After the holiday, once they finished their last translation order, Xu Nianhua and her friends gathered to split the money!
Since the studio opened, they had received fifteen orders, all through people they knew. Last ti, each person got twenty dollars, but today’s money splitting was really aningful.
"Wanwan, let’s work it out, expenses and inco," Xu Nianhua asked Zhou Wanwan to bring out the ledger.
Fei Jiayi took out the money, a stack of it, which was quite considerable in amount.
Fei Jiayi and Liao Jinling’s families had always been wealthy, so they didn’t think much of it.
But it was different for Ding Guo and Chang Hui. Ding Guo’s family ran a small shop and was sowhat used to seeing money. Chang Hui, who ca from the least affluent family in the dorm, was seeing this much money for the first ti.
Oh, no, ever since Xu Nianhua and the others introduced the business of selling tea, Chang Hui had seen quite a lot of money. However, that was her parents’ money, so she didn’t feel much about it. Now, this money included her share, and she had earned it herself.
Zhou Wanwan kept very detailed accounts. The money they received for orders was counted as total inco. Subtracting the money they divided last ti, there was still exactly three hundred dollars left. Plus, on Saturdays and Sundays, they often were too busy to eat, eating nearby despite being frugal, which was another expense among others like paper etc.
After calculating all that, there was still two hundred sixty dollars left.
"Nianhua, we’ve decided, half of the money is yours, and the other half, we five will split equally," Fei Jiayi said after calculating the money, directly assigning one hundred thirty dollars to Xu Nianhua and dividing the remaining twenty-six dollars each among the others.
"No way."
Xu Nianhua rejected it without a second thought, saying, "We agreed to split it equally among all of us."
