It was because of the Mist that always enveloped Daniel that even though a powerful aura emanated from him, no one could discern his identity. They could only sense the presence of a powerful being that had once descended here.
But even so, the sheer strength of this aura was enough to make all the living God ranks hesitate to act recklessly. After all, Daniel now stood as the only god in a state of revival in the entire Land of Origin, perhaps even in the entire world.
Daniel raised his hand again. In the next mont, the power of destruction swiftly killed several demigods who had dared to sche against Luna.
The deaths weren’t drawn out, painful tortures but rather the effortless erasure of their existence, as if squashing an ant beneath a boot, with no more thought than that.
But it was Daniel’s leisurely stroll that filled the hearts of all the demigods present with terror. They could never have imagined that such a powerful being could exist in this world!
So of the demigods had originally set their sights on Luna’s divine power. However, after Daniel’s domineering arrival, those demigods were left trembling in fear. If running away had been an option, they would have fled to the ends of the earth. But the reality was, they had nowhere to escape.
Daniel didn’t bother to discern what kind of attitude the demigods held toward him. In any case, those demigods who had any hostility toward him or Luna were easily erased.
Just as Daniel was contemplating whether to conduct a full Demigod Rank cleansing, a familiar figure suddenly appeared by his side.
"Lord Crossbridge, what are you doing here?"
Upon seeing the figure of Luck Goddess Luke, Daniel was montarily surprised. However, there was no trace of shock on his face.
In contrast, Luck Goddess Luke, upon seeing Daniel, experienced a brief ntal freeze.
"Lord Crossbridge, we truly are fated to et again. I was just casually strolling, and I never expected to run into you here."
At this point, Luck Goddess Luke seed to sense sothing. She turned her gaze toward the distant castle, her expression growing intriguing.
"Hmm? So... are you from the future of the future?"
"Oh my, it’s hard to imagine seeing two of you in the sa tiline!"
"Let see, have you grown...?"
"Well... it doesn’t seem like there’s much of a change! But the version of you in the castle seems more innocent, like a fresh-faced young man—just my type!"
"I still prefer you when you were younger. You looked so cute."
Hearing this, Daniel’s face darkened slightly. He never imagined that Luke would offer such an evaluation of him.
But, given their history as old friends, he let it slide.
Daniel shook his head and cast aside all those random thoughts. He looked at Luke seriously and said:
"Regardless, Luke, I really need to thank you. You’ve given trendous help along the way."
As he said this, Daniel was sincere. His growth had been closely tied to Luke’s help.
On the other hand, Daniel himself hadn’t been able to do much for Luke. So, he had decided to begin with a simple "thank you."
However, his gratitude was t with a hug from Luck Goddess Luke.
In that mont, Luke’s voice grew gentle and considerate.
"Lord Crossbridge, you really don’t need to thank ."
"I think in this world, besides , only you could truly feel the guidance of luck."
"Everything I’ve done was simply because I felt the guidance of luck, so you really don’t need to thank . All these actions were my own personal choices."
"And I believe that soday in the future, you will choose to help as well. That will be enough, won’t it? In the end, when that day cos, I’ll be the one to thank you."
Daniel smiled faintly, but he didn’t leave just yet.
As long as he was present, those demigods who were itching to make a move could only shiver, too afraid to do anything.
Daniel’s mind drifted back to how he had first arrived in this era, in such a helpless and vulnerable state. At that ti, not to ntion Demigod Rank, even if he had encountered a demigod, he would have had to be extrely cautious, fearing an ambush that could cost him his life.
But now, the situation had completely changed!
At that mont, Daniel seed to rember sothing. He turned to Luck Goddess Luke and asked:
"By the way, Luke, are there any enemies left in this era? If so, I’d be happy to take this opportunity to erase them."
Luke rubbed her forehead thoughtfully before scanning the surroundings.
This wasn’t because she didn’t want Daniel to help, but because... all of her enemies seed to have already been eliminated.
After a brief mont of silence, Luke sighed with a smile, saying:
"Lord Crossbridge, it seems your strikes are still as precise as always. I think all of my enemies have already been cleared by you."
She gestured toward the nearby bodies of Demigod Rank and smiled playfully.
"Yes, they’re all dead here."
Daniel nodded and used his mind power to scan the corpses of the demigods. Just then, Luck Goddess Luke seed to rember sothing and spoke:
"By the way, if you have the ti, there are a few others you should probably deal with. There’s the Iron Wolf Matron Luke, the Shadow of the Isles ndo, and..."
Luck Goddess Luke went on to list a string of nas.
Daniel nodded in acknowledgnt, saying nothing more. He then slowly raised his finger and snapped.
In the next mont, several teors shot off in different directions, crashing down on the targets.
These demigods, who had been hiding away in their own territories, recuperating and lying low, would never have imagined that they would one day encounter a true catastrophe!
And this catastrophe ca without warning.
They didn’t even have ti to comprehend why it was happening, only to be obliterated without any understanding of how or why.
To Daniel now, killing a few demigods was as simple as squashing ants.
He then raised his hand, pulling the corpses from his spatial bag and tossing them in front of Luck Goddess Luke.
"Hmm... take a look and see if there’s anyone left out."
"I’ve dealt with the ones causing you trouble. If there are any stragglers, let know."
