.
"Argh!" Damian gasped and grabbed Tristan’s shirt, lifting him slightly, and staring at him with his sharp eyes. "You must have brainwashed Valerie so she wouldn’t want to be with
anymore! You bastard, you piece of shit!" He shouted, then punched his face again until blood flowed from his nose.
"Argh..." Tristan tilted his head, wincing in pain.
Valerie, shocked by Tristan’s increasingly helpless condition, stood up again and tried to stop Damian, but her attention was drawn to Jerry running towards them.
"Jerry... Please stop him!"
Jerry imdiately pulled Damian strongly until he fell to the ground.
"You’re crazy!" he exclaid.
Damian just remained silent, panting heavily, glancing at Valerie who imdiately approached Tristan and held his face with a worried look. All of this seed to fuel his anger even more, making him stand up imdiately and try to separate them, but Jerry held him back.
"Bro!" Jerry hugged Damian tightly. "You have to control yourself or Valerie will hate you even more!" he whispered angrily.
"I can’t let that man disturb her, he will make her stay away from
as Samuel did before!" Damian retorted, struggling to free himself from Jerry’s embrace. "Let
go, I’ll teach him a lesson!"
Jerry maintained his position, while Valerie looked at Damian in astonishnt and fear.
"You said you didn’t want him to bother , but you’re the one who always bothers . My life is a ss because of you!" exclaid Valerie angrily, pointing towards Damian’s face while her left hand embraced Tristan’s arm as if preventing him from falling due to weakness.
Damian fell silent with disappointnt, once again Valerie prioritized soone else over him.
"Now I’m even more sure that we will never get married... Never. .. forget all our plans!" Valerie asserted. "I hate you, I don’t know you like I used to anymore... You’re so embarrassing!"
Damian just remained silent as Valerie invited Tristan to go to his rented house.
"What’s this, have I gone too far? Does everything have to end now? How could this happen... I’m defeated again... Should I let that man have a chance to approach her? He’ll take her and also take Daniel?" she wondered until Jerry slowly released his embrace.
"Everything won’t just end like this, you have to face all this!" Jerry exclaid firmly, then looked at Valerie and Tristan who were getting further away from his sight. "I think there’s sothing, there’s a conspiracy behind all this..."
