I returned to the fourth floor to check on the senior executives still writhing in pain. The CEO of the company, his face swollen and bruised from my punches, lay unconscious.

In the corner of the room, a CCTV cara caught my eye. I headed straight to the surveillance room, where I found a security guard fast asleep, oblivious to the chaos that had unfolded during our battle.

I ensured he stayed asleep with a bit of Dark Magic, then located a flash drive in the room. Using it, I copied the CCTV footage showing their attack on Nana. With this, I could report them to the police.

Next, I grabbed the guard’s phone and transferred the footage. This evidence would be enough to throw the company into complete disarray.

After completing the transfer, I destroyed the CCTV system. Then, I returned to the CEO and the senior executives sprawled on the floor. I hit them again, hard enough to wake them up.

"Hey, Nao, you’re acting unusually cruel tonight," Envi said, his voice tinged with worry.

"I can’t forgive anyone who harms my family, Envi. I have to do this to protect them," I replied coldly.

Before long, the executives regained consciousness, groaning in pain and fear. Their expressions were etched with terror.

"Listen up, you pathetic scum! Now you understand the consequences of ssing with a woman, don’t you?" I snarled at them, my anger unrestrained. "Rember this—maybe you’re scared enough to leave Nana alone now. But soday, you might try sothing like this again."

I grabbed the CEO by the hair and glared at him with unrelenting fury, my aura pressing heavily on his psyche.

"If you dare lay a hand on Nana again, prepare to die!"

"Hiiiih! I-I promise! I swear I’ll never do it again... Please forgive ... Spare !" He begged, bowing down until his forehead touched the ground, trembling so much he wet himself.

I shoved him aside, rendering him unconscious once more.

After tying them all up, I called the police. There would be no escape for them now.

When the authorities arrived, I left a note and the flash drive containing evidence of their assault on Nana. Using [Shadow Steps], I hid and observed as the police reviewed the evidence and started their investigation. Paradics were called in to treat the severely injured executives.

But I wasn’t done. Using the phone I’d taken, I uploaded the footage of their attack on Nana to social dia. I included their nas, identities, and the company they worked for.

This will go viral by tomorrow. Goodbye, you despicable company!

Once everything was taken care of, Envi asked what I planned to do next. There were still two hours left before my transfer magic’s ti limit in this world expired.

"I’m going to check on Kai and Nana," I replied and headed for the hospital without delay.

When I arrived, I used [Eclipse Eye] to locate them. I found Kai in the ergency room, but he was alone. Nana and Naki had probably gone ho already.

Kai’s condition wasn’t serious, and he was conscious. I felt relieved but decided to visit him. Although visiting hours were over, I snuck in using [Shadow Steps].

Inside his room, Kai looked shocked to see .

"You’re the one who saved and Nana earlier... How are you here? Oh, but before anything else, let thank you for saving us!" He bowed deeply.

"I should be the one thanking you. If it weren’t for you, things might have been much worse for Nana. I’m truly grateful."

"Hehe, it’s nothing. It’s a man’s duty to protect won," he said with a shy smile, which made smirk slightly.

"Hmm, so do you like Nana?" I asked, probing his motives.

"W-What are you saying?! I-I don’t... Nana... That’s not... Haha." His face turned red, a reaction that made it clear he harbored feelings for her.

After regaining composure, he said, "I admire her. She’s the older sister of a forr coworker who passed away. She took his place to work here, even though she struggles with anxiety, especially around n. I suspected she had trauma, but despite that, she keeps smiling and pushing forward. I think she’s amazing."

"I see..." I nodded. "Well, Kai, I hope you’ll continue to protect her whenever you’re together."

"Of course, I’ll protect and take care of her," he replied with determination.

"Good. Oh, and one more thing—quit that terrible company with Nana as soon as possible. It won’t last much longer."

"Huh? What do you an?" He looked puzzled.

"You’ll find out tomorrow. Well, I’ll be going now." I turned and headed for the door.

"Alright. Take care, and thank you again!" he called out cheerfully.

"Yeah. I’m counting on you, Kai-senpai," I said, sensing that he might be the key to helping Nana overco her trauma around n. For now, I’d entrust her to him.

"Huh? Hey—" Before he could finish, I closed the door behind and disappeared into the shadows with [Shadow Steps].

...

With the remaining ti I had, I decided to head to our family’s apartnt to check on Nana’s condition. Upon arriving, I used [Eclipse Eyes] to see through the walls. I spotted Nana, Naki, and my mother sitting together in the living room. Mother looked deeply concerned as she spoke with Nana, who had returned ho looking disheveled. To my surprise, this skill allowed to hear the conversations of my targets as well.

