“Terrance’s strength is quite good.” Albus said.
“But it’s a bit of a pity that I lost. I didn’t expect Altaria to use inherited moves, and not just one, but two.” He sighed.
“With Altaria’s strength, the only Pokémon we have that can defeat it is Lucario, right?” Fujiki glanced at him.
“Although I admit that Terrance is the most suitable candidate we’ve encountered so far, the gap in strength between Altaria and Lucario is still quite large.”
“If it can succeed in ga Evolution, maybe that gap will shrink.”
Albus also felt helpless. The power gap among the Pokémon they had was significant. Lucario, due to his Aura power, was far ahead, vastly surpassing their other Pokémon.
“Anyway, let’s wait for tomorrow’s results.”
…
…
The next day, in a desolate and remote area beneath Mt. Chimney.
ga Evolution requires the Trainer to possess a Key Stone, and the Pokémon to hold the correct ga Stone.
To complete the ga Evolution, Altaria’s evolutionary stone was hung around its neck by Terrance, while the Key Stone bracelet was worn on Terrance’s right wrist.
“Now… what should we do next?” After getting ready, Terrance and Altaria looked toward Albus and Fujiki.
“Well…” Albus pondered for a mont before speaking, “Co out, Lucario.”
With a flash of white light, a Pokémon appeared before Terrance. It had a spike on the back of each hand and one on its chest. Its upper body was petite, while its lower body was more stable.
Lucario!
Wild Lucario were extrely rare, so rare that even the rough location of their habitat remained unknown.
Even compared to Altaria’s rarity, Lucario was on a completely different level.
“If I rember correctly, Lucario can use Aura to communicate with its companions and sense its surroundings.” Terrance recalled Albus’ ability to command his Pokémon silently, an ability similar to Telepathy. He couldn’t help but be amazed. No wonder the other party said that Lucario was his strongest partner.
If their abilities resonate with each other… could they beco as terrifying as that psychic girl from Saffron City?
“Are we going to have another battle?” Terrance asked.
“If your Altaria successfully undergoes ga Evolution, then of course, we’ll have another battle. But for now, Lucario’s task is to assist you in completing the ga Evolution.”
“The key to ga Evolution is sensing the energy of the Key Stone and the ga Stone. Through the Trainer’s bond with the Pokémon, this energy is drawn out and resonance is triggered.”
“Your bond is the key to draw out this energy. Because of the ga Ring encasing the Key Stone, the ga Evolution process may be a bit more difficult. But don’t worry, Lucario and I will use Aura power to sense your emotions and assist you in quickly finding the point of perfect synchronization.”
Assist us in synchronizing our emotions?
Terrance looked at Altaria, then closed his eyes, slowly extending his wrist, placing his other hand on top.
“Altaria—”
The next mont, Terrance and Altaria felt an intense surge of energy radiating from the Key Stone and ga Stone!!
This energy transford into a chain, directly linking Terrance’s and Altaria’s emotions together.
In that instant, a dazzling light flashed through their minds. With a sharp cracking sound, a Pokémon Egg shell, white with blue patterns, appeared with web-like cracks.
Another vision followed—gentle hands carefully placing a small creature onto their head, softly sitting down until the little one fell asleep.
Then, the sight of a young boy guiding the small creature through its first battle, training together, honing their skills, growing together…
From frantically fleeing from a pursuing Seviper, to the knowing smiles they shared when the Poké Ball lightly made contact, to the overwhelming joy they felt upon evolution—at this mont, every bit of the past four years between Swablu and Terrance beca the force that triggered ga Evolution.
The Key Stone and ga Stone burst forth with an endless radiance!
Even in daylight, the brilliant light emitted from the ga Stone on Altaria’s neck completely enveloped its entire body, making it impossible to see its form!
“The source of this power…”
Albus and Fujiki looked toward Terrance in shock. As they stared at the ga Ring radiating with the sa light, they found themselves unable to believe their own eyes.
“To be able to awaken the power of the evolution device on the very first attempt… The bond between this Altaria and Terrance has already surpassed the usual connection between a Trainer and their Pokémon.”
In four years, Terrance had only raised a handful of Pokémon. As a Breeder, the care and attention he could give to each Pokémon were incomparable to that of an ordinary person!
Altaria, ga Evolution!
“This isn’t the end yet. You must hold on!!” Albus grew tense.
“You have to get through this!” Fujiki was equally worried.
The light radiating from the Key Stone on the ga Ring and the ga Stone instantly enveloped Altaria. At that mont, Altaria’s form began to change, just like a regular Pokémon undergoing evolution. Its life essence kept rising—
“ga Altaria, huh!” Terrance watched Altaria as it evolved. Suddenly, a wave of dizziness struck his mind.
Terrance had felt this sensation before. Once, in order to understand a certain breeding theory, he had spent an entire day and night tirelessly reasoning, analyzing, and experinting. When he finally finished, he felt as if his whole body no longer belonged to him.
No… this was even worse. It felt like adding the exhaustion he experienced when he first trained under Teacher Julian, undergoing high-intensity physical drills. Both his ntal and physical strength were steadily being drained at this mont.
“So this… is the side effect of this ga Ring?!” Terrance forced himself to stay calm. No need to worry—everything happening here was within Master Victor’s calculations.
If it was just at this level, he could still endure for a while.
In terms of physical strength, after undergoing Julian’s International Police-style basic training, he was stronger than most Trainers.
In terms of ntal strength, perhaps because he had lived two lives, his ntal resilience was also exceptional. Terrance had realized this himself while morizing and comprehending knowledge. This was also a crucial reason why he could learn things so quickly.
As Altaria underwent ga Evolution, Terrance’s energy was steadily draining…
But at this very mont—Altaria had completed its evolution!
“My god, so this is a ga Altaria?!” Albus stared at the sky in a daze before suddenly bursting into laughter.
“So beautiful…” Fujiki gazed at ga Altaria, montarily entranced.
After ga Evolution, Altaria’s tail had grown longer. At the sa ti, its originally pure white, fluffy feathers were now concentrated on its back, while its chest was no longer covered in them. Its main skin color had also lightened compared to before.
The cotton-like feathers on its head ford a shape resembling a crown. This gave ga Altaria not only an elegant appearance but also an aura of majesty!”
