Tapu Fini didn’t want to keep talking to Julian and tossed sothing at him.

tagross tried to intercept it, but seeing that it posed no threat, it stopped.

Julian caught the object that Tapu Fini had thrown.

Julian: “What’s this thing for?”

He looked at the item in his hand. It looked like a seashell, about half the size of his palm.

Tapu Fini: “It’s a token of your victory over .”

Julian suddenly understood: “So, if I beat you, you give a normal seashell?”

According to his Probing Eyes, this so-called token was just an ordinary shell. Julian strongly suspected Tapu Fini had randomly picked it up off the beach.

There was still sand stuck to it.

Tapu Fini’s expression froze for a mont, but it responded calmly: “This item will be of great use to you in the future. Its mysterious power is sothing you don’t understand.”

Julian didn’t say anything, just quietly watched Tapu Fini put on airs. If he didn’t have the Probing Eyes, he might’ve actually been fooled by the nonsense.

He casually tossed the shell into his pocket.

Seeing Julian didn’t press further, Tapu Fini secretly let out a sigh of relief. Then it turned to Pierce and the others: “If any of you wish to challenge , you may begin now.”

Only then did Julian notice that this guy’s injuries and stamina had fully recovered while they were talking.

This level of recovery was on par with a First-class legendary.

As expected of an island guardian—it was definitely not sothing simple.

Julian translated Tapu Fini’s words for Pierce and the others.

The four of them all shook their heads in unison, indicating they didn’t want to challenge it.

With their current strength, they might be able to take on a peak Elite, but going up against a mid-tier pseudo-Champion like Tapu Fini was completely out of reach.

And that final move, Mist, was sothing they had no way of countering.

Even if their strength surpassed Tapu Fini’s later on, if they still couldn’t deal with the Mist, getting trapped in it could easily lead to defeat.

So, the best plan now was to explore the island for resources, improve their strength, and co back to challenge Tapu Fini later.

“Tapu Fini, I want to ask, are all the people who ca from the outside world on this island?” Pierce asked.

Across all the countries, including Drakoria, a total of 100 Trainers had entered the secret realm, and everyone had been randomly teleported to so part of it.

But now this Top-tier secret realm seed more unusual than any he’d heard of before.

So Pierce wondered, could it be that everyone had been randomly placed on this island?

Tapu Fini shook its head: “You outsiders were split among the four islands. On this island of mine, twenty-one people arrived. I believe two of them just died.”

As the guardian deity of this island, Tapu Fini knew it like the back of its hand. It even knew the exact number of people who had entered the island—right down to the fact that two had died.

And those two who died were clearly the two trainers that Julian and the others had taken out.

Once again, Julian acted as the translator.

At the sa ti, he gave Tapu Fini a slightly disdainful look. 'A guardian deity of the island that doesn’t even know how to use telepathy? Pathetic.'

Upon learning that 21 trainers had arrived on this island and now only 19 remained. Excluding the five of them, that ant there were still 14 other trainers on the island.

This information was extrely valuable at this stage. At the very least, they now knew that there were 14 trainers from other countries on this island.

Though they still didn’t know if any of those were from nations friendly with Drakoria.

“If the secret realm’s exit is on this island, then doesn’t that an the trainers on the other islands won’t be able to leave unless they defeat their island’s guardian?” Asher suddenly said.

Rowan gave him a sideways glance and said flatly, “You just realized that? Well, considering your IQ, I’m actually impressed you even got that far.”

“Shut up.”

Asher glared at Rowan. 'Would it kill you not to mock for a single day?'

But Asher was right—since the secret realm’s exit was on their island, that ant the trainers who had been sent to the other three islands would have to defeat their island’s guardian in order to leave.

And considering those guardians were all mid-stage pseudo-Champions, unless they were freakishly strong like Julian, the chances of anyone defeating them were incredibly slim, even if they gathered resources from the island and made a break through.

In the end, those capable of defeating the island guardians would be very few.

Even if they managed to defeat the guardians and leave their islands, it was still a question whether they could find the exit of the secret realm.

After all, Julian’s group had already hidden the exit well. It was buried deep and securely hidden.

So trying to locate the exit might be even harder than beating the guardians.

What was already a hell-difficulty secret realm had now beco sothing closer to an 'impossible-difficulty' dungeon, with the added island guardians and hidden exit.

The only advantage Pierce and the others had was that they knew where the exit was. That alone gave them an unbeatable edge.

“So you’re saying everyone from the outside is spread across these four islands. Then… what about that one in the middle?” Julian pointed toward the small island located at the center of the four main islands.

The one he had always assud was Aether Paradise.

Tapu Fini's gaze suddenly grew deep and distant as it spoke: "That island in the center is where Solgaleo and Lunala slumber. A hundred years ago, a great catastrophe struck. In order to protect the four surrounding islands, they sacrificed themselves and have been in deep sleep ever since."

"We, the four guardian deities, were given our roles during their slumber—we were entrusted with the duty to guard the islands. That's how I am able to borrow the island's power."

"But don’t tell the other humans about this. I don’t trust them."

Julian was stunned and asked telepathically, "Then why are you telling ? Is it because I have the power of Aura?"

Humans who possessed the power of Aura, among Pokémon, that’s basically like having the words ‘I’m a good guy’ carved onto them.

Tapu Fini looked at Julian, its expression suddenly beca enigmatic: "You’ll understand later."

Julian: 'There it goes again, putting on airs.'

In fact, even Tapu Fini didn’t know why it trusted Julian, whom it had just t, and told him the biggest secret of this secret realm.

It didn’t feel the slightest concern that Julian might do sothing to harm the slumbering Solgaleo or Lunala.

But it was actually because Julian carried traces of many mythical and legendary Pokémon: the auras of ltal, Magearna, and Celebi were present on him. On top of that, he had summoned wtwo, a first-class legendary, in Haitian City.

Later, he also gained the friendship of Manaphy, and the favor of Kyogre, another first-class legendary.

Each of these Pokémon had left behind faint traces of their presence on Julian.

Though Julian himself couldn’t sense it. But as a guardian deity, Tapu Fini could feel it—at least subtly—which had influenced its subconscious trust in Julian.

From the very first glance, Tapu Fini just felt that this kid was absolutely trustworthy.
