[You have slain Boss: Salamander King]
[You have slain Boss: Gargoyle Bat]
[You have slain Boss: Abyssal Shellmaw]
[Current Boss Kill Rewards: Treasure Chest x3 (Accumulated)]
...
As Daniel laid eyes on the words "Accumulated," a thoughtful expression crept across his face.
According to the knowledge he had gathered previously, bosses that could stack rewards like this were rarely final bosses of a dungeon. Instead, they were often classified as phase bosses.
After all, the difficulty of high-tier Underground Labyrinths was no joke. Many adventurers failed to reach, let alone defeat, the final boss. At tis like these, they’d settle for killing these mid-level bosses with checkpoint-like roles. That way, even if the run ended in failure, they would at least walk away with rewards from phase bosses.
But for Daniel, there was no need to take such a roundabout route.
His plan? Just clear the entire Challenger’s Labyrinth in one go—plain and simple.
Standing silently, Daniel gazed at the underground lake, now stained deep red with fresh blood. If his guess was correct, the real final boss of this place was about to show itself.
Just as he was lost in thought, the still lake suddenly began to boil violently.
And then—shockingly—the stalactites that had fallen into the water began to converge, reshaping into a familiar form.
The [Gargoyle Bat] was reforming.
Even more bewildering—it had its HP bar visible again! Though this ti, it was grey, indicating that it couldn’t be attacked or damaged just yet.
Within re seconds, the Gargoyle Bat’s massive stone body began to tremble violently. Pieces of rock crumbled from its wings and body, splashing loudly into the lake below.
And then—rebirth.
[Boss: Gargoyle Bat]
[Level: 60]
[Description: A bat turned to living stone, ard with a vast array of long-range attacks. Said to possess power that defies common understanding.]
[Additional Trait: Undying Form – Upon death, the body reforms from nearby stalactites and revives after 5 seconds. (Trait is sealed if the creature enters Berserk mode.)]
...
What the hell? It can revive?
And now it even had a new line of description?
Daniel frowned. When he first encountered the Gargoyle Bat, there had only been one line of description. But now, a hidden ability had suddenly revealed itself.
Clearly, this was one of those underhanded designs—chanics that didn’t appear until specific conditions were t. The kind that could easily break the spirit of an unprepared adventurer.
If it were soone else in his shoes right now, they might’ve been driven to despair.
Shifting his gaze to the side, Daniel checked on the other two bosses: [Abyssal Shellmaw] and [Salamander King]. As expected, they also showed signs of the sa revival trait.
Even worse—the small mobs that had been lurking in the underground lake had also begun to revive en masse.
Seeing this, Daniel could only sigh helplessly.
"Well, if you’re all coming back just to die again, I’d be rude not to oblige."
[Divine Thunder Shield]!

...
Daniel launched an all-out assault without a shred of hesitation. No holding back, no defense—just pure offense.
The ensuing fight was brutal and lasted close to a full minute. Then, just as before, the familiar system prompts appeared before him:
[You have slain Boss: Salamander King]
[You have slain Boss: Gargoyle Bat]
[You have slain Boss: Abyssal Shellmaw]
[Current Boss Kill Rewards: Treasure Chest x6 (Accumulated)]
...
Huh??
Daniel blinked in surprise. He hadn’t expected that defeating these bosses again would continue stacking the reward total.
Does that an... if I kill them over and over, the rewards will just keep piling up?
No way! This... this is too good to be true!
Daniel’s eyes sparkled with dangerous excitent.
If that’s how this worked, then he was about to farm this place dry!
In the instant the three bosses began their next resurrection sequence, Daniel was already mid-swing with another [Divine Thunder Shield].
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
...
[Current Boss Kill Rewards: Treasure Chest x12 (Accumulated)]
Not bad!
These three were proving to be real team players!
Looking at his growing pile of treasure chests, Daniel could feel his blood rushing with excitent.
Had any other adventurer been present to witness this scene, they’d probably be suffering a complete ntal breakdown.
An Underground Labyrinth where the bosses keep resurrecting indefinitely?
It sounded more like a nightmare than a ga chanic.
Only soone like Daniel—with absurd strength and an even more absurd mindset—would see this broken chanic and think:
"Jackpot!"
...
Ti passed.
And passed.
And kept passing.
After so ti, Daniel started to feel a bit... bored.
So he found a sturdy boulder nearby, casually sat down, and continued tossing out skills to obliterate the endlessly respawning bosses—all while scrolling through his [Gno Communicator].
And wouldn’t you know it? There were quite a few major headlines making waves lately.
"Shocking! An SSS-Rank talent erges among the Elves!"
"Gno Research Delegation to visit Human realms for academic exchange!"
"Urgent! Terra Fortress suspected of going dark—international teams scrambling for contact!"
Daniel skimd over the major headlines without much reaction.
But then, one article caught his attention. Its bold headline stretched across the entire screen:
"Identity of Prince Daniel Remains a Mystery — Royal Bibliotheca Keeps Its Silence!"
"Rumors Suggest Human Emperor May Appoint Daniel as King of Middon—No Official Response Yet!"
"Uncovering Daniel’s True Strength — Debate Rages Across the Human Realm!"
So it had finally co to this.
His na... was now the talk of the continent.
Everyone had their own theories, their own speculation.
So thought he was the reincarnation of a fallen god.
Others were convinced he had stumbled upon a mythical skill that could one-shot anything.
Daniel couldn’t help but laugh inwardly.
"Do they really think it’s that simple?"
After all, who would ever believe that soone who awakened with an F-rank talent like Furniture Craftsman would rise to such godlike strength?
No one had ever seen Daniel fight at full power.
That’s why, in the eyes of the public, he had beco an enigma, wrapped in rumors, shrouded in speculation.
He scrolled through the wild theories and the endless comnt sections, each post more absurd than the last.
So suggested he was a True God in disguise.
Others claid he had made a pact with the Abyss.
A few even speculated that he had unlocked a secret tutorial that gave him access to infinite stat points.
Of course, Daniel ignored all of it.
He shut off his [Gno Communicator] without hesitation.
The most absurd comnts didn’t deserve a second glance. Seriously... a disguised deity? A God-slaying cheat code? These people had no imagination.
Still, buried deep among the noise, there were a few scattered remarks that did hit a little too close to the truth:
"Could it be... that Daniel has mastered a God Rank Skill?"
That... was actually correct.
But before such comnts could gain traction, they were drowned in the endless sea of baseless conspiracy theories and fanboy debates.
For now, Daniel had no intention of revealing his true power to the world.
There were still too many variables, too many risks.
And until he was truly ready—he would keep his cards close to his chest.
After all, in a world that constantly shifts and evolves... the smart ones play the long ga.
