If he was not in close proximity when it was ranking up, he would be awarded rewards and punishnts. He was not fond of the punishnts as he had experienced them before.
"Are you sure, Axel? I feel like my skin is burning," said Ro.
"I am sure. Go NOW!!!" shouted Axel.
Axel knew that the ranking process would take around 10 minutes, and he could literally feel that his skin was starting to burn. Seeing no way out, he started to use the only thing to protect himself.
It was Aura.
Axel only knew 3 Aura skills: 'Aura sense', 'Aura resistance', and 'Aura pressure'. He had been trying to learn a new aura skill that would cover his whole body to boost his defense for so ti.
He first used 'Aura sense' to sense the aura on his body. Then he started to spread that aura towards his whole body. He failed multiple tis, but he didn't give up.
The temperature was rising each second, and he had to be here for 10 minutes. After 2 minutes, he realized that he didn't have enough aura control to spread the aura all over his body.
So, he did the next best thing. He spread his aura only to the vital parts of his body to save himself.
After a few minutes, he succeeded.

Most of his body had started to get burnt, but he didn't want to receive another punishnt. He had also realized that the punishnts were getting harsher each ti. He didn't want to suffer it again.
Fortunately, the process didn't take 10 minutes but only 7 minutes.

The minute he saw this, he imdiately went and then closed the freaking door. The temperature dropped down imdiately, and now it was back to normal.
Since it was inside this unknown cave, the temperature was normal around 25 degrees Celsius. After he closed down, he imdiately fell down. He was starting to lose consciousness.
Ro was watching all the scene from the back. After seeing the door closed down, he ran towards Axel and took off his suit.
Most of Axel's skin had been burnt down except for the chest area, private parts, and his stomach. These were the places he had used aura coat on.
His hands and feet were black from being burnt, and most of his hair had co out from the heat.
Ro took out sothing and started to spray Axel's body. Since they had co to this volcanic island, they had also taken so dicines in case they got burnt.
The spray was one of those dicines. After spraying the dicine, Axel's body stopped burning, but the damage had already been done. There were multiple wounds and burnt marks on his body, and he had already fainted from the pain.
Ro didn't panic. He was a veteran. He started to put another dicine which was like a paste all over the burnt places and fed Axel a tablet. He asked Arcanine to carry Axel a bit far for safety.
He then took one of the balls from Axel's pocket and called out Mamoswine.
"Mamoswine, your trainer is hurt and burnt. Use so ice attacks around the surrounding to make it cool and also use so chunks of ice to cool his body," said Ro.
He also called out Gogoat and Venusaur to heal Axel to the best of their abilities.
That was all he could do for Axel right now. However, what he didn't know was that Axel was more hurt than he could have imagined. He was not waking up.
Finally, after another 10 minutes, the door opened, and Charizard ca outside. Suddenly, a white glow started to form around Axel, and he was lifted off from the ground.
Ro didn't know what the hell was happening right now. So many things were going on. Charizard had co out looking stronger and more powerful. He could feel a sense of danger from this Pokemon.
The room inside looked like he had been lted from inside out. It was like a volcano had erupted there, but he could not feel any heat.
Axel had started to glow in white color, and he was lifted from the ground. He was flying.
What the hell was happening here?
Slowly, Axel opened his eyes, and he was brought to the ground. Ro was shocked to see that Axel had fully healed. Even his hair had co out, and he looked good as new.
Axel could see a lot of notifications, but he didn't concentrate on that. He first looked at his body and found out that he had been completely healed.
"Axel, are you okay? How are you completely healed?" asked Ro.
"I also have no idea," replied Axel.
But he knew. It was all because of the system, and when he saw the notifications, he found out what had happened.

Since the system could not help the host to extend the rank up, rewards would be given as compensation.

Reward 1: Host body has been completely healed.
Reward 2: Perception- It could be used on a move or ability of a Pokemon. This would lead it to have a high amount of perception and a high chance of the evolution/or mastery of the move/ability.

He didn't know that he would be rewarded for his efforts, but he was happy nonetheless. He would have to be hospitalized for months for his recovery, but now he was healed.
Axel wore the suit again and got ready. Even though the heat was so high, the suit had not been damaged.
Charizard had already closed off the door so the residual heat would not co out. It had controlled the heat from the room so that Axel would not be affected. That was why Ro had not felt any heat from the lted room inside.
After assuring Ro that he was really okay, he stood up and looked towards Charizard. He could see that it had got its arrogance back. It looked very strong and domineering. But after staring at it for so ti, Charizard ca back to its senses and started to act normal.
Axel looked at other notifications to know about Charizard's progress.
