The massive explosion raged on for nearly three to four minutes before the deafening roar finally ca to an end.
Yet, the thick smoke still shrouded ga Aggron, keeping its form hidden.
Julian's tightly clenched fists relaxed slightly.
Because he could already feel ga Aggron's Aura again.
The other trainers kept their gaze fixed on the smoke, one of them muttered, "Taking that many attacks head-on, I'm afraid there won't even be ashes left."
Another trainer shook his head regretfully and sighed.
"What a waste of a great Pokémon. Such a fine Aggron, lost because of its trainer’s recklessness."
After all, from his perspective, Julian could have used Alakazam-who was at the peak of Elite-to block the attacks.
But when the smoke gradually dissipated, his eyes widened in shock, his gaze changed from a little regretful to pure disbelief.
A gentle breeze swept through, dispersing the last remnants of the black smoke, and ga Aggron's body appeared in front of them all.
Although its silver-white armor was no longer as radiant as before, and there were even so dents on it, but its horn, sharper and more nacing than before, pointed defiantly at the sky.
"ROOOAAARR!!"
ga Aggron let out a thunderous roar, calling out to Julian and his team.
There were so many attacks, each one of them was at the Elite level, and it had blocked them. Not a single attack had touched Julian or his partners behind it.
"This… this is impossible!"
One of the trainers opened his mouth, his expressions were like he had just seen a ghost in broad daylight.
In fact, to them, ga Aggron’s feat was no different from a supernatural event.
Even for a Pokémon known for its defense, there had to be a limit.
And yet, despite being outnumbered and outmatched. Despite only recently breaking into the Elite tier through ga Evolution—
It had survived, it had stopped the combined assault of over a dozen Elite Pokémon.
If they hadn't seen it with their own eyes, had they not been part of the battle themselves, they would have thought this was a fairy tale.
But Julian gave them no ti to process their shock.
"Dragonite—Draco teor."
"Aggron—Heavy Slam."
His cold voice rang in their ears.
A bright orange sphere shot into the sky, exploding like a firework, splitting into dozens of teors, all raining down on them.
At the sa ti, ga Aggron also moved, like a prehistoric behemoth, it slamd its feet into the ground, launching itself forward.
The very earth trembled beneath its charge, the ground cracked and shattered in its wake.
Even though it was only two Pokémon attacking, the sheer pressure caused by this was no less terrifying than the combined assault of over a dozen of them.
"This is insane…"
One of the trainers could only curse under his breath.
The female Charizard in midair was caught off guard and struck by a Draco teor, crashing heavily to the ground. As soon as it landed, it felt intense tremors coming from the earth, accompanied by a deafening roar in its ears.
Looking toward the source of the sound, it saw a silver-white thing charging straight at it.
"Boom!!"
Charizard’s trainer watched as his Pokémon was sent flying high into the air, his face darkening.
But ga Aggron's charge wasn’t over yet.
"Venusaur, Grass Knot!" a trainer shouted.
If ga Aggron was tripped by Grass Knot in this state, the damage would be enough to incapacitate it for a short while.
"Arcanine, Extre Speed!"
In a flash of red light, Arcanine shot forward like a streak of lightning.
Venusaur, who had been about to use Grass Knot, suddenly found itself face-to-face with a large dog and was montarily stunned.
Venusaur: "Weren’t you just over there?"
Arcanine: "Surprise!"
A burst of Flathrower imdiately engulfed Venusaur.
But in the very next second, a Water Gun blasted in from the side, hitting Arcanine hard in the waist and sending it skidding dozens of ters.
"It didn’t go down?"
Blastoise’s trainer looked at Arcanine in confusion.
His Blastoise was mid-Elite tier—so why did a single Water Gun fail to take down a pseudo-Elite Arcanine?
But he didn't have ti to wonder, with Venusaur out of the way, ga Aggron's Heavy Slam was already barreling toward them.
Fortunately, the Charizard from earlier had "bought" them so ti, so their Pokémon were no longer in ga Aggron’s path.
"Focus on taking down that Arcanine first!" one of the trainers shouted.
Because of Arcanine’s aggressive charge, it had ended up surrounded by enemy Pokémon.
"Blastoise, Hydro Cannon!"
"Starmie, Hydro Pump!"
"Electivire, Thunderbolt!"
"_"
Although not every Pokémon targeted Arcanine, but more than half had launched their attacks.
Under so many incoming attacks, Arcanine stood its ground, eyes burning with intense flas, but deep down-
Arcanine: 'I’m freaking out right now.'
There were too many attacks, and its Extre Speed couldn’t dodge them all. If even one of the attacks landed and interrupted Extre Speed, the rest of the moves would hit it in succession.
"Steelix, Protect!"
The ground trembled as Steelix burst out from underground, positioning itself in front of Arcanine, a green protective barrier enveloped them.
In the next instant, all the attacks crashed into Protect, but the barrier was soon broken, and the remaining attacks all landed on Steelix.
Under the impact of the attacks, Steelix’s massive body was forced back nearly a hundred ters leaving a deep trench in the ground.
Looking at Steelix who stood unwaveringly in front of it, Arcanine was so moved that it nearly burst into tears.
Arcanine: "From now on, you will be my half brother."
Steelix: "F**k off, I’m not a dog."
Steelix panted heavily, its towering body now slightly hunched. Its defenses weren’t on par with Aggron, and if it had ga Evolved, blocking those attacks wouldn’t have been so difficult.
"ta~"
tagross: "Thanks for your hard work."
Julian's counterattack started again.
ga tagross teleported instantly, appearing right in front of Blastoise. A brilliant, multi-colored glow shone from its arm.
"Blastoise, Withdraw!"
Faced with such a sudden attack, Blastoise had no ti to counter and could only tuck itself into its shell.
But seeing Blastoise hiding in its shell, didn’t stop ga tagross.
Boom!
A deafening airburst followed as compressed air erupted around it. With the boost from Tough Claws, the teor Mash beca even more devastating.
With a single punch, Blastoise was smashed into the ground, the surrounding dirt and rocks shot up into the sky, leaving behind a crater over a hundred ters wide.
Crack! Crack!!
The sound of shattering glass echoed.
As ga tagross retracted its arm, the damage beca clear, Blastoise’s shell was covered in deep fractures, and at the point of impact, the shell had completely caved in, revealing the red flesh beneath.
Blastoise's incomparably hard shell was blown away by ga tagross.
