"Wait, were you worried about ?" Wu Tang asked, as he gave her a aningful smile.
Tang i cleared her throat awkwardly.
"Who said I was worried about you? I was only worried about my son, Tang Ni, you can co in," Tang i was quick to take her face away from Wu Tang as she pulled Tang Ni to herself.
Wu Tang chuckled while watching her walk away. He found it funny because it was obvious Tang i was trying to deny that she was not worried about him.
Wu Tang shook his head before he followed into the mansion.
"Where have you been? You have no idea how worried I was, I called your school, but they did not give
a proper response, you made
so worried," once Wu Tang walked in, he noticed that Tang i was questioning Tang Ni.
Tang Ni imdiately turned to look at Wu Tang once he noticed him, and in return, Wu Tang nodded at him.
"You have no reason to be worried, Mom, dad and I decided to spend so quality ti with each other," Tang Ni lied.
Wu Tang and Tang Ni had agreed to tell this to Tang i. They could not allow her to find out that he was kidnapped, or she would be more worried.
"Are you sure?" Tang i asked. For so reason, she felt that he was keeping the truth away from her.
"Of course Mom, you can ask dad, I had so much fun today, and I am exhausted, has dinner been prepared?" Tang Ni asked childishly, which caused Tang i to be confused.
"I prepared dinner myself, would you have dumplings?" Tang i smiled.
"Yes, but for now, I need to freshen up, I stink," Tang Ni stated dramatically as he rushed to his room, leaving both his parents in the living room.
The atmosphere turned awkward imdiately.
"I will go set the table," Tang i spoke awkwardly as she walked away from the living room.
The maids secretly laughed. This was the first ti they were seeing Tang i so flustered. They had no idea whether they should burst out laughing or not.
Wu Tang, on the other hand, smiled on seeing her look so flustered. There was sothing about her which attracted him to her.
Actually, Tang i was not a bad person. She might have tried several ans to get together with Li Qiang, even going as far as trying to murder Xin Yan, but it could not be denied that she had so good left in her.
It was up to her to utilize it properly, so she could have a complete family with her son. Perhaps, she could fall in love with Li Qiang.

Gu’s Mansion>
Today was the day both parents and daughter decided to have a DNA test done.
Gu Shishi was in her room when her phone rang. It was a call from Lu Wei. She imdiately picked it up, perhaps, a call from him was what she needed.
She did not notice that the way she looked at Lu Wei had changed.
"Hello," Gu Shishi said after the call had been connected, she had a smile on her face.
"Gu Shishi, I am glad you can pick the call, don’t you realize today is a big day for both of us, does this an we are ant for each other?" Lu Wei joked, but his words had a hint of seriousness in it.
Gu Shishi was unable to catch what he ant. Instead, she was confused about what he ant by saying both of them had sothing serious to attend to today.
"What do you an by that?" Gu Shishi asked, she wanted to clear her doubt.
Lu Wei, who was in his apartnt, rose from his sofa as he looked out the window. His lips tilted to the other side, as he opened his mouth to say;
"Today, you will have your DNA test results done, you will find out if your father is actually your father, as for , the illegitimate child of the Lu Family, I would be appointed as the acting CEO, I know that as from today, our lives would not be as peaceful as we hoped it would be."
Lu Wei explained to her, and she listened quietly. The only sound which could be heard was the sound of their breathing.
They did not bother to say anything. Instead, they listened quietly to each other’s heartbeats.
"I would have to go now, I wish both of us good luck, and I hope the outco of today won’t ruin our usual happiness, and smiles," Gu Shishi finally spoke up which broke the silence.
"Goodbye," Lu Wei said, and the call got disconnected.
Gu Shishi held the phone to her chest as her face blood with a smile.
"Shishi, are you ready? The entire family is waiting for you," Gu Shishi’s beautiful thoughts were ruined by a knock on the door which brought her out of her beautiful reverie.
She sighed, before replying that she was on her way.

"Are you ready?" Gu Fen smiled when she noticed Gu Shishi.
Gu Shishi, who was not used to the intimate gestures took a step back, before nodding.
Gu Fen, who was always sensitive, noticed it, and her mood turned sour, although she did not allow anyone to notice.
"Shall we leave?" She asked with a smile, and they nodded. The ’they’ included Gu Shishi, and her father, Gu Guan.
"Give us good news when you return, goodbye," Grandma Gu waved, to which Gu Shishi waved in return.
"I hope everything cos out positive," Grandma Gu prayed as she clasped her palms together.
"It would," Grandpa Gu assured her as he looked at the two brothers who stood there awkwardly.
"We would be taking our leave now," Gu Leng stated, as he pulled his brother alongside him to his room.

City Hospital>
The three finally arrived at the hospital, and Gu Shishi looked around. This was an attempt to ease herself from the fear she felt within her.
"Mr and Mrs. Gu?" One of the nurses approached them, and they nodded, indicating they were the ones she was referring to.
"Good, the doctor awaits your presence, please, follow ," the nurse was friendly as she directed them to the doctor’s office.
