Chapter 768: Badge of Void
Carn quickly gave her instruction and turned her eyes away from the rged Colossus. It was as if the rged Colossus wasn't even worth her attention.
anwhile, within the new large portal, multiple monsters belonging to the Void appeared and started to swarm toward the fallen rged Colossus.
They were all dyed in so form of purple color and were all ferocious.
Their eyes glinted in a fierce light as they quickly locked onto the rged Colossus. As they charged ahead, they carried hints of Void which contaminated the resistance on the rged Colossus.
-105,000
-230,000
-652,000
Multiple damage outputs appeared in the rged Colossus health and its overall 1,000,000,000 HP finally showed signs of dwindling rapidly.
An original Colossus HP was 500,000,000, and this was a rged version that doubled the health. Even its attributes were increased further, but Carn could still DPS it so badly.
"Did you level up to 40?" Xu Feng asked. That was the only explanation for Carn to deal with such high damages. Level 40 was considered another milestone and a player's attributes stat soared at that mont.
"Mhm, I just did after killing a few of the reproductive Colossuses." Carn nodded.
"But seriously. The system is really trying to destroy the players by adding so many varieties of Colossus. You would think it's just one type, but no. There's the reproductive one, the authentic one, and now they even have the rged Colossus. What's next? They're going to bring up a God Colossus on the run?" She continued in disdain.
Such an arrangent felt so rushed and illogical to her. It was as if the System was constantly trying to integrate different power levels to balance out the world.
A mont later, Carn questioned when she saw him being silent. "Huh? Why aren't you responding?"
Despite the question Xu Feng was distracted by the beatdown that the rged Colossus was receiving.
'What did I suffer so much for?' He began to wonder about his decision. Sure, healer was definitely the most overpowered according to his research.
But at this mont, Carn seed more and more like the endga boss.
"How did your Voidmancer power increase so dramatically though?" Xu Feng asked curiously. Even if she reached level 40, she shouldn't have been able to summon this many high-level creatures of the void.
"Oh, that's because I got this to empower my skill." Carn suddenly retrieved a badge and said, "Librarian Griselda gave
this badge for surpassing her expectations."
"The badge of void…" Xu Feng easily recognized the badge as a Mythic rank item.
It wasn't an Artifact rank yet because Carn didn't reach the necessary requirents. Hence, the badge she held was rely a replica—but even a replica held imnse power.
"I understand now." He nodded and resigned to his fate. Their luck was just too far apart.
"Anyway, did you finish up the city that you went to?"
"Oh, that city?" Amused, Carn nearly laughed. "That city only has 3 reproductive Colossus. It was resolved a long ti ago. I just went to another city where our guild undertook the commission and assisted them."
At this point, Xu Feng felt as if he was the one being carried. His eyes twitched slightly. "So you already assisted the nearby cities before arriving here?"
"Yup, and I thought you would have been done already. But it seems like you really are the luckiest." Carn suddenly complinted and turned her attention to the other Colossus.
"Other cities only have like reproductive Colossus, with 1 or 2 authentic Colossuses. But you have 3 authentic and a rged one to top it off. No wonder you're struggling hard."
Had this been said by soone else other than Carn, then Xu Feng was positive he would have flipped out on them.
Taking a deep breath, Xu Feng plopped to the ground and admitted. "Yeah, I'm really exhausted now. What can a re healer like
do?"
He wasn't blaming anyone but himself. If he had taken into consideration that different types of Colossus would appear, then he wouldn't have been in such a miserable situation.
He had the knowledge, but this kind of knowledge could easily beco a shackle in his mind.
The butterfly effect was real, so the more he abused his knowledge, the more the knowledge could be rendered ineffective.
While he was contemplating the consequences of his action, he felt a slight pat on the shoulder.
"You should stop underestimating yourself." Carn smiled gently. "If you were just a re healer, then you would have been killed multiple tis already. This rged Colossus might be pumled by my current void creatures, but I still couldn't annihilate it in an instant. It goes to show just how tanky the boss was."
Indeed, the rged Colossus received a ton of damage, but its health point was still a little bit over 60%.
"Also, I've run out of the debuff potions that the Guild Leader gave , so do you mind lending
so more? I shattered the rged Colossus resistance, so now's the ti to debuff it." Carn then exclaid, referring to Xu Feng as his alias.
Naturally, she knew Xu Feng's identity as Lin Feng, And not Cool Wind. but she chose to still address him as honorary elder just in case others were eavesdropping.
"Right… you did nearly empty out my entire reserves of debuff potions." Xu Feng shook his head and forgot about the matter. With those debuff potions, dealing with the reproductive version was indeed easy.
"Ah, do keep in mind your skill usage." Carn suddenly clasped her hands and warned. "OneMandia is streaming now. He's been stalking
for a long ti, saying that my popularity is too high."
Nodding, Xu Feng understands her aning.
Till now, he had been restraining himself quite a bit so as to not overshadow Eclipse Nova's and Lin Feng's prowess. It was hard to be recognized as a top individual while not overpowering those two aliases of his.
"Alright, but the final kill must be done by ." Xu Feng stood up and demanded. "I wish to end it with a kick to their face."
