The small room grew tense, the air thick with a sense of looming weight.

Evernight turned her back to him. Her expression softened into sothing serene, almost distant.

Then, in a lancholic tone, she spoke.

"It’s ti for you to make a choice, Igaris."

He raised an eyebrow, instinctively sensing that sothing ancient was about to be revealed.

He didn’t interrupt. He simply listened as she continued.

"A long, long ti ago—before the collapse of the Summoners—ten thousand years in the past, in my holand known as the God’s Realm, the Seven Pri Gods ca together. They planned to bestow humanity with divine gifts. Through their will, the Divine Arts were born. These Arts allowed humans to form bonds with Spirit Beasts from the Spirit Realm.

It was a unanimous decision among the Seven Pri Deities. We, the Angels—children of the gods—had no say in their affairs.

Soon, the integration began on Ashvale. It was divine intervention in every sense. The humans, who had once lived ordinary peacefully among nature, suddenly found the ans to grow stronger using the Divine Arts.

That mont marked the true beginning of the Age of Summoners. Yes, Real Summoners. Back then, humans could directly contract Spirit Beasts from the Spirit Realm using Divine Arts. Not like now, where people scavenge and ta the diluted bloodlines and weakened descendants of those creatures."

"Ohh..." Igaris let out a voice of intrigue. The revelation stirred sothing within him.

She continued, her voice now carrying the weight of sorrow.

"But that was also the beginning of injustice and division. Nearly half of humanity couldn’t awaken the Spirit Core needed to bond with Spirit Beasts. And so they fell behind—exploited, bullied, and even enslaved by the empowered Summoners.

Their lives were taken needlessly. Their families were broken. For them, Ashvale beca a living hell. What was ant to be a divine blessing turned into a curse."

"So, in the end, the plan backfired. Ashvale was never ant to beco a land of chaos and destruction. But even as it fell into ruin, the Seven Pri Divinities did nothing to stop it. They could have. They had the power to intervene. But they chose not to.

Why? Because they were getting exactly what they wanted: the unwavering faith and worship of the Summoners... and the desperate cries of the powerless.

More than anything, they found entertainnt in it all. After millennia of stagnant boredom, they enjoyed watching the rise and fall of mortals."

Her voice had risen to a chilling edge. By the ti she spat the final words, it was no longer just sorrow or anger, it was hatred. Pure and ancient.

"So, what happened after that? How did the Perfect Society rise?" Igaris asked with curiosity.

Evernight turned back to face him, her eyes brimming with emotion.

"Then, a simple yet extraordinary man was born in the God Realm. He possessed a pair of eyes unlike any other. Eyes that gifted him with unparalleled intelligence. He wasn’t physically strong as them, but his mind... his mind was unmatched.

He was the Architect.

The man who created , from both Darkness and Light.

The man I call Father.

He carried a sense of justice that no other being held.

And so, he chose to beco salvation for the weak. He forged a new path, a thod that allowed even those without Spirit Core to grow strong, by using chas, powered through a soul-linked system."

"Naturally, the Pri Seven didn’t take it well. As the Summoners’ faith in them began to diminish, the Architect’s influence grew. He was on the verge of gaining more devotion than all of them combined, jeopardizing their status in the God Realm."

"But with his unmatched intelligence, the Perfect Society was built slowly and thodically, hidden in the shadows for a thousand years. Then, one day, they erged.

From that mont on, the Age of Summoners began to decline. Slowly, but inevitably.

The turning point ca when he sealed the Spirit Realm and God Realm from Ashvale. He did it using his own creations, four Primordial chas, ancient machines that still remain active to this day. He couldn’t destroy the Gods, but he stopped the Summoners’ oppression."

Her voice trembled with grief as she continued.

"However, In the end, even he couldn’t escape their wrath. He fell to their rciless assault. And I... I ended up sealed in stone."

Her voice cracked, and her eyes shimred with unshed tears, on the verge of breaking.

Igaris couldn’t help but feel a little sad, seeing the sorrow etched into her expression. Only now did he begin to understand how much she had endured just to be here.

Pain. Anguish. Even those words might fall short of describing her story. For a long, excruciating ti, she had been utterly alone. Helpless.

More than anything, he found himself amazed by the story of the Architect. The man was nothing short of mind-blowing. A Miracle.

To go against the Gods, alone, was simply unthinkable.

And yet, he had done it. He had defeated them—if only partially—and shown the weak a different path, a way to rise without chains.

If everything she said was true, then the Architect was a figure worthy of the deepest respect.

After wiping her tears away, Evernight asked,

"So, what will you choose? Now that you possess my father’s eyes, those people will co for you too."

Igaris frowned. "What do you an? Didn’t you say they’ve been sealed just now? So how would they co?"

"It’s just a guess, but if the Freedom Force is preparing to attack the Perfect Society, they must be confident for a reason. Maybe the seal has weakened or malfunctioned. Maybe... they’re already free as we speak. You understand what this ans, don’t you?" Evernight said with utmost seriousness.

"You’re possibly in the enemy’s den right now."

Igaris paused for a mont, the weight of her words settling in. The situation was growing far more grave than he had imagined.

"Alright. I understand. I’ve heard your story, your goal. Now it’s ti I tell you mine."
