{Raven}

The afternoon sun filtered through the ornate roof of one of the many academy gazebos, casting intricate shadows across Raven's face.

She'd been sitting there in silence for what felt like hours, lost in her thoughts...

... Next to Armia, who'd, for so reason, sat down next to her.

Raven's eyes darted to Armia for the umpteenth ti. The darian girl's presence was... unexpected.

[Hm... Screw it,] Raven thought, her curiosity finally getting the better of her. [Might as well ask.]

"So," Raven cleared her throat. "What brings you here?"

Armia blinked, as if suddenly rembering Raven was there. She let out a long-suffering sigh, her shoulders slumping.

"With lisa and Isabella out doing their thing, there's jack shit to do around here," Armia grumbled. "And I'm not exactly eager to head back ho yet."

Raven nodded, about to let the conversation lapse back into silence when sothing caught her attention.

"Isabella?" she asked, one eyebrow quirking up.

Armia's brow furrowed.

"What about her?"

"You included her," Raven elaborated, her voice carefully neutral. "Couldn't help but notice. Didn't know you two were that close nowadays."

A faint blush crept across Armia's face, barely noticeable.

"We're not," Armia said quickly. Too quickly. "I just ant... if she was here, we could practice our spell parries for the presentation. That's all."

But Raven's mind was already racing, fixating on that telltale blush. There was more to this story, she was sure of it.

"Uh-huh," Raven nodded slowly. "Did sothing happen?"

Armia groaned, burying her face in her hands.

"... Gods, you're too fucking perceptive for your own good, you know that?" she muttered.

Raven just waited, her silence more effective than any prodding.

Finally, Armia looked up, her eyes darting around as if checking for eavesdroppers.

"Fine," she hissed. "If you must know, Isabella and I... we might have... fucked. At the party."

Raven's eyebrows shot up so fast she was surprised they didn't fly off her face.

"... Really?" She breathed. "You and Isabella?"

Armia nodded, her blush deepening.

"It just... happened," she said, her voice a mix of embarrassnt and... sothing else. Pride, maybe? "One minute we were arguing about dumb stuff, and the next, I-I just... I bent her over a railing and...

Yeah."

A beat of silence passed. Raven couldn't deny it; she was surprised.

"I... did not see that coming," she stated.

Armia sighed, leaning back and staring up the way she had been since she got here.

"Neither did I. I-I was drunk, though, and... Gods, that fucking... that bitch is so fucking cocky." This too was surprising. It was rare to see Armia devolve into such language. "So, yeah, it just...

happened."

Raven sat there for a mont, processing this new information. Her curiosity, despite her best efforts, got the better of her.

"How... did it happen, exactly?" she asked, her voice low and careful.

Armia sighed, running a hand through her golden hair. She stared off into the distance, almost as if she'd forgotten Raven was there.

"Well, like I said, we were arguing about... whatever, and then..." She trailed off, lost in the mory. Raven waited, silent and still. "Isabella, she... she just looked at . With those fucking green eyes of hers.

And she just... she dropped down to her knees and pulled my... my dick out."

[... Oh my.]

Raven felt her body temperature rise slightly, unbidden. She shifted in her seat, uncomfortable with her own reaction.

"She sucked off. Hard. And then..." Armia continued, seemingly unaware of Raven's discomfort. "I turned her around, bent her over that railing. Lifted her skirt and... Gods, her ass just..."

Raven's breath caught in her throat. She could picture it vividly - Isabella's flushed face, her tail swishing with excitent, Armia's strong hands gripping her hips.

[What the fuck is wrong with ?] Raven thought, trying to shake the image from her mind.

"I... I took her right there," Armia said, her voice husky with the mory. "Hard and fast. Anyone could've seen us, but I didn't care. The way she moaned, the way she pushed back against ..."

Raven felt a familiar heat pooling in her lower belly. She crossed her legs, trying to ignore the growing arousal.

"Fuck," Armia breathed. "I've never felt anything like it. Not since my first ti with lisa. The way she tightened around when she ca... I thought I was going to lose my mind."

Raven swallowed hard, her mouth suddenly dry.

She could feel her heartbeat quickening, her body responding to Armia's vivid description despite her best efforts to remain detached.

"That's... quite sothing," Raven managed to say, her voice slightly strained.

Armia blinked, seeming to co back to reality. She looked at Raven, a faint blush creeping across her scales as she realized how much she'd revealed.

"I... yeah," Armia mumbled, looking away. "Sorry, I didn't an to... overshare."

Raven shook her head, trying to regain her composure.

"It's fine," she said softly, even as her body thrumd with unexpected arousal. "We all have our monts of... weakness."

Armia nodded, still not eting Raven's eyes. An awkward silence fell between them.

[... Quite the night, I guess.]

"H-Hey," Armia took a deep breath. "You wanna... go get a bite to eat, or sothing?"

Raven thought about it.