"Nana, what happened? Why are your clothes torn like that? Are you okay?" Mother asked, her voice laced with worry.

"Earlier, while I was working late, so senior male colleagues tried to attack ..."

"What?! How dare they!" Mother’s expression turned furious.

"But thankfully, I’m alright, Mom. My coworker, Kai, protected ."

"Is that so? Thank goodness..." Mother sighed in relief.

"But there was soone else who helped ," Nana continued. "He showed up when Kai was cornered and being ganged up on by the seniors. He was amazing, Mom! He took them all down by himself!" Nana’s eyes sparkled with excitent, and Naki and Mother listened intently, equally captivated.

"He fought them off with BAM, BUM, BUAM! By the ti I ca to, all of them were sprawled on the ground."

"Wow, that’s incredible!" Mother and Naki exclaid, awestruck.

"Who was this person who saved you?" Mother asked, her curiosity piqued.

"I’m not sure, Mom. He wouldn’t say who he really was. He wore sunglasses, even at night, so I just called him Mr. Sunglasses," Nana said with a laugh, which made Kai chuckle as well.

Hearing that made cringe. I ended up discarding those sunglasses on the spot.

"Oh, but he ntioned that he is our family. Do we have any other family, Mom?" Nana asked, her tone filled with curiosity.

"...!!!" Mother suddenly froze, her expression betraying a flash of realization.

"Could it be... the one who paid for my hospital bills? He might be Takahiro Natsuki, your uncle..." Mother murmured in shock.

"What?! That’s possible. His features do resemble Dad and Nao. But could it really be him, Mom? He looked younger than he should be," Nana said, intrigued.

"Yeah, Mom. He looked like he wasn’t even 35 yet. His physique was great, his skin looked tight, and... well, I think he was handso!" Naki added.

"Hmmm, honestly, I’m not sure how old your uncle is. I’ve never t him in person. All I know is that he’s much younger than your father. If I had to guess, he might be around 28 to 30 years old now."

Nana was visibly surprised at how close their ages were.

"Your uncle was born shortly before your father and I got married after graduating high school. He was the child of a younger wife your grandfather took after remarrying," Mother explained, reminiscing about the past.

"Ugh, so Grandpa and Dad were both scumbags," Naki muttered. Hearing that revelation, I couldn’t help but agree—it seed like my father’s despicable traits were inherited from Grandpa.

"Enough about that. What’s important is that I’m relieved Nana’s safe. You don’t need to push yourself anymore, Nana. Quit that horrible company. I’m sure you’ll find a better job sowhere else," Mother said, pulling Nana into a tight hug.

"Yes, Mom..." Nana responded, her voice trembling as she hugged Mother and began to cry.

"I’m also glad to know your uncle, Takahiro Natsuki, is here. Maybe soday, we can et him in person and thank him for all the help he’s given us."

"That’s right, Mom. I hope we can et him again," Nana said with a smile.

I deactivated [Eclipse Eyes]. Satisfied with what I had seen and heard, I felt relieved knowing they were safe. Even though they had guessed my concealed identity as Takahiro Natsuki, it didn’t bother . I’d just have to be more careful next ti.

"Hehe, looks like everything went smoothly for you here, Nao," Envi said to .

"That’s true... but there’s one more thing I need to do."

I opened the [Trade Goddess Points] nu and selected option three: [Grant Good Fortune to Your Family]. I silently wished for Nana to find a better job and for Kai to have good fortune as well.

[You have used 20 Goddess Points!]

Takahiro Nana is about to get lucky!

"Alright, now I just have to wait for this to take effect" I muttered.

"Hey Nao, sotis you are a caring, gentle, and warm-hearted person. But tonight you are like another person, you are cold, cruel, and sadistic. You really confuse , are you a hero or an anti-hero HAHAHA. But I still agree with your actions, those bastards really need to be taught a lesson! I support you, buddy!" Envi tried to cheer up.

"Thank you Envi.... It’s ti for us to return to Aetheria."

I activated the [Back to Another World] nu. A magic circle ford beneath , and my body dissolved into particles of light as I returned to Aetheria.

...

I woke up in the infirmary bed at Solara Magic Academy. Grateful to have saved Nana, I imdiately checked my main quest. To my disappointnt, it hadn’t changed—I still needed to graduate from Braveheart Knight Academy and pass the Hero’s Examination to secure Nana’s future.

There was no ti to rest easy. I needed to grow stronger to protect my family. Resolving to stay focused, I prepared for the next day’s eting with the Magic King, Salvador von Solara.
