On Kranos’s end, after chasing Rose for a few ters, he finally caught up. Without any hesitation, his figure flashed and appeared in front of her. His sword moved quickly, heading for her head. Rose was shocked; however, fortunately, she had reached a forest with dense trees.
With a smirk, her thoughts moved rapidly, and countless branches erged to block Kranos’s sword strike.

In an instant, Kranos’s sword strike was stopped. At the sa ti, countless more branches headed towards him, aiming to shred him to pieces. However, Kranos’s expression didn’t change. Using the space elent, he vanished from the spot and appeared atop the branch of a tree.
"Eternal Hunger, it’s ti to feed wildly once more." Gazing down at the many trees in front of him, Kranos muttered. He felt that after destroying all these trees, Eternal Hunger would definitely advance to a new level.
Just as he was slightly lost in thought, the branch beneath his feet started to wriggle slightly. With a swing of his hand, he slashed it apart, and the next mont it rapidly turned to dust and vanished.

Ignoring the ssage from the system, Kranos continued to slash at the trees rapidly. Rose was stunned and stared at Kranos as though he was an idiot. Even if he cut the trees apart, she could still control them, did he not realize that? She knew Kranos wasn’t that dumb to ignore that fact.
However, just as she was staring at Kranos who was destroying all the branches with a frown, her expression changed drastically. Most of the branches that Kranos cut apart were quickly withering to dust. "What kind of ability is that??" she was terrified.
She suddenly recalled the feeling of her lifeforce being drained away a mont ago when Kranos had stabbed her. At this, her expression turned, and she stared at Eternal Hunger with a terrified expression. "Your sword destroys lifespan? It absorbs ti!!!"
Just as Kranos was battling, rapidly destroying all the trees, he heard Rose’s words. The next mont, his expression changed drastically. Kranos wore an expression he never had before; his face contained a terrifying gloom that even the heavens would shiver at the sight of.
He slowly walked away from the encirclent of trees... The words that Rose had said were continuously ringing in his mind: it absorbs ti!... it absorbs ti!... it absorbs ti!
His expression beca calr by the second. Ti, huh? This was the first person to realize that he had a ti-related ability. Even if he had to exhaust himself, Kranos decided he would never let her leave alive! Noticing Kranos’s expression, Rose imdiately felt sothing was wrong.
The way Kranos was looking at her was... calm? It was as though she wasn’t his opponent anymore, as though he was... no longer interested in fighting? Then what does he want to do? Her intuition was imdiately blaring with a sense of danger. Upon sensing that, Rose didn’t even think twice about running away. She felt staying in the encirclent of trees was no longer safe.
Just as she decided on that, she made her way to escape. Using all her mana, she controlled the thousands of trees in the forest. Just as Kranos was about to chase her, he noticed his whole surroundings turn dark... the whole sky was bloated as well. In an instant, he was subrged beneath the trees.
Seeing that, Rose was overjoyed. She knew that Kranos couldn’t escape such an encirclent easily. The dense trees had already occupied every teleportation spot; besides, the trees had also blocked every range of teleportation he could reach! Even if he could succeed in escaping in the end, it would take hours! By then, she would have already left this place with Desmond.
Rose’s smile widened greatly; however, just as she was overjoyed, a cold light flashed. A figure had silently appeared behind her. Her smile stiffened, and her head slowly tilted to the side. Kranos caught the still smiling head and placed it slowly beside the body that fell with a thud.
He cupped his fist and muttered, "Rest in peace!"
At the sa ti, his expression was extrely pale. He glanced at the notification from the system.

Previously, when he was encircled by the trees, Kranos knew that this was his only chance to kill Rose. He couldn’t let her escape! With that, he imdiately thought of a new ti ability.

He succeeded in everything; however, what was the cost? 100,000 ti points gone! All the ti points he had gathered so far had seemingly vanished into thin air. But Kranos didn’t care, as long as she’s dead! His expression was calm as he stored Eternal Hunger in the system space and walked away.
He was heading to Kathryn’s part of the battlefield to take a look. Kranos had decided he would only look from a distance; if things weren’t going well for her, he would quickly leave. He didn’t want to endanger his life after all.
With a few strides, Kranos appeared at the battlefield. Imdiately, he was shocked! Both cultivators were fighting a fierce battle. Desmond seed like he was controlling a weapon, while flas blossod on Kathryn’s hand.
At a glance, Kranos realized that the flas were extraordinary from their deep green color. The battle was extrely terrifying, and the trees a few ters away from them had all been destroyed...
In the battle, Desmond swung the Soul Devouring Spear at Kathryn; however, with a sidestep, she dodged the spear. Since she was coated with flas, although Desmond’s attacks were invisible, she was able to pinpoint its location.
As Desmond retreated, just as he was about to attack once again, he paused and quickly dodged to the side. He heard a whistling sound, and the next mont, an arrow pierced where he previously stood.
