Johnnie was stunned. He didn’t even have ti to use his teleport skill before several beams of light and darkness, packed with terrifying power, crashed down.

The ground shook. His Health points dropped to zero in an instant.
[Ding! You were instantly killed by the Light-and-Dark Sli. Resurrection Ring triggered.]
System prompts flashed. Johnnie revived on the spot. Without hesitating, he used Blink and reappeared a hundred ters away.
Facing Maiev, Nalorin Sylvia, and the Dark Golden Golem, the Light-and-Dark Sli wasn’t at a disadvantage at all.
Its jelly-like body bounced, and more beams of light and darkness rained down in a steady barrage.
They were having a rough ti—especially the Dark Golden Golem, which couldn’t block those beams at all.
"This thing seems like the Water-and-Fire Sli. It only controls two elental laws." Johnnie’s eyes lit up. He could use the sa thod he used back then.
He acted at once. He summoned his self-repairing chanical Golems and set them to be immune to light and dark magic.
"Go!" Johnnie shouted. Over ten thousand chanical Golems charged forward.
At the sa ti, he controlled the Seven Sword to keep up the assault. The real finisher wasn’t the Dark Golden Golems—it was the Seven Sword’s instant-kill effect.
Boom, boom...
The roaring didn’t stop. Dense beams kept slamming into the golem army, but they were unhard.
"Hm? Immune to magic? Interesting." The Light-and-Dark Sli wasn’t flustered. If anything, it got excited.
Seeing that its light and dark magic couldn’t hurt them, it decided the golems were immune to magic attacks.
Buzz!
Sword Intent humd. Two swords of light appeared before the sli—one bright, one dark—condensed from the power of the Light and Dark Laws.
"Out of my way!" it roared. The twin swords spun around it, then flew out like a sword-controlling technique, slashing toward the golem army.

Crash after crash, golems were smashed to pieces.
Those light swords dealt heavy physical damage. The chanical Golems couldn’t hold them.
"Master, we’re not afraid of physical attacks. Put the chanical Golems in front of us." Maiev urged.
Beams kept pounding them, and they were in pain. Even with their Domains up, they still couldn’t block it.
"Got it." Johnnie understood and moved the chanical Golems to form a wall around them, blocking the falling beams.
Boom, boom...
Beams rained down, but they did no damage.
"Damn it!" The Light-and-Dark Sli cursed. Its huge body bounced up as it drove the twin light-and-dark swords straight at Johnnie.
"Snotball, your opponent is us." Nalorin Sylvia said coldly. Snowflakes filled the air, and several razor-sharp streaks of sword light flashed in.
Thud, thud...
They hit, but didn’t hurt the sli at all.
"It’s just like the lord of Celestial End City—immune to energy attacks." Maiev warned.
"Understood." Nalorin Sylvia summoned the Stellar Sword and charged the Light-and-Dark Sli.
Maiev wasn’t to be outdone. The Dark-Moon longbow appeared in her hands, and a flurry of arrows flew.
"Hmph, know your place." The sli sneered as its body turned pitch-black, shifting into its dark form.
Clang, clang...
Arrows and sword strikes landed, but still barely scratched it.
In light form, it shrugs off energy damage. In dark form, its physical defense soars. They still couldn’t deal real damage.
Johnnie’s attacks couldn’t even break its defense.
"Such a headache." Maiev muttered, frowning. "Sylvia, you do physical. I’ll do energy."
The Light-and-Dark Sli was strong, but it had a weakness: it couldn’t hold both forms at once.
"Okay!" Nalorin Sylvia drove her sword in a wild assault.
Maiev flicked her fingers; the bowstring thrumd. The Dark-Moon effect triggered, and arrows filled the sky.
"Useless. You can’t threaten ." the sli leader scoffed. The light and dark power around it kept switching, completely blocking the two won’s attacks.
Johnnie’s Seven Sword still couldn’t deal any damage.
This thing was even stronger than the Water-and-Fire Sli.
"Damn it. I don’t believe you’re invincible. Astral Sword Domain!" Nalorin Sylvia shouted and unleashed the Domain tied to the Stellar Sword—the Astral Sword Domain.
Hum...
Stars lit the sky. Countless strands of starlight gathered, turning into cold gleams that rained down.
"That’s an indiscriminate attack Domain!" Johnnie’s face changed. He quickly pulled Benz and the others into the Map of Heaven and Earth and fell back fast.
Boom, boom...
A shower of stars fell, the power tearing everything apart.
The Light-and-Dark Sli took the brunt of it, but the light and dark law power around its body kept switching, blocking the falling stars.

