Although Thomas Smith ca to ask for help, he had never lowered himself to deal with others, so he spoke without subtlety and directly stated his request to Helen lendy.

"Mom told you about the dicine, right?"

His mom was practically treating this woman like a treasure now, so, since it involved her, there was no way mom wouldn’t tell her.

Helen lendy nodded and imdiately guessed why Thomas Smith was looking for her.

This pig really has a thick skin; selling him as pig’s head at would make for so good chewing.

Helen lendy inwardly rolled her eyes in a very ungraceful manner.

Thomas Smith continued:

"I know this has nothing to do with Olivia, but mom and dad and big brother are adamant it was her. Only you can convince them; can you... can you help talk to mom and dad?"

Helen lendy almost laughed at Thomas Smith’s forceful way of reasoning.

It’s amazing there really are fools like this in the world. Thanks to being born into the Smith Family; if he were born into an ordinary family, he would have been beaten up outside long ago.

"Oh, how do you know it has nothing to do with Olivia Smith?"

"Olivia told ."

Helen lendy was imnsely thankful she wasn’t holding a drink, or else she would have spat it out.

She looked at Thomas Smith, feeling that even saying one more word to such an idiot was a waste of ti.

This fool blindly believes Olivia Smith now; trying to reason with him is wasting breath, so she stated directly:

"Why should I speak up for her? Who is she to ?"

Thomas Smith didn’t expect Helen lendy’s refusal to be so direct, and his face darkened with anger:

"You know Olivia is innocent, so you’re just going to watch her suffer?"

"Oh, I didn’t know she was innocent."

Helen lendy let out a mocking laugh and said:

"Only fools like you would believe she’s innocent. Get lost and stop bothering ."

"Helen lendy!"

Thomas Smith was fuming, his voice raised a few notches, "You refuse to speak up for Olivia because you’re afraid that once she’s cleared of suspicion, she’ll compete with you for the Smith Family’s eldest daughter’s position, right? You’re quite the scher."

Helen lendy squinted her eyes and looked at Thomas Smith, then sneered. When she looked at him again, it was like watching a joke.

"I, a true Smith Family eldest daughter, with Smith blood, would be afraid of a fake competing with ? Thomas Smith, if you think your brain is just taking up space on your neck, you’d better get rid of it and stop embarrassing yourself."

She distanced herself further from Thomas Smith and said:

"Let tell you, Thomas Smith, whether Olivia is innocent or not doesn’t even matter; I don’t want to waste my ti speaking for soone I have no connection with."

She refused quite decisively and even playfully chuckled, "I told you, getting to speak is expensive."

Thomas Smith’s face grew darker and darker, "So you’re determined not to help Olivia?"

"Not necessarily. I heard big brother settled a salary of a few million for you; if you give all that money, I might consider saying sothing for you."

As soon as Helen lendy said this, Thomas Smith was so angry he burst into laughter.

"Helen lendy, your money-hungry face is truly ugly. I wonder if mom and dad saw it, if they’d still like you, this duplicitous daughter."

Helen lendy watched as he took off a very miniature cara from around his neck, shaking it proudly as if he had accomplished sothing very clever.
