Even if she’s foolish and doesn’t understand the law, she knows Edward Smith, his thods, and his ruthless nature.

Thomas Smith was right. If Edward wanted to accuse her, it would only take a mont.

Especially since she still has a theft record at the police station.

After angrily cursing Thomas for being useless, she looked at him with uneasy eyes, on the verge of tears, and asked:

"Second brother, what should we do now?"

Her eyes, full of trust and dependence, gave Thomas a stronger sense of responsibility as a man.

Feeling a warmth in his heart, he held Olivia’s hands, which rested on his arm seeking help, and said softly:

"Don’t worry, I’ll take you to stay at a hotel for the night. I’ll figure sothing out tomorrow."

Olivia has no survival skills outside the Smith Family, and though she has money in her account, she won’t use it unless she’s completely desperate.

Fortunately, Thomas is still by her side and willing to spend money on her, so even though she currently thinks of him as useless, she won’t show an ounce of disdain now.

"Okay, I’ll do whatever you say, second brother."

With Olivia’s eyes full of trust and admiration, Thomas took her to the most luxurious seven-star hotel in Boston, where the comfort wouldn’t be any worse than ho.

The money Thomas has isn’t enough to buy a good small apartnt in Boston, so he simply booked a hotel for a month, allowing Olivia to feel more at ease.

He could also use this month to convince their parents not to misunderstand Olivia anymore.

After settling the check-in procedures, Olivia looked at the worried face of Thomas, thinking about how he was accused and locked up in the police station because of him, feeling quite indignant.

Now that they were settled in, she spoke up:

"Second brother, what is wrong with our older brother? He already kicked out. How could he do sothing so low? Does he really want to drive to death?"

Thinking of how he was called back ho for a harsh scolding by his parents and brother, then kicked out, Thomas frowned even more deeply.

Seeing him not respond and instead frown, Olivia rembered how he was suddenly called back by Edward from the mall, and a trace of panic flashed in her heart.

After studying Thomas for a mont, she tentatively asked:

"Second brother, why did our older brother call you back today? Did sothing happen?"

Thinking about the argunt with his parents at ho and the suspicious points they raised, Thomas’s gaze slowly turned to Olivia, frowning deeper.

"Second brother?"

Feeling anxious under Thomas’s gaze, which felt like an interrogation, Olivia tried to appear calm and innocent.

"What happened? Tell , please don’t worry , okay?"

Her expression was gentle and concerned.

Thomas’s lips pressed into a line. Finally, with a hoarse voice, he asked:

"Olivia, be honest with , where did the dicine go?"

Hearing Thomas’s question, Olivia’s heart skipped a beat, and her facial expression slipped, showing clear panic at Thomas’s sudden suspicion.

But Thomas didn’t notice; after a brief panic, Olivia regained her composure.

Seeing Thomas’s eyes looking at her as if interrogating a criminal, her face instantly showed grievance and disappointnt.
