Although Zhou Yuni didn’t speak very loudly.

But she intentionally made sure Fang Xiu could hear, so her voice wasn’t too quiet either.

Fang Xiu, who was currently being pinned down on the bed by Luo Zhiming, heard everything loud and clear, and instantly lost all mood.

She pushed Luo Zhiming away and angrily covered herself with the blanket on the bed.

"What’s the matter." Luo Zhiming was in high spirits and didn’t pay close attention to what Zhou Yuni had said.

Fang Xiu gave a glance at the door and said, "Didn’t you hear what your mom just said?"

"What did she say, isn’t it just calling us to have a al?"

As Luo Zhiming spoke, he pulled off Fang Xiu’s blanket, and with a pained expression, he said,

"Wife, hurry up, please finish it, being halfway like this is really unbearable."

Fang Xiu indifferently pushed him away, "No, we’re going to eat, your mom is calling from outside."

"What do you care about her for, eating the al a bit late won’t make any difference." Luo Zhiming was in a dilemma, really anxious like a cat scratching at him, and his tone carried a bit of urgency, "Wife, I’m begging you, I can’t stop now."

"Go tell your mom that, didn’t you hear your mom just now calling shaless?" Fang Xiu deliberately said this to make Luo Zhiming suffer a little, so he would know whose fault it was when the ti ca and see if he would still play the filial son.

"What’s there to be shaless about, we’re husband and wife, what’s there to be ashad of between a couple, if we don’t do it, how are we supposed to have children, isn’t my mom always saying how my sister-in-law is about to beco a grandmother, and how envious she is?" Luo Zhiming once again flipped off the blanket from Fang Xiu’s body and pressed his body onto hers, "Co on, wife."

"You dead ghost, even now you still think about this." Fang Xiu deliberately remained silent, letting him do as he pleased, but after he moved a few tis, she suddenly pushed Luo Zhiming away and threw clothes at him, "Quickly put on your clothes and go have dinner, and afterwards bring my food in to eat."

Fang Xiu was doing this on purpose, she knew that if a man got interrupted like this, there would inevitably be resentnt in his heart.

And she was hoping that Luo Zhiming would later take out this resentnt on Zhou Yuni.

Even though today’s matter had been resolved, Fang Xiu’s resentnt in her heart had not dissipated.

"What’s the matter, not going out to eat?" After being interrupted once or twice, Luo Zhiming really lost interest, and after putting on his clothes and seeing Fang Xiu still lying on the bed without moving, he raised an eyebrow and asked, "Is it just because of that little thing with my mom today?"

"It’s not about your mom, there will be plenty of ti to deal with her later." Fang Xiu pointed to her swollen cheek, "It’s your sister, see my face?"

"Hmm?" Luo Zhiming did know about the argunt between Fang Xiu and Luo Cuilan in the afternoon, but he was unaware that they had gotten physical.

Fang Xiu gently touched her face, winced in pain, and then continued, "It was your sister who hit this afternoon."

Luo Zhiming had already had an argunt with Luo Cuilan just now, and at this point, he didn’t know what to say, so he pretended to be clueless, "What happened with my sister again?"

Fang Xiu recounted the events that transpired after Fang Ping’an’s visit this afternoon to Luo Zhiming, including the scuffle she had with Luo Cuilan.

Initially, Luo Cuilan had also roughly detailed the incident to Luo Zhiming. Naturally, the two won’s accounts were quite different; both argued that they were in the right, and Luo Zhiming couldn’t be bothered to delve into it.

He placated Fang Xiu, "Let it go, wife. In the end, you fought back, so it’s not like you were at a disadvantage. Don’t hold it against her. That’s just how my sister is; she’s too competitive."

Upon hearing this, Fang Xiu beca unhappy, "What do you an by that? When you talked about your mom, you said I should make concessions, and now for your sister, I should make concessions, too. What, if I get beaten to death by them next ti, should I still be accommodating?"

"Then what do you propose we do? As a son, how can I side with my wife to fight my own mother?" Luo Zhiming looked at Fang Xiu helplessly. "Not to ntion others would talk behind our backs; even if my brother ca back, he would beat the life out of ."

Fang Xiu pouted, knowing there was reason in Luo Zhiming’s words, but still feeling wronged, "But how can I tolerate your sister behaving like this?"

"My sister is pregnant now, how could I possibly raise my hand against her?" Luo Zhiming finished speaking and sighed, pulling Fang Xiu into an embrace and whispered soothingly, "Let it be. My sister won’t be staying in our house for long. Once she’s married, she’ll likely spend more ti with the Zhang family. Even if she stays longer, at most she’ll leave after the New Year."

Pausing for a mont, Luo Zhiming continued, "As for my mom, you don’t need to worry about that either. My brother has already returned to the forces, right? When he was ho, he promised to find a job in the forces. I’m sure we’ll get a letter soon. Once I start earning money, I can send you more each month. You can spend it however you like; my mom won’t be able to say a word to you."

Hearing about Luo Zhiming’s upcoming work in the provincial city, Fang Xi’s anger dissipated.

If Luo Zhiyong could find Luo Zhiming a higher-paying job in the provincial city, she believed all problems would be resolved.

Once they had money, she would go to the city with Luo Zhiming, not caring about the few dollars Zhou Yuni gave her for pocket money each month. In the city, she could buy whatever she wanted and live as well as she imagined.

As for Luo Cuilan, there was even less to say—a re unmarried woman, whom she would rarely see in the future.

Thus, she no longer refused to go out for dinner, cheerfully sitting up on the kang, getting dressed, and saying, "I wonder when your brother will find you a job. It seems uncertain for this year; it’s just a few months till the New Year."

Luo Zhiming thought for a while and said, "There’s still almost three months until New Year’s. I think it’s possible. Let’s just take it month by month; when New Year cos, we’ll also have so money in hand."

"Right, that’s what I’ve been saying." Fang Xiu thought a mont, then added, "Then tomorrow I’ll talk to my elder sister, and when she writes a letter or calls my brother, I’ll ask her to ntion this matter."

"That’s good. Make sure you talk to her nicely, don’t make a fuss with your elder sister," Luo Zhiming nodded.

Fang Xiu felt that Luo Zhiming’s words were a reprimand for her being harsh to Fang Pingying, and she glared at him dissatisfiedly, adding, "I know, I’ve been really nice to her these days, and I haven’t intentionally caused any trouble."

Luo Zhiming smiled and shrugged, believing his wife wasn’t making trouble because she didn’t dare to.

He wasn’t foolish; he was keenly aware of the household affairs.

His wife might appear formidable, but she tended to squabble over petty stuff. Fang Pingying was different; if she truly got serious, she could be quite ruthless.

What’s more, people found Fang Pingying’s words and actions more credible, unlike Fang Xiu, who only knew how to make a fuss all day.

Seeing Fang Xiu dressed, Luo Zhiming opened the door, ready to go out for dinner.

But upon opening the door, he saw Zhou Yuni with her back to him, standing not far from the door, looking as if she had just walked there. (To be continued.
