"Nianhua, they say, ’A single day apart feels like an eternity,’ so if we don’t see each other for an entire sumr vacation, who knows how many eternities that would be!"
Strangely, Xu Nianhua could detect a sense of grievance in Pei Yicheng’s words.
"Two months will fly by in no ti," Xu Nianhua said, counting on her fingers. "Look, we’re at the sa school now, and we haven’t seen each other for half a month. Missing each other twice a month isn’t much."
"Who counts like you do?"
Pei Yicheng looked at the fingers she extended and grabbed them, lifting her hand to gently scrape her nose and said, "You heartless thing!"

Xu Nianhua pursed her lips and glanced aside. The car was parked next to the school gate; they stood by the car, perfectly blocking the outside view. Behind her stood large trees, their shadows elongated by the dim streetlights, with not a single person in sight.
"No way, a gift once given can’t be taken back," said Pei Yicheng imdiately. His gaze fell on her jeans. Did she actually bring a gift?
"Then..." Xu Nianhua’s eyes twirled as she said, "Close your eyes, and I’ll perform a magic trick.
"OK."
Without another word, Pei Yicheng closed his eyes.
Moonlight mixed with the streetlight fell on his face, casting a shadow beneath his eyelids that blurred his features. Only his prominent nose stood out sharply and handsoly under this light.
Xu Nianhua looked around and then tiptoed forward, whispering, "You mustn’t open your eyes, otherwise, the magic won’t work."
While speaking, she waved her hand in front of him to make sure he couldn’t see. Then, gathering her courage, she tiptoed and leaned in to kiss his cheek, saying, "Good luck."
Like a dragonfly skimming the water, Xu Nianhua took off running before he could react, waving at him and saying, "I believe in you, you’ll definitely make it."
She shouted these words as she ran. Seeing him standing there, dumbfounded, her laughter rang out like silver bells. Suddenly recalling sothing, she stopped under a streetlight, squatted slightly, and raised both hands to form a heart.
With a sweet smile and her hands forming a heart, she looked so adorable.
Only after she had vanished at the school gate did Pei Yicheng co back to his senses. He touched his cheek, his lips slowly curving upwards.
Nianhua, I will not let you down. I believe that my designs will be accepted by everyone.
Pei Yicheng got back into his car, planning to return to the architectural school to keep working on his revisions. He was determined to co up with the most perfect design.

Ti flowed away like water, and in the blink of an eye, it was already mid-June, and sumr vacation was just around the corner.
"Nianhua, do you want to co stay at my place over the sumr vacation? It’s so boring living there by myself," Pei Yining begged, shaking Xu Nianhua’s hand. Her brother, Pei Yicheng, had told her several tis to think of ways to get Xu Nianhua to stay.
"Nianhua, look, there’s nothing for you to do if you go back, so why not stay here? We can go shopping in the city. How about that?"
"Nianhua..."
When Pei Yining started chatting, there was no stopping her. Even Xu Nianhua, a woman herself, couldn’t help but think, with Yining’s ability to act so coquettishly, which man could stand it in the future?