She didn't have anything better to do.

"Sure."

{lisa}

lisa and Isabella strolled down the street, their earlier playful mood still lingering.

Occasionally, Isabella's tail brushed against lisa's leg in a way that was definitely not accidental.

"Rember," Isabella purred, her erald eyes glinting mischievously. "Don't forget to let know if you start running low on Essence again. I'd be more than happy to top you up."

lisa rolled her eyes, but couldn't suppress a grin.

"I'm sure you would," she teased. "But I'm good for now. Try to contain your disappointnt."

They approached the next house on their list, another potential Cursed nim hopefully still alive inside. lisa stepped up to the door, her hand raised to knock.

The door suddenly swung open.

Ti seed to slow down.

lisa's eyes widened as she registered the hooded figure on the other side. The glint of a blade appeared in her view.

[Shit-]

Pain exploded in her abdon as the Shadow Mage's dagger found its mark.

lisa gasped. She fell back, her mind struggling to process what was happening.

"LISA!" Isabella scread.

lisa felt herself being yanked backward, her legs giving out as she collapsed onto the street. She pressed a hand to her wound, feeling warm blood seeping between her fingers.

[This... this can't be happening...]

Through blurring vision, she saw Isabella spring into action.

The kitsune's hands were already moving, tracing complex patterns in the air as she unleashed a barrage of spells.

"Ventus, spirare, defendere!" Isabella shouted, a whirlwind erging from the wand she brought with her to deflect oncoming magical attacks, as the Shadow Mage stepped back to fight.

Then, shifting his montum, the Shadow Mage who had stabbed lisa leapt forward. Isabella ducked under the first swing, countering with a swift kick to the mage's midsection. It didn't seem to do much more than push the man back, but it gave Isabella enough room to cast:

"Ignis, core, protev in!" A shield of fla sprung up around Isabella, forcing the Shadow Mage to retreat. This was one of the spells lisa had invented, which she'd shown to her kitsune friend.

But as Isabella pressed her advantage, more hooded figures erged from behind them. They had been waiting, hidden, for this mont.

In truth, lisa felt she should have seen it coming. The sudden vacancy of the street, how things got quieter and quieter, but she'd admittedly lowered her guard.

[A trap,] lisa realized, her thoughts hazy with pain and shock. [They set a fucking trap for us.]

Isabella's eyes darted between the encroaching enemies, her tail bristling with tension.

"Ignis, moro var can!" she cried, sending a volley of fla projectiles at the approaching mages.

Two went down, their robes smoldering. But there were more. Too many.

This was clearly not a spur-of-the-mont thing.

One Shadow Mage slipped past Isabella's defenses, his fist connecting with her jaw. Isabella stumbled. lisa swore she'd been knocked out but it looked like she regained consciousness just before she would have hit the ground, flipping back, blood trickling from her split lip.

lisa watched in horror as her friend was slowly overwheld.

She needed to do sothing. Anything.

[Get a grip,] she told herself, gritting her teeth against the pain. [Help her.]

lisa closed her eyes, reaching up and drawing a spellsign.

"Vita r mol, carim sier," she whispered, her voice weak but determined. A basic healing spell. Nothing as powerful as the one she'd invented, but she didn't want to risk using up too much Essence. The point of healing herself now was to get into a fight, after all.

A warm glow suffused her body. The pain began to recede, replaced by an itching sensation as her accelerated healing took effect.

lisa opened her eyes, her vision clearing. The wound wasn't fully healed, it was still regenerating, but it would do for now.

She struggled to her feet.

"Hey, assholes!" lisa shouted, her voice hoarse but strong.

The Shadow Mages turned, surprise evident in their body language. Clearly, they hadn't expected her to recover so quickly.

lisa's hands were already moving.

"Illumi, nerca, var fal!" she cried out.

A sphere of blue fla flew through the air, cutting past Isabella, and crashing into one of the Shadow Mages.

"AAAAH!" He cried out. Once again, lisa had no clue why this spell hurt so much, but she was glad it did.

Isabella, seizing the opportunity, unleashed another barrage of spells.

"Glacies, tempestas, fulmina!" A storm of ice shards suddenly filled the air. The Shadow Mages were frozen in place, not knowing who to go after first.

lisa and Isabella moved in tandem. Spheres of blue fla and shards of sharp ice pushed the Shadow Mages back.

The battle raged on, spells flying in all directions. The Shadow Mages couldn't get near them, and anyone who tried to respond through magic was repelled through parries and had their force returned to them tenfold.

Finally, after what felt like hours but was likely only minutes, silence fell.

lisa breathed heavily. The street was littered with unconscious or groaning Shadow Mages. Most had either been burned to death by lisa's strange spell or impaled by Isabella's ice.

All except one.

lisa advanced on the last standing mage, her eyes blazing with barely contained fury.

"You," she growled, grabbing the front of the mage's robes. "You're coming with us."
