He comfortingly patted his wife’s back and said softly:

"Don’t worry, our blood ties are strong; our daughter won’t refuse to recognize us."

Though he said this, he himself wasn’t entirely sure.

On the Greece side, Harry Hall sat in his office, fell silent after hanging up the phone.

He understood his wife; she was never a sentintal person, much less one to bla others unnecessarily.

Back then, regardless of why her parents lost her, twenty-nine years had passed, and it had faded.

If he told her now that the Smith family wanted to et her officially and recognize her, she’d surely agree.

But as her husband, he felt pity for her.

A girl who grew up in an orphanage, subjected to others’ disdain, could have been a carefree little princess.

By her own strength, she had grown to be so outstanding, only for a bunch of strangers, connected by blood, to suddenly appear.

These family mbers — he didn’t know their true nature, but this blood tie might just entangle her life.

He furrowed his brow, leaned back in his office chair for a long ti, yet eventually felt at ease.

No matter what kind of family it is, how to make this decision should be up to his wife.

Since the mont she agreed to reveal the DNA test result to Edward Smith, she had actually made the decision to recognize them.

Why would he feel indignant about it?

If the Smith family turned out not to be decent people, wasn’t he, her husband, there to support her?

Thinking this way, he smiled, picked up his phone, and called Helen lendy.

"Honey, are you off work? I’ll co pick you up."

Since that day when he had a direct falling out with Leanne Richards, Harry Hall never stayed at the Hall Family residence, instead moving in with Helen lendy to the apartnt they had cohabitated for three years.

Returning ho, Harry Hall shared the Smith family’s intentions.

Helen lendy was more agile on her feet than before, and in a while, she should be able to walk like a normal person.

She had just put on an apron, standing beside Harry Hall helping him out, and paused for half a second upon hearing the news.

"If you don’t want to, I’ll just tell Edward Smith directly to stop bothering you in the future."

Helen lendy snapped back to reality, smiled indifferently, and said:

"It’s okay, if they want to et, let’s et; having more family is nice."

She showed neither intense longing nor disdain, as if her husband was rely introducing her to so new friends.

Harry Hall nodded, not expressing an opinion, while Helen lendy turned to him and said:

"Honey, don’t you have any opinions?"

The motion of Harry Hall chopping vegetables paused slightly, then he looked at her with a smile and said:

"No big opinions, just a small one."

"What’s the small opinion?"

Harry Hall put down the knife, rinsed his fingers covered in at scraps under running water, pinched Helen lendy’s chin, gently lifted it, then bent down to place a kiss on her lips.

Looking at Helen lendy’s slightly flushed cheeks, he smiled and said:

"There’ll be more people to compete with for my wife; I feel a little threatened."

Helen lendy laughed at his words, unashadly raised her arm to pull Harry Hall’s tie lightly toward her, standing on tiptoe, leaning in to kiss his lips.
