Chapter 909: Weight Of The Erald Kingdom

Hirzartanli glanced to the side for a mont as a great erald glow swallowed the world, despite the great flash of light, the beast ancestor was not blinded, and neither was any of the livings for that matter, they could still see clearly, and as the light washed over them, injuries faded away and exhaustion seed to simply be a distant dream, on the other hand, the light sohow managed to blind the senses of the undead, they who did not even require eyes to see could not bypass the decree of the erald shine.

It was simple as a matter of will, the sun ancestor desired for allies to be spared blinding and to be refreshed, whilst she wanted for enemies to lose vision and be scorched by the light.

‘If she’s here, then that ans Arzt has already engaged Loimos, huh? That old stone, I never realised he still had it in him like this…’ Hirzartanli turned to the imnse beast rising to its countless feets, each of the disaster beast was a most wondrous creature of imnse power, but amidst them, the one she was fighting had given the strongest sense of danger, there was also another that seed similar, but from what she could tell, it was infinitely easier to handle for the others than this one would have been, so doing her duty as ancestor, she threw that one away from the battlefield to face it by herself.

This one’s body was pitch black, possessing more than a hundred legs, each varying in thickness and length, there were about as many tendrils hanging from what one would suppose would serve as an equivalent for a torso and abdon, but more importantly, perched atop a long, malford-looking neck that could bend and twist into all sorts of angles was a white light encased into so sort of translucent material similar to glass.

Indeed, she herself had no way of knowing, but this disaster beast had been raised and created by Loimos using a creature of the black fog, a black fog voidling, despite its lack of life force, the pure undead had turned one undead, and made it into a loyal champion.

Swinging its head forward, it launched a concentrated ray of white light forward, which the ancestor sohow just took head-on without feeling as much as a slight chill.

“Mmh, good thing I took you away, that’s a little dangerous” she remarked aloud, unless one was extraordinarily powerful, they would be instantly transford into an undead and black fog voidling directly upon being caught in the light, and even then, even amongst those who could resist it, they would be sent writhing to the ground like a worm being cooked alive.

But Hirzartanli was wholly unfazed, but so was the disaster beast.

Voidlings like itself were already dull beyond belief, so adding undeath on top of it, and special care from the pure undead, nothing could get this creature riled up, it rely tried again, even harder this ti, to the point that the white light actually scorched the ground and where it landed, but the beast ancestor had already moved, and the beast following the movent closely.

Its alien mind warped by death silently taking in the vision and trying to calculate the best course of action, naturally, retreating was not an option, if anything, at worst, it would be completely defeat and be spawned back into existence by The Graveyard, it was no big deal, losing eventually would be of no cost and it would still be able to make up for the failure later on, what was not acceptable was to be destroyed quickly, if anything, the disaster beast had to play in the domain undeads were most suited in, which was a battle of attrition.

Even the greatest of livings, that transcended all limits, would get tired quicker than than a skeleton who was a scribe, but for now, the disaster beast, often called Gaze, did not know for sure if this was a fight that could not be won, so contorting its countless legs, bending so many tis that it seed like they were made of nothing but joints, the creature leapt into the air, sending an earthquake rippling through the ground as many trees were completely uprooted.

“What a little freak, that’s aweso!” Hirzartanli had never seen sothing like this from an erald beast before, Gaze was so weird, if the situation was not dire, she would want to keep it around.

Mid-air, Gaze straightened its legs, its body nearly flat as it flattened itself, resembling so sort of giant, atrocious sea star.

Instead of falling back like any normal being would have, it was able to still control its movent even in the air, and sent itself spinning in the direction of the beast ancestor, crashing into ground whilst still spinning, digging into the earth and destroyed everything in the area as it path of destruction continued for a little while before it suddenly rose back up to its feet.

It managed to lose sight of Hirzartanli, it knew that the ancestor was fine as her death would have been sothing that was most simple to notice amongst the countless trees and other creatures that were crushed just now, in fact, it believed that if even a drop of her life force had been shed, that it would have known, but it had not happened.

Then, it looked up.

The beast ancestor had dodged and manifest a pair of wings in place of her arms, getting incredibly high up in just a re instant, without wasting a second, the disaster beast launched a wide ray of light into the sky, channelling as much of its strength as it could as Hirzartanli launched herself down into a straight line, gathering so much montum in a re instant that her figure erupted with flas.

A second before impact, a wide shadow was suddenly casted right over Gaze, and it swiftly crushed under an imnse weight.

Hirzartanli had assud the bestial form that she had maintained for many years, which was a chiric amalgamation of everything single species of beasts that existed within the Erald Realm, in fact, so of these creatures had gone extinct long ago, and also, it was not limited to beasts, as they were even trees and plants amidst it all.

Even a mighty disaster beast was pinned under the tyrannical mass, a combination of every single type of creature and being rged together perfectly, further enhanced and pushed by the mastery of Hirzartanli over beast worship.

Gaze found this to be strangely reminiscent of Loimos, as he too could basically do the exact sa thing, the only difference was the strange energy coursing through the beast ancestor, which allowed this transformation to transcend its natural limits, not only was every strength of every beings perfectly rged together, but the weaknesses were eliminated, and the whole thing was augnted by what felt a hundredfold thanks to that energy.

This was the result of only a single way of power.

Still, the undead beast did not falter, and tried to stand up anyways…
