Blastoise might not be a Steel-type Pokémon, but thanks to its sturdy shell, its defense was even higher than so Steel-types.
Yet, its renowned defense had failed to withstand a single punch from ga tagross—its shell had been shattered completely.
The crisp cracking sound was so sharp that soone who didn’t know better might have thought ga tagross was munching on a crunchy snack.
“Blastoise!!”
Its trainer’s expression was a mix of shock and fury. Without hesitation, he recalled Blastoise into its Poké Ball, after casting a resentful glance at Julian, he imdiately left the battlefield.
He had no choice—Blastoise’s injuries were severe, and the dicines he carried weren’t enough to heal it. He needed to leave the secret realm imdiately.
If he delayed too long, even if Blastoise received treatnt outside, it might still suffer permanent injuries.
Blastoise was his ace Pokémon—if it was ruined, his journey as a trainer would beco an even harder uphill battle.
He deeply regretted teaming up against Julian. Now, instead of gaining an advantage, he had suffered the worst loss.
Worse still, his Pokémon had taken the most damage so far, which made him feel even more frustrated.
Before leaving, he glanced at Julian: 'Good luck… make sure they suffer more than I did.'
Julian: 'What’s with that look?'
With a mid-Elite Blastoise defeated, and one trainer out of the fight, Julian was now facing six remaining opponents.
"ROAR!"
Before Julian could even breathe a sigh of relief, a miserable cry rang in his ears—
He turned to see ga Aggron, as massive as a towering beast, collapse with a thunderous crash under the combined attacks of seven or eight Pokémon.
It beca clear why none of them had helped Blastoise—they had been focusing all their efforts on bringing down ga Aggron instead.
They had broken through Julian’s strongest defensive wall.
"Return!"
Without hesitation, Julian recalled ga Aggron into its Poké Ball.
Aggron's defense was indeed terrifyingly strong, and for good reason—just look at what it ate daily: raw diamond ore and refined minerals.
But once its impenetrable armor was broken, recovery would take a long ti. Fortunately, thanks to the system, that recovery ti could be greatly reduced.
"LAL!!"
Seeing its closest friend taken down, ltal erupted in fury, its two massive iron fists suddenly extended dozens of ters—
With a thunderous whoosh, the rotund Dewgong was smashed into the air. However, before it could be sent flying too far, a Pidgeot swiftly caught it midair.
On the other side, the trainer being held back by Freddie—rather than truly battling—was more like going through the motions. The Pokémon they had sent out weren’t even Elite-level; they were just Advanced-tier.
This was like playing on an alt account inside an alt account, to put it bluntly.
Both of them understood perfectly well—no matter how intensely they fought, it wouldn’t change the overall situation. Their personal win or loss didn’t matter—what mattered was Julian and the others.
The thunderous sounds of battle and the shockwaves from Julian’s side echoed through the area. Even though these two had moved far away, they still felt the aftershocks.
At this mont, both Freddie and the other trainer stopped fighting—not even bothering to keep up the act.
"You’re pretty clever," Freddie chuckled.
It almost sounded like the two knew each other.
"I can’t afford to offend either side, but why are you siding with Julian? No matter how much of a monster he is, he’s still too young—and he’s up against seven opponents."
He and Freddie were childhood friends, practically brothers.
He hadn’t expected to run into Freddie in this secret realm, let alone for them to be on opposite sides because of the soon-to-erge Poison-type treasure.
However, they had tacitly agreed to act like they didn’t know each other, leading to this staged fight.
Not only had they fooled the others, but they had even tricked Julian.
"Because he gave a good enough deal," Freddie said.
"How good?"
His eyes lit up—considering the Walker family’s wealth, Julian had probably been very generous.
"Call ‘Dad,’ and I’ll tell you."
"You bastard—prepare to die!"
And so, the two started fighting again—but this ti, it was a real brawl. Their Pokémon stood off to the side, watching with blank stares, occasionally glancing at their trainers like they were idiots.
They were over forty, yet still this childish—
Pulling hair, slapping faces, even picking noses—this wasn’t a battle; it was playground-level fight.

The Poison-Type Treasure’s Location;
As the purple swamp completely vanished, as if sothing had absorbed it, the once murky wetland had transford into a dry, barren land.
In the center of this wasteland, a vivid turquoise light suddenly erged. The light intensified rapidly, and within just a few seconds, it streaked across half the sky, painting it half-green, half-blue.
Then, just as suddenly as it appeared, the green light vanished. It was so fast, it was as if it had never been there in the first place.
With the green light's disappearance, everything returned to normal.
'The Poison-Type Treasure was fully ford!'
That was the first thought in the minds of everyone who had seen the green glow.
At this mont, the trainers hiding nearby couldn’t hold back any longer, they rushed out from their hiding spots one after another, ready to claim the treasure.
The treasure had already erged—if they kept hiding, it would end up belonging to soone else.
Of course, a few cautious ones still stayed hidden.
Earlier, the eight trainers fighting Julian had each sent a Pokémon to guard the soon-to-be-born Poison-Type Treasure—
To prevent soone from stealing it while they were busy dealing with Julian.
Because of this, the trainers who rushed out first were imdiately blocked by these Pokémon.
A total of five trainers had revealed themselves.
Their eyes were bloodshot—this was an Ultimate Poison-Type Treasure, sothing even Champions would desire. How could they not be greedy?
Anyone standing in their way was an enemy—and enemies had to die.
Flas, smoke, blood, and screams—
In an instant, chaos took over the land.
It didn’t take long before a Pokémon died—a Quagsire.
Even with its death, the battle didn’t stop, instead, it grew even more brutal.
"Mismagius, Shadow Ball!"
Among the five, one was a Ghost-Type trainer.
Everyone knew, Ghost-Type trainers were the hardest to defend against in the wild. Their Pokémon could appear out of nowhere, almost impossible to sense.
And in a chaotic lee, this point was brought to the extre.
One of the trainers had already been hit—his heart was directly ripped out by a Gengar even before his guardian Pokémon could react.
With one of the five already dead, the remaining three joined forces to deal with the Ghost-Type trainer.
The treasure was important, but staying alive ca first.
Eliminate the biggest threat first.