Now and then, a damage number flashed.
"Hm?" Johnnie’s eyes lit up. He reacted at once and shouted, "When it switches elents, it can’t block damage!"
The two won noticed too. They shared a look and tid their strikes more precisely, landing hits during the switch.
For a while, the sli was in real trouble.
"You think only you have Domain power? Light-and-Dark Prison Domain!" it roared. Light and Dark Law surged around it, spreading fast into a powerful Domain that covered Johnnie and the others.

A strange wave of force pressed them down hard. The falling stars vanished at once.
"It’s a suppression Domain!" Nalorin Sylvia’s face darkened. Inside this powerful Domain, they couldn’t use any skills.
Worse, their Health points and MP started draining fast.
Light and darkness were corroding them.
"Get out!" The thin wings on Maiev’s back beat as she tried to escape.
Buzz!
But just then, chains made of light and dark elents appeared and wrapped them tight.
"Die—Light-and-Dark Annihilation!" the sli leader roared. Several light and dark orbs scread in and blasted them.
Boom!
[You were instantly killed by the Light-and-Dark Sli. Special Law Blessing: You revive on the spot]
System prompts popped up again. Johnnie was insta-killed on the spot.
Maiev and Nalorin Sylvia weren’t doing any better. Bound by the chains, they couldn’t break free for the mont. More light and dark orbs kept slamming down, and their Health points dropped like crazy.
If they couldn’t get out, the two of them would be in real danger.
Looks like I can only use Thunder Punishnt again!
Johnnie was helpless. His soul power had just recovered—he’d planned to trigger Thunder Punishnt in Blade King City. But now the two won were being suppressed by the Light-and-Dark Sli’s Domain and couldn’t escape at all.
He himself wouldn’t die here, but if the two of them fell, they wouldn’t recover anyti soon.
Johnnie dropped his suppression, letting his aura surge.

In an instant, thunder rolled across the sky. Dark clouds churned, covering several kiloters around them.

"It’s your doing!" the sli said coldly. Holy light flashed around it as a blade of light ford and slashed at Johnnie.
"Master, careful—it’s a soul attack!" Maiev warned, face changing.
Johnnie sensed it too. Brow furrowed, he used a soul skill of his own. A soul lightsword ford and thrust at the oncoming blade.
Buzz!
The two soul blades t and vanished.
"Ugh!"
Johnnie tasted blood. A thin line ran from the corner of his mouth as sharp pain stabbed through his head.
Soul backlash! The sli’s soul strength was far above his.
"You actually know soul skills too!" the Light-and-Dark Sli was surprised. Johnnie was hurt, but he had stopped the attack.
It tried to launch another soul strike to erase Johnnie, but it was too late.
Above, the clouds boiled. A bolt of tribulation lightning had already ford.
Boom!
A thick bolt of tribulation lightning tore the sky and crashed down, aid straight at Johnnie.
In an instant, the Light-and-Dark Prison Domain the sli had ford was ripped apart.
The mont Johnnie broke free, he used his space blink skill and flashed to a spot right under the Light-and-Dark Sli.
The huge lightning bolt followed right after.
"Not good!" the sli gasped. This heavenly tribulation draws power from the strongest under the cloud—in other words, it was strong enough to threaten a Domain. It couldn’t block it.
"Despicable!" it cursed, trying to dodge, but it was already too late.

With a thunderous crash, the world shook. The sli leader’s massive body was slamd into the ground. Arcs of lightning crawled over it, blood pouring.
Johnnie was shaken by the power of this heavenly tribulation too.
He was mostly fine, sheltered under the sli leader’s body, but he could feel the tribulation had grown stronger.
This Light-and-Dark Sli wasn’t as strong as Altair—it just had so special abilities.
Yet this ti the tribulation was clearly stronger than the lightning he summoned against Altair.
Even Maiev and Nalorin Sylvia in the distance were hit hard by the shockwaves.
"You two, go back to the Mountains and Rivers Realm." Johnnie said, and pulled them into the Map of Heaven and Earth.
Rumble...
Heaven and earth trembled as another bolt of tribulation lightning slowly ford.
Without hesitating, Johnnie rushed at the badly wounded sli leader again.
"Despicable human, how dare you!" the sli leader roared. The sli race’s bodies are special; they can’t withstand heavenly tribulations. They all ascend by divine essence, so tribulation is a huge threat to them.
Buzz!
Light-and-dark power rippled. The sli leader’s huge body began to split—one beca two, two beca four...
At the sa ti, its aura kept fading, as if it was trying to weaken the lightning by dividing itself.
