Chapter 19: Good First Day

The inside of the building was pretty neat., the zombies and the hounds outside engaged in great battle as the hero and I rolled through the lobby. Neo Mack 3 was alright too.

So of the stupid monsters would try to follow in through the hole we had left, but I had little to worry about since others would just drag them back out.

"Gorey as hell…" the hero muttered as he stood up and dusted himself.

It was gory as hell. I liked it a lot. I almost wanted to pop so popcorn, get a seat and watch this battle like a toddler seeing a 4D movie for the first ti.

Sticking to it seed difficult for now though. It was almost a whole twenty-four hours since I had slept. Just a single coffee and cigarette wasn't enough to make up for it.

"Alright, look for the store room," I told Relafan and the two of us set off from the lobby of the tower. The posh really live well. Thankfully, they were also likely to be few in number so we didn't have to worry much about

Relafan and I strutted through the surprisingly empty passageways. Neo Mack 3 seed to have gotten quickly used to us after being shown so kindness, I could probably use the hero for more such psyops.

Through the lines of red carpets and many antique paintings, under the chandeliers and the Paris plastered ceilings, we found the door to the tiny store room that could barely hold enough brooms.

"Here?"

"Yeah, my old man wanted to give it a go so I know most about this place."

Bunkers were neat since they didn't change, as they were never used. The chanism on a hundred-year-old bunker was likely to remain the sa even if soone was maintaining it, the urgency to fix just never hit in so circumstances.

"How do we get there?"

"Simple."

I reached up and pulled out the CFL from its socket. Then, I turned the switch up. On the socket appeared a very, very small hole only big enough for a matchstick or splinter to fit in. I broke said splinter off from a broom and pushed it into the hole.

"Get in here."

Relafan looked around and stepped inside the store room that was cramped with just alone. Barely wide enough to fit our shoulders, we closed the place's door, and in the next mont—

—WHIRRR

The ground started moving down.

"This is like a governnt base…"

"It's cunning. It limits entry and exit, so my dad was unable to bring in the big guns and had to fight before he could enter the bunker."

Our luggage was just us, what we could strap to ourselves, and our bags. There wasn't anything to worry about.

"What happens if there's no electric?"

"It uses a special solar battery. There's no need for electricity."

The ground continued moving for a while before coming to a stop.

"This is not sustainable, huh?" Asked Relafan.

He was correct.

Chances were, the next scenario would ban places like this. Even if not, just in case the building fell, we could be trapped here.

In that sense, it was a very stupid bunker. But making sothing to hold special etings in and run from nukes and terrorists through didn't need to worry about broken buildings.

Nukes would not leave anything above, and terrorists would eventually be caught and the place dug up. The apocalypse was likely the only scenario where it was a problem.

The lift finally ca to a stop.

A small, small door was in front of us. Even smaller than the one outside, this only let a single person pass through.

"No face detect or anything?" Relafan asked.

"There is, a fingerprint."

"How do we pass through it—"

—BANG

I shot the hinges of the door thrice each. The door weakened then and I topped it off by burying the axe into the center of the fra.

Fingerprints? Locks? Well, those won't work if I break it from the middle.

It might be a little too strong for normal guns.

[Vincent-Lemograss Circulation Technique has leveled up!]

With magic, that mattered little.

The door broke and I stepped inside.

An enormous room with white walls, floors, and lights set off.

"W-w-what!?"

"Who are you…"

And inside the place. Were other people.

A bunch of rich jackasses had gathered inside, about twelve of them. They even had a teen child and a few old coots with younger won.

All of them trembled and scread inside the place as they saw us.

"Fuck!" I scread as I stepped into the place.

"Vincent," the Hero grabbed my shoulder. "Let talk with them, you don't have to worry."

He then raised his hands and spoke to the others.

"Guys! We knew about this location from a while back, we're just here to join you in escaping whatever is going on outside."

"Join? Join you dumbfuck!?"

I checked the magazine of my gun. Twelve.

"Are you stupid? I am here to fucking sleep!"

"Vincent they won't do anything—"

"You absolute buffoon! They might just stab you in your sleep. Heck, I bet the colonel there is already fucking that pig's wife who is cheating on both of them with mister protein there!"

The old man, the big man, the muscle man, and the clear whore all gasped.

"I don't know about you, but I don't trust any of these twelve sluts with my grandpa's used condoms let alone my life!"

"Vincent still—"

I cut the hero off and pulled my gun up.

The people inside quaked.

—BANG!

It resounded once.

—BANG!

—BANG!

—BANG!

And eleven tis more.

The Hero covered his ears and crouched away as I got rid of the trash in the room.

As soon as the last one groaned and croaked over, I let out a sigh of relief.

"Finally… so peace of mind."

"Fuck, man, why did you?!"

I kicked the hero across his face. He rolled on the ground and fell over.

"Look, I am very patient with you, so as always, I will fucking explain and forgive you."

This damned hero.

He always escaped my anger. Always.

"You can't trust the rich! That's all there is to it. I lived a normal life, but on the richer side, and I can assure you, all of us are scum of the Earth. Grow up already."

The white place wasn't empty, rooms were made inside, and so was a kitchen and other places that one would need to live.

I stretched my hands, ignored the bodies, and opened the door to the first room on the path.

The hero was still on the ground.

"Go and sleep, fuck. You too, Neo Mack 3."

"Pipo…"

The sli was stuck to the hero.

I yawned and stepped inside. Man would I like so music.
