"Princess of the Elven Kingdom, why do you interfere in the matters of us humans?" Desmond frowned as he asked.
"I just find this young man pleasing to my eyes, why can’t I interfere?" Kathryn retorted.
At her words, Kranos was stunned. When did he beco pleasing to the sight? Looking at her thin figure, he couldn’t help but mutter inwardly, She’s probably old enough to be my granddaughter. Desmond was stunned; however, his expression soon changed to that of a ferocious beast.
Since he had decided to complete the mission, he would not allow Kathryn to stop him. He didn’t believe the princess of the Elven Kingdom was that strong. Besides, even if she was strong, with his two unique elents, there was no way he would lose.
As soon as his thoughts reached this point, he turned into a shadow and blended into the darkness.
At this, Kathryn’s expression turned serious. "Take care of the lady, I will handle Desmond." She knew that at Kranos’s current level of strength, he stood no chance against Desmond. Although his space elent was terrifying, his strength was insufficient.
Kranos gave Kathryn a deep look before nodding at her words, then rushing towards Rose. At this mont, Rose was no longer as injured. Although her complexion was pale, she had taken a dicinal pill, and her injury was gone.
Seeing Kranos rush after her, her expression changed drastically. She was no match for Kranos, and with the fact that he had restored his space elent, she would definitely be killed without knowing what happened. She imdiately ran into the forest, particularly to a location of dense trees.
The higher the number of trees, the greater her strength would increase.
anwhile, just as Kranos chased after Rose, he felt a chill. He quickly realized that Desmond had targeted him again. However, this ti he was calr. He just quickly teleported out of sight. However, just before he could vanish, he saw a streak of white light, then the shadowy figure was blasted into a tree a few ters away.
He was stunned. So fast? He turned to Kathryn. He realized that she was the one who attacked. He finally understood the extent of this Elven Princess’s strength.
"Go. Handle the lady, I’ll deal with him," she reassured once again.
Kranos no longer worried about her safety. In a flash, he disappeared, rapidly chasing after Rose.
As soon as Kranos left, a few ters away, a figure slowly stood up. His expression was unsightly as he looked at Kathryn.
But Kathryn just glanced at him coldly, then said, "Use your second elent or you won’t even last 3 moves against !"
Desmond was instantly shocked by her words; he stared at her as though he was seeing a ghost. Everyone knew he had awakened the A-grade Shadow elental affinity. But what no one knew was the fact that after the awakening ceremony, he had a late awakening and awakened a second elent.
One which he had never told anyone about! Staring at Kathryn, his expression turned solemn. He could sense a mysterious aura from the elf in front of him. At a glance, he could tell that this Elven Princess was no ordinary person.
"As you wish." Desmond’s face turned tranquil. He no longer had the arrogance or anger from before. His figure quickly dissolved into a thin shadow. Using Kathryn’s shadow, he appeared silently behind her. At the sa ti, a formless attack surfaced in his hand.
With a slash, he sent the attack hurling towards her at close distance. Kathryn’s expression remained the sa as she slowly raised her hand while muttering a few words. Mana flowed through her verdant immortal veins.
The next mont, a ball of scorching hot flas erged from her palm. Even though she couldn’t see the strange attack, she could roughly ascertain where it was.
Bang!
Her attack seed to have co in contact with sothing solid. As both attacks collided, the explosion sent them both reeling a few ters back. Desmond was stunned and looked at Kathryn deeply. A fire attack? He had read about the elves and knew that through their verdant veins and spells, they could cast a variety of elental attacks.
But a normal fire shouldn’t have canceled out my attack! Desmond frowned for a bit before a certain word erged in his mind. "You possess a divine fla?!" he scread in shock.
One had to know that a divine fla was sothing of the divine world; no ordinary person could co across it. It was almost impossible for it to be in the Immortal World! Besides a divine fla, he couldn’t think of anything that could cancel out soul attacks.
That’s right! Desmond’s second elent was the Soul elent! As it directly targeted the soul, it was impossible for normal elents to defend against it. Besides, his elental affinity wasn’t the normal A-grade; rather, he had surprisingly awakened the soul elent at the S-grade!!!
Because of this, he had been able to silently assassinate everyone. Even in the headquarters, he was one of the greatest geniuses they had encountered. Of course, it was only because of his battle achievents, which was a solid hundred percent. They had attributed it to his shadow elent, as they didn’t know he possessed the soul elent.
Imdiately, Desmond no longer hid his strength. A mysterious light flashed, and an object appeared in his hand.
Soul Devouring Spear!
Kathryn’s expression turned solemn as she stared at the spear. Only she knew how horrifying this spear truly was! With a thought, she muttered so incomprehensible words. Mana flowed through her verdant immortal veins, and the next mont, a pillar of fla shot out towards Desmond.
This pillar of fla was extrely thick! In the blink of an eye, it appeared in front of Desmond. Not underestimating the attack, Desmond struck at it fiercely with the Soul Devouring Spear.
Imdiately, an invisible light flashed in his hand. From afar, it looked as though he was just swinging his hand, but the next mont, the attack exploded with a bang. Desmond’s expression changed slightly as he realized the strength of this attack. Without a second thought, his figure blended into the shadow of a tree nearby.
Bang!
An extrely terrifying explosion occurred the mont he left the location. With a flash, his figure erged from the shadow of the tree...
