The attack resembled a black sun hanging ominously in the heavens.
Victor and Tate, who had been observing the battle from mid-air, quickly directed their Pokémon to retreat to a safer distance.
If they remained too close, they would inevitably be caught in the devastating aftermath.
As for the two smaller islands flanking the central battleground—well, after this battle concluded, it seed likely that all three islands would cease to exist entirely.
"Gengar, we're going Gigantamax too!" Roy gazed up at the Shadow Ball that threatened to eclipse the entire sky, took a deep breath, and swiftly recalled his ga Gengar to its Poké Ball.

The sound was deafening—like the very fabric of reality tearing apart.

GA Evolution, Gigantamax transformation, and the spirit world battlefield—every possible enhancent had been activated to maximum potential.

In an instant, the King of Gengar's pupils turned blood red, like those of a true demon. Its form wavered slightly, appearing to tremble, but in the next mont, countless copies of the King of Gengar materialized, darkening the sky like an apocalyptic swarm.
