“It looks like it’s and you now, Mr. Tunwa. Now it’s one-on-one?”

Miguel still tried to provoke him. Tunwa put his hands on his hips and let out a long sigh.

“Do I really have to do this?” He murmured.

“Looks like it.” Miguel grinned. “Because the situation’s changed.”

“Damn it.”

BOOM!!

On the other side, the explosions continued. The thick flas terrifyingly gushed up high. The damages multiplied after the beasts ca running into the battle.

“Damn it! What an annoying fire bull!”

The man swore while dodging the attacks from Ifrit. It was so bad that if he got hit, it would be long hospital nights for him!

Crash!!

A mont later, thunder struck in the middle of the field. Nero rolled on the ground to evade it.

“What is this woman doing? How many beasts does she want to summon?!”

Nero shouted while glancing at the girl.

There were now four beasts surrounding her and glaring at him as if to devour him whole.

“Ifrit, Lightharbor, Lunarius, Startic Golem, and the weapon beast Lovenklein. This is not a fortress, it’s a cannon turret.”

He complained and flicked his hand to cast a spell. Hundreds of red threads ca out of his back and rushed towards Ifrit. At that mont, another beast interfered between them. It was a cute moon beast with light blue skin and golden hair. She frowned tightly and guarded Nero’s attack with her hands!

In the blink of an eye, every red thread stopped in front of the female beast. They began to spiral and were compressed into a ball. Then Lunarius pushed the massive energy ball back. Nero opened his eyes widely!

Bloody Wall

BOOM!!

168,993

Nero guarded with a defensive spell just in ti. Even so, it still did a good damage on him. Blood seeped out of his mouth!

“It’s useless, Mr. Nero. No matter what it is, Luna can take them all. She can both absorb and reflect your spell.”

The sweet voice seed provocative. Her green eyes still sparkled.

“Even with the two of you, you can’t go against these children. And you’re just a lone lowly magician.”

Nero gritted his teeth so tightly and glanced at his partner, who was lying unconscious on the ground. He had hundreds of light swords stuck in him and looked like a cactus.

Yes...

Mr. Allen had fallen.

It was in a flash.

Once she got close to him, she used her final blow to kill him right away without rcy. What a scary girl. She was not only keen on fighting, but she also possessed everything that a leader should have!

Maybe she was even better than Vincent!

Nero clicked his tongue and looked around. He realized that his winning chance was dim. The beasts did not allow him to escape and Waree was slowly squeezing him as if she was looking for a chance to finish the job in a single blow.

What should I do?

Should I unseal my power?

However, Viola was not here just yet. If I did that now, would the plan be ruined? He would die if he did not do it, though. This girl was unexpected. He was not her equal opponent at all right now. What should I do?!

No!

Aaron and Emilia had already released their 100% power. If he did, the leader’s Alice would go haywire. Mr. Allen also followed the plan without unsealing it. Damn it! We had already predicted it all! What the hell had these kids been doing?!

“You look lost, Mr. Nero.” Waree smiled. “Is it because you’re not good at one-on-one combat that you don’t know what to do? If so, should I do that for you?”

Suddenly, Ifrit ran towards Nero. He opened his eyes widely. In the blink of an eye, the bull reached him. It raised its claws and slashed at him with all its might.

Crash!!

Nero could barely dodge it. The air where the claws hit was cut and went in flas. Even though Nero evaded it, there was a small cat with four tails that was dashing at him. There were electrical sparks on its feet.

“Shit! How is this a one-on-one?!!”

Nero scread before guarding himself with a magic shield again. The sparks that gushed out of the cat hit the shield and the whole area was covered in a bright light!

“My children are my power. That ans we’re still fighting one-on-one, Mr. Nero.”

Suddenly, a sweet voice sounded behind Nero again. He pressed his lips tightly before flicking his magic shield out and evading the other way. At that mont, a sharp blade parted the air and slashed on his chest. A lot of blood and damage were forced out at the sa ti.

The pain ran through him. He dropped to his knees. His rough hand touched the wound on his chest and found that it was pretty deep. He looked at the girl. Waree reached his back without him knowing it again. This speed did not belong to a magician at all!

“You’re so good at evading, Mr. Nero. It looks like you’re more of a defensive type?”

She did not hide the sarcasm in her voice. Instead of being provoked, Nero smiled. The man did not give in.

“Or is it because you’re not accurate enough?”

Nero said. Waree let out a laugh.

“Maybe.” She said. “I haven’t put all my might into any of the attacks. To put it simply, if I may say, I don’t have to do that, Mr. Nero.”

The man was halted by those words. A smile was on his face, yet his veins started to pop out.

“I’m guessing this is an insult?” Nero adjusted his glasses.

“Not at all.” Waree slowly closed her eyes. “...It’s confidence.”

“Huh?”

“My job’s been done since I took care of Mr. Allen. For you, I don’t have to waste my ti. I only need to stall for so ti and that’s it since the one who’ll be taking care of you isn’t .”

“What?”

Nero frowned. He did not understand.

Suddenly, his nerves got so stretched that his body twitched. He opened his eyes widely and broke a sweat.

“She’s saying that the one who’ll cut your head off is .”

“....!!”

Nero was startled. It was too late when he realized it. He turned back and the man with the sa eye color was there. The man was raising his weapon up high. It was too fast to do anything!

Grand Cross

3,752,330

“Agh!!”

The magician got slashed in the chest again. It was more severe this ti. The wound was in the form of a big cross. His blood flowed out like a fountain. He was about to fall unconscious.

“H... How? H... How did you get away from my trap?”

Nero could barely talk. He slowly looked up at the man.

The crusader stared at him. His lavender eyes and lips were nonchalant. Shindanai sighed softly. He put his hand with the weapon down and raised his left hand up.

What Nero saw was a black ring on his middle finger. The ring was carved with a golden crown. More importantly, a blue fla was gushing out of it.

“The King’s Ring? Y... You...”
