Guan Yushan was really frustrated with his daughter. This was an office, and she was answering other people’s calls—it was simply ignorant.
Yet, when Lu Yichen heard the words from the other end of the phone, his eyes shot sharply towards Guan Yuyan. Guan Yushan had a bad feeling that the matter he ca for today might not be settled.
Lu Yichen didn’t hang up the phone and asked coldly, “Did you just tell my fiancée that you’re my girlfriend?”
As soon as these words were uttered, Guan Yushan jumped in alarm and quickly looked at his daughter. What nonsense had this foolish girl been spouting?
Guan Yuyan said softly, “It was just a joke.”
Lu Yichen retorted, “A joke? Is that how you make a joke?”
