Unable to rest easy, Kylian was constantly marching back and forth in the hallway, overthinking about the conversation Zenith and Aiden might be having right now. His head was filled with countless anxious thoughts, making him too uneasy. But when he was on the verge of being unable to stand his nervousness and rushed out of the building to follow after them, Aiden seed to be returning back to the dormitory room, bearing a very serious look on his face.

Aiden flinched a little seeing Kylian march outside on the hallway, but as soon as their gaze t each other, Kylian approached him first. He tossed a clumsy smile while trying to clear the awkward air around them, "H-Hi, it seems you h-had misunderstood earlier. I-I didn’t sigh aloud because I am displeased to see you here or sothing, it’s just that I was very surprised—"

"It’s alright. You don’t have to put that unnecessary regard or greet ." However, interrupting his words, Aiden grunted in a nonchalant tone, while his orbs narrowed at him, "I am already aware of the deal you had made with Zenith."

His sudden answer struck Kylian inside like a powerful jolt of thunder as if the ground beneath his foot had started to slip away. The harrowing fear dawned inside his chest, making him stifled to breathe easily.

’Did Zenith...tell him about my transition as an Oga? But...h-he had sworn to that he would protect my secret safely with him as long as I go along with his whims... Then...d-did I make a grave mistake by putting my faith on him? Did he...really expose after all?’

The skeptical thoughts clouded inside his mind one by one, making Kylian feel too restless from the inside as if just those negative assumptions about Zenith were making his heart ache terribly hard.

However, using his keen observation skills, Aiden was quick to notice Kylian’s face turning dark from a hidden angst inside him. Initially, he wanted to twist his words and obtain so more information from Kylian, but watching his pale apprehensive look unknowingly softened his rigid heart a little, as if Aiden didn’t feel the urge to make him more anxious.

He rather responded in a cold voice while glowering towards him, "Zenith has told that you have agreed to beco his pet and he will be your Master, under the condition that he’ll have to stop bothering those weak students in the Academy. This was the original deal between you two, right?"

After hearing Aiden’s words, Kylian felt a breather of relief as if a heavy load of fear was off his chest. His pale strenuous face started to regain his usual complexion when he wondered himself, ’Thank Goodness... Thank Goodness he kept his word... Thank Goodness Zenith didn’t betray ...

’No...what am I thinking?’

When Kylian felt imnse relief, the next mont his own concern hit his mind as he observed how dependent he was becoming on Zenith.

Frowning his brows, he asked himself, ’I had sworn to myself that I would never keep any expectations from soone, not even Zenith...then why did I already start to anticipate my expectations from him? Until now...I had thought to live my whole life without feeling the need to rely on anyone else, but now...why am I being okay like this if it’s Zenith?’

When his mind was contemplating such anxious thoughts, his wolf Morpheus’s words further left Kylian baffled. Indeed Morpheus had accurately sowhat the reason behind his thoughts, but unable to admit it himself, Kylian rather blatantly argued with Morpheus through mindlink.

"Of course, it is not true. That punk forced into this deal by threatening to show my picture around the Academy which he had captured without my permission in the first place! How can I even feel completely reassured by soone like him? I must be too exhausted from all the chaotic events going on in my life...so...I may be finding temporary solace in him...but...wait, you’re my wolf, yet still, why do you keep siding with Zenith, huh?"

"I asked you sothing but it seems like you’re completely ignoring now."

Kylian flinched from the sudden cold voice from Aiden, when he was busy bickering with his wolf. With a small cough, Kylian t his glowering eyes, while he gave a small nod, "Yes, that’s correct. That was the deal."

"No matter how much I try to think, it doesn’t make sense to . Why would you go this far to beco his pet when you were too prideful and had already sworn Zenith as your enemy since the first day of your arrival here?"

After getting his affirmation, Aiden’s face turned a bit dark when he continued to inquire in a serious note, " Are you really willing to go this far for other students, or...do you have hidden intentions towards Zenith?"

’I don’t have any choice, you bastard. Otherwise, why would I have bothered to go along with that crazy deal? Of course, it hurts my pride!’

Kylian grunted aloud in his mind but on the outside, he kept a serene smile on his lips while he answered him, "As I have already ntioned to you before, I have no interest in the influence or power of his family. But yes, I detested to see him bully those weak people who stand no match in comparison to his strength. So, in exchange for my submission if the other students could live with relief here, what’s wrong with the deal anyway?"

Aiden stared still at Kylian’s face which appeared very charming under the dazzling moonlit. The serene smile lingered on his lips, while the soft night breeze rustled his shiny black hair falling over his forehead, his ocean eyes looked endearing compared to any other guy he had t before.

For the first ti noticing such an enchanting aura around Kylian, his powerful beta wolf Dazen couldn’t suppress himself from comnting inside Aiden’s head, "He’s gorgeous and a kind, selfless boy indeed.... But...the aura around him isn’t like Alphas... instead, why does it seem to that he is like an Oga?"
