Chapter 1192: Chapter 1192: Call the Police
Ji Lin, having had two extra bowls of soup, wasn’t feeling much better than Ji Wei; overheated and uncomfortable, she stood up to leave but was unsteady on her feet.
Struggling, she took her cellphone out of her bag and called the staff at the store, asking them to co and pick her up.
After putting her phone back, she was about to slowly make her way out when she collided with Ji Wei, who had been pushed by soone. Both failed to keep their balance and fell to the ground together.
The waiter who had pushed the door open saw it all from their angle, it seed like the two were hugging. The waiter up front even scread, causing people from several surrounding private rooms to co out and see what was happening.

This elicited another gasp from the onlookers.
The people who ca for Ji Lin shouted, “Take her to the hospital quickly!”
Only then did they react, quickly supporting her to leave.
Ji Wei yelled to the onlookers, “Could soone kindly call the police and report that there are drug transactions happening in this restaurant?”
Initially, no one wanted to get involved, but seeing Ji Wei’s current state and hearing his words, fearing trouble, soone ran downstairs to file a report.

Ji Wei felt he couldn’t hold on any longer; he lifted his hand and made another cut in his thigh, and blood pooled on the floor.
The terrified waiters scread again, and the restaurant owner rushed over, planning to take Ji Wei to the hospital. Firstly because he feared an incident in his place, and secondly because it was bad for business.
But Ji Wei wasn’t ready to leave yet, so he wouldn’t let anyone lead him away even as the police arrived.
Ji Wei forced himself to explain the situation from start to finish to the police: “Get the food, bowls, and spoons from both private dining rooms tested; they contain tainted substances.”
By now, Zhai Yuyuan was terrified, recalling Ji Wei’s intellect from their school days; she might have overlooked that he could have figured sothing out.
Thinking she could get away with it, she turned to retrieve the rice wine dumplings bowl from the neighboring room, pretending the soup pot wasn’t her concern.
But her plans were halted by Ji Wei shouting: “Zhai Yuyuan, where do you think you’re going? Trying to escape or destroy evidence?”
Seeing her ready to leave, the restaurateur frowned at Zhai Yuyuan: “Yu Yuan, just what is going on here?”
Zhai Yuyuan, her face pale, replied: “How is this related to ? They were caught in the act, I’m the victim here.”
But the police didn’t care about her excuses; they called in professionals to collect evidence and took everyone involved back to the station.
The restaurateur was furious, yet still managed to call the Zhai family during his statent at the station, briefly explaining the situation.
The Zhai family was thunderstruck upon receiving the call, the old master nearly passed out from shock: “Is she trying to ruin the Zhai Family?”
Jiao Haifang, puzzled and panicked, muttered: “What do we do now, what should we do?”
It was the sisters-in-law Li Yuduan who pushed her, urging, “Sister-in-law, quickly call Big Brother and your nephews to co assess what’s actually happened; make sure this doesn’t beco irreparable.”
