The inside room was not very wide, but it had a good amount of height. At the center of the room were three big statues. The first was a statue of a Charizard, the second was a statue of Darmanitan. Both of them looked to be fighting against each other. However, the third statue was what surprised Axel. It was a statue of Heatran, bigger than both of the other statues, placed in the center.
The room was exceptionally hot, way hotter than the top of the volcanic mountain. A small dark red orb of fla rested in the hands of the Charizard statue, and a similar red orb of fla could also be seen on the top of the head of Darmanitan. Those orbs of flas were the reason for such a high temperature.
"What is that?" asked Axel. Axel could see that Charizard was especially interested in the red orb in the hand of the Charizard statue.
"I have no clue," said Ro too.
Ro was the more experienced one of the two, but even he didn't have any idea of what those red fla orbs were. He could say that it was a type of treasure, but his Arcanine didn't seem to be interested in it. Only Charizard was interested.
"Ro, start to decipher all these texts. Let's see what they say," said Axel. Axel had now beco the de facto leader of the two. Ro had also subconsciously considered it.
Charizard wanted to get that red fla orb, but Axel told it to wait for so ti. They had no idea what it really was, and he just wanted to make sure.
After 20 minutes, Ro had finally taken pictures of all the writings. Most of them could not be translated, so they didn't have complete information.
"So, what did you find, Ro?" asked Axel.
"The information is incomplete because these languages are very ancient. But I was able to figure out so of them."
"I am listening."
"This place seems to be like a holy land for Fire-type Pokémon. It says that every 500 years, there would be a huge battle of Fire-type Pokémon, and the winner would be awarded by Heatran. Their species would also be rewarded. Last ti it was a draw between a Charizard and Darmanitan. So, both of them were given rewards. This also may be the reason why we found the caves of Charizard and Darmanitan and why they are more powerful here."
"So, when would the next battle occur?" asked Axel.
"After 4 years."
"Can you tell what these red orbs are?"
"It seems to be one of the rewards. This was supposed to be taken by Charizard and Darmanitan after 4 years, before the battle. These orbs have been accumulating powers for 496 years."
"Does it tell why that Darmanitan could not co inside the hole? Cause it must have known about this location," asked Axel again.
"No, most of the writings could not be translated, so I am not sure about it. Maybe after we get out of here and translate it more thoroughly, we would get so answers."
"So, this orb could be taken by Charizard right now?"
"Maybe it could. But do rember that the translation is not complete. So, we don't have full information. I have no idea about this," said Ro.
"Hmmm.. Charizard, prepare yourself and get ready to grab that orb. After taking it, absorb it slowly. Try to comprehend that power as much as you can. Rember you have to be patient," said Axel.
Axel knew that this orb was good for Charizard. There was so risk involved as there was no full information, but seeing Charizard excited about it, he could tell that it was sothing good. He wanted it to grasp the full potential of that orb, so he told it to comprehend it slowly.
Just when Charizard grabbed the red orb of fla, it was imdiately surrounded by a fiery aura. It looked like the red orb of fla was transferring its power to its whole body. After so ti, there was a thin coat of red fla all over its body.
Then it happened.
Suddenly Charizard released a fiery wave with itself as the epicenter. The wave was powerful, and Axel and the team were blown back by the impact. All of them crashed to the ground, including Arcanine.
"What the hell is happening?" shouted Ro.
The temperature in the room had spiked up to an unbearable degree. Ro had to call off Arcanine because it could not stand the hit. Even though they were in the suit, Axel could feel that his body was burning up. He felt like all the water in his body was evaporating. 'Is this how it feels to be burnt alive?' he thought.
He could see that Charizard was not affected by the hit. It had closed its eyes and seed to be concentrating.
"Axel, we need to move out of this place. We cannot bear the hit," said Ro.
Axel was brought out of his reverie, and both of them ran outside the room. The heat suddenly dimd down. It was still hot, but now they could bear it.
"Axel, is Charizard safe?" asked Ro worriedly. He was the one who had said that it was fine, so he was feeling guilty.
"I can see that it had not been hard. We just have to wait and see."
He could tell that because of the system. If Charizard was hurt, the system would have notified them, but it had not.

Ding!
Charizard is in the presence of mysterious power. It is consuming it.
-----
Axel was concentrating on the system ssage and Charizard right now. Even though they had co out of the room, the heat was still there and it was increasing.
"Axel, I think we should close the door," suggested Ro.
"No, I want to see it. You can back away so distance if you want," replied Axel.

Ding!
Charizard's defense has ranked up to S. Charizard's attack has ranked up to S. Charizard's Sp. attack has ranked up to S.
----
Axel also didn't want to be here. The heat was not bearable, but he had to stay because.
----
Ding!
Charizard is ranking up....
Ding!
Since Charizard had not consud all the power of the red orb, it cannot hold all the energy in its body. So, it is forcefully ranking up.
Ding!
Host cannot interfere and disturb the ranking process.
