Capítulo 1287: Global Manhunt Part 11
Upon being healed to max, Peterson’s face had turned lifeless.
For the first ti, he actually wanted to die.
‘What shaless villain? What do you an we’re a team? Go to hell, you slimy, cunning four-eyed!’ Peterson was filled with aggrieved. He wanted to clarify that he had no relationship with Xu Feng whatsoever.
However, the re gazes from the bunch of players made it clear that his explanation would only go through deaf ears.
Their eyes were ablaze, clearly wanting to chop him into pieces and then be cooked into so dishes.
“Peterson? More like Fuckerson or Shiterson!”
“Agreed, this slimy bastard never planned on surrendering. He got Lin Feng’s healing in the field! Just take a look at those petals hidden in his equipnt used to blast the beauty!”
In the blink of an eye, players took notice that the explosive petals from previously were actually the source of healing for Peterson.
With this concrete evidence in place, even a fool could tell Peterson was, without a doubt, the main culprit.
anwhile, Peterson realized how terrible a mistake he had made.
Why in the world did he join the fun and enter this stupid Global Manhunt event?
How was this a global manhunt on the Vanguard Guild?
It was more of a crucifixion event on him as a character and personality altogether!
Unwilling to continue to be tortured both physically and ntally, Peterson chose to end his life.
“Watch out, he’s making a move!”
“This bastard is really a sly one!”
As soon as soone spotted Peterson casting a spell, the collective bunch imdiately retaliated and blasted him with all their might.
‘My goodness… how am I supposed to heal that?’ Xu Feng’s eyes widened in shock at the enemy’s offense toward Peterson.
He was a frightening healer, alright.
But even then, he couldn’t possibly heal soone who got nuked in one shot.
Peterson’s health points went straight to 0 as he died from his own spells alongside the others.
With his death, Xu Feng could revive him. Yet he never expected Peterson to turn off the revival feature decisively.
[System Notification: Player Peterson’s revival feature is disabled! Unable to revive Player Peterson!]
A system prompt also appeared and inford him that his effort was futile.
“Aish, what a pity.” Xu Feng clicked his tongue and shook his head. He wanted to play around with Peterson a few more tis, but the latter was no fun and ran away.
So might think Xu Feng was going to let him off now that he couldn’t be revived, but that would be a misconception.
“Good thing I have recorded the whole thing.” He smirked coldly and made an anonymous post in the Ga Forum.
A villain like Peterson definitely had to be publicized and spread all across to warn the rest to avoid him. Otherwise, who knows when they might be backstabbed by him?
“Guild Leader, did the system make a mistake?” Carn suddenly raised a question. “This global manhunt is ant for Peterson, right? You really gave him no chance to co back.”
“Ahem, that’s not my fault. If anything, it’s his fault for joining the global manhunt. I always make my stance clear. Those who do
well, I’ll repay them gracefully. But those who do
harm, I’ll repay them tenfold.”
Carn scratched her head in response.
Who was he kidding?
The one who did the most harm was none other than him!
What did Peterson do to warrant such treatnt from you?
‘The Guild Leader really is a petty person. So long as you aren’t friendly with him, he’ll push you to the corner of hell.’ Carn made another ntal note to herself.
She must make sure Xu Feng is completely chard by her to prevent herself from being on the receiving end of his deadly sche.
Despite having such thoughts, the rest of the players soon snapped out of their daze.
“Peterson’s dead, so now it’s ti for the Vanguard Guild!”
“Hmph, the bastard died off easily, but this Lin Feng is no saint either. He’s been in a cahoot with one of our Tier 2 players. We must be extra careful in case there might be more hidden impostors!”
As soon as one bright player made the logical claim that there could be more than one impostor hidden amongst them, Xu Feng quickly took his chance.
“That’s right!” Xu Feng clapped his hands and praised the player who made the statent. He then pointed at Zhang Jingyi and declared thunderously.
“That beauty over there is also my people. I’ve sent her there to swindle the bunch of you into targeting Peterson. She’s the real impostor!”
He was very honest and directly exposed Zhang Jingyi’s identity to everyone.
‘What the hell?’ Startled, Carn was in disbelief that he would oust their ally just like this. She was already inford beforehand about Zhang Jingyi’s identity, so she naturally knew Xu Feng’s words couldn’t be any truer.
“Why did you reveal the truth?” She scread aloud.
Now that the cat was out of the bag, she didn’t feel the need to pay attention to her tone and volu.
“Well, I wanted to help them out to save their brain cells from going into the negative.” Xu Feng explained innocently.
“Yes, but still, you could have said sothing else instead?” Carn was exasperated. She wondered if she had gone crazy or if Xu Feng had gone insane after a minor success.
Her doubts were soon answered, though.
“I spit at you, disgusting liar!” A Tier 2 Gunner spat out a mouthful of saliva to the ground and cursed. “Do you really take us for a fool?”
“I know, right! The beauty literally tanked a whole explosion and almost died from it. Why would she be an impostor?”
“Hmph, this Guild Leader Lin Feng really thinks we’re so 3-year-olds. Such a blatant and obvious lie would have zero people believing you!”
‘You people are definitely not so 3-year-olds. Each one of you is worse than a toddler.’ Carn twitched her brows and found the situation incredulous.
