That day, after Thomas Smith finished making a scene at her law firm and left, she called her mother to get to the bottom of the matter.

She had long known that Olivia Smith had been having her watched for two years. At the ti, Olivia said she did it because of her secret crush on Harry Hall, but she never really believed it.

But Olivia was good at hiding. No matter how hard they investigated, they couldn’t find any evidence proving she had done anything else.

So, when her mother told her about the dicine, she wasn’t surprised.

However, Olivia saying she lost it and not knowing whose hands it ultimately ended up with really allowed her to remain at large temporarily.

Unless they found evidence connecting the drugging to Olivia, they couldn’t legally charge Olivia with anything.

But that didn’t an she truly believed Olivia was innocent, especially since Thomas, that idiot, continuously confronted her, even knowing there was a high possibility Olivia poisoned her, and still had the nerve to co to her law firm asking her to bail Olivia out.

Did Thomas have his brain eaten by pigs or sothing?

What does he want now?

Now that Harry Hall wasn’t ho, she didn’t dare let the idiot Thomas inside. Who knows what kind of foolish things he might do with a cent-filled brain.

Standing a ter away from the door, she looked at Thomas Smith and said:

"What do you want?"

Looking at Helen lendy’s indifferent eyes through the door, Thomas couldn’t help but think of the day he went to the Smith Family to find his parents. His mother had also stood there, inside the courtyard gate, keeping a distance, asking him the sa question.

They looked alike, their indifferent expressions when looking at him were also alike.

Seeing Helen lendy, he recalled how his once doting mother now treated him like an enemy. He felt both hatred and heartache.

He lowered his gaze and was silent for a while, then coldly laughed at Helen lendy and said:

"What? Don’t even dare to open the door? Afraid I’ll do sothing to you?"

"Exactly."

Helen lendy answered without hesitation, which left Thomas at a loss for words.

Thomas: "..."

His face turned a deathly pale as he suppressed his anger.

Seeing Helen lendy again, there was a trace of mild sarcasm on her face.

"So scared, is it because you’re guilty of doing sothing bad?"

With a smile, Helen lendy retorted, "No, it’s because I’m afraid you’ll do sothing stupid. I can’t knowingly play the fool with you."

"You..."

Thomas was once again sharply rebutted by Helen lendy, leaving him seething internally.

How could he have co to this heartless woman for help, who eagerly wished Olivia dead, so as not to compete with her for the position of the Smith Family’s eldest daughter, let alone help her?

Thomas thought of leaving, but realizing that the only person who could make his parents and brother listen right now was Helen lendy, he suppressed his indignation.

Helen lendy saw that despite her harsh words, Thomas hadn’t turned away, so she knew this pig ca for Olivia again.

What does he want her to do this ti?

Her mother said her brother didn’t plan to incarcerate Olivia for the credit card fraud. Since Thomas had already gotten Olivia out of the Police Station, what more could he want?

With this in mind, she directly asked:

"What do you want from ?"

Thinking about having to swallow his pride and beg Helen lendy, Thomas’s face flushed deep red.
