First of all, was its rank, pseudo-king. It was unbelievable that Charizard had ranked up from rare to pseudo-king in such a short amount of ti. Axel now had 8 Pokemons who were at the pseudo-king rank level, including Charizard, and he had decided to use it in the league battle.
Due to fla control reaching stage II, all of its fire-type attacks had reached level 50 and above. That was a massive increase of at least 10 levels. Axel could understand why Fla control leveled up to stage II as Charizard consud the red fla orb, but he could not understand why these moves leveled up to 50.
Finding this thing curious, he looked at the description of Fla control.

The temperature had increased to 3500 degrees, and now it had a new ability, 'fire manipulation'. Axel didn't know to what extent it could manipulate the fire, but it was a good ability.
Looking at the stats and move levels, Charizard may be the most powerful Pokemon in Axel's team. It was so amazing and surprising that it was funny. However, one thing was true. With the help of Arcanine, Axel was confident that Charizard could beat that Darmanitan.
But first, Axel wanted it to be comfortable in its new form. It had just ranked up and gotten many upgrades. So, it may take a few days to be ready for battle. Axel planned to fully concentrate on Charizard for these few days.

After 3 days,
"Charizard, use 'Fla wings' and 'Wing attacks'," shouted Axel.
It flew high in the air. Its wings were glowing in red and white light. The edges of the wings looked very sharp.
BOOMMMM
The wall had been penetrated and sliced off by the attack.
"Ok, you are now ready for the fight," said Axel and bumped his fist with Charizard.
He had been training it for the past 3 days, and he was surprised by its power. It had beco extrely powerful. It took so ti to get adjusted, but now it was ready to battle Darmanitan.
"Ro, we still cannot connect to others?" asked Axel.
"Unfortunately not. We don't know where the others are right now."
For the past 3 days, Ro had been doing everything he could to connect to others, but he had not been able to. They could not say if they were safe or not. There was only one thing they could do about it.
"I think it is ti now," said Axel.
"Are you confident?" asked Ro.
"I am. I think we can do this. Don't worry about it. We would go up tomorrow," said Axel.
Axel wanted to attack in the morning for only 2 reasons.
First of all, since it was early in the morning, there would be a high chance that Darmanitan would be sleeping. So, they could do a sneak attack.
The second was the most obvious one. The temperature early in the morning would be very low, and it would be ideal for them.
"Let's hope for the best tomorrow," said Axel.
Both of them talked for so ti and then went to sleep.
Early morning,
"Charizard, are you ready?" asked Axel.
"ROARRRR"
"Let's go then. I am so hungry right now. I want to eat roasted Darmanitan," said Axel.
Since they had an accident and fell into this unknown cave, they had lost their food source too. They only had so left for a day. So, they had not eaten anything for the past 2 days.
There was another reason as to why Axel was so hyped up. It was due to a special quest that he got 2 days ago.

Ro called off Arcanine, and both of them got on Charizard's back. They slowly started to fly high, and within a few seconds, all of them had co out of the hole.
Axel could see that they were still on the top of the mountain. That Darmanitan was still at the peak with 3 other Darmanitans.
As Axel had hoped, all of them were sleeping as the sun had not co out yet. It was still hot, so Axel could not use other Pokemons for the battle.
He had already told Charizard not to make any noise. He wanted them to be as stealthy as possible.
They landed, and Ro quietly called out Arcanine. Both of them went near their opponents. Charizard was now in front of the leader Darmanitan, and Arcanine was in front of the other 3 Darmanitans.
"Now, attack," said Axel quietly.
