Sevenfold Severance is very strong, but Johnnie didn’t dare risk it.
With his luck, there’s no way it would only cost 10% of his max Health points each ti. If it takes 20% three tis, he’d be dead for sure.
This skill feels kind of useless.
Johnnie could only sigh. He didn’t plan to use it.
To raise Seven Sword again, he actually needs to slaughter a hundred million lives. But he felt no guilt. Most beings here had invaded Earth and brought ruin. Even if he killed them all, he wouldn’t care.
Still, pushing Seven Sword further won’t happen anyti soon.
Johnnie stopped dwelling on it and kept killing Slis.
More and more Slis showed up in the forest, even stage 8 and stage 9 Slis. But against Johnnie’s strong stats, they were still no match and fell in one strike.
As Slis kept dying, his The Mage of the Five Elents advancent quest progressed fast.
He only needed a bit over a hundred thousand tal-attribute Demonic Creatures and more than thirty thousand wood-attribute Demonic Creatures to finish the advancent.
"Master, the Sli nest seems to be up ahead." Jack warned, seeing Slis pouring in from all sides.
Johnnie nodded, unfazed. He sped up the slaughter on purpose to stir up the Sli leader.
Sword light flashed, and countless Slis were cut down.
Nalorin Sylvia and the others were having a rough ti, cleaning up the battlefield and collecting Sli mucus and Magic Cores.
They could hand all this to the Dark Golden Golem to refine and boost their strength.
"Master, can you slow down a bit?" Nalorin Sylvia complained.
By now, Johnnie had summoned a bunch of chanical Golems to help with the cleanup, but it was still tough for the group.
The Myriad Sword Technique hit insanely hard and covered a huge area. With so many Slis packed together here, thousands were getting Instant Killed every second.
Even though this was a Sli nest, no amount of numbers could stop a massacre on this scale.
[Ding, you have completed The Mage of the Five Elents stage 6 advancent quest. The Mage of the Five Elents has advanced to stage 6.]
[You have learned the Forbidden Spells: Vajra Indestructibility, The Myriad Phenona, Water-Curtain Celestial Blossom!, Hellfire, Earth’s Downfall.]
Right then, the system prompts flashed. Johnnie finally finished the advancent quest and reached stage 6.
"No Domain?"
Johnnie was a bit disappointed. When his Sword Immortal class reached stage 6, he gained a powerful Domain skill, the Sword Domain of Annihilation, though his current Mana points couldn’t sustain it for long.
But after he read these new skill descriptions, his disappointnt vanished. He was thrilled.

"What terrifying skills!" Johnnie blurted.
These Forbidden Spells are no weaker than a Domain—so even seem stronger than the Sword Domain of Annihilation.
Especially Vajra Indestructibility; immunity to control is exactly what he needs right now.
The only pity is the cost—they burn a percentage of Mana points. Water-Curtain Celestial Blossom! and Earth’s Downfall each use up 100% Mana points with one cast.
Maybe the cost will drop when their levels go up later.
Forbidden Spells don’t level up by proficiency. They rise when The Mage of the Five Elents advances, or by using a god-tier Skill Stone.
"God-tier Skill Stone? What’s that?" Johnnie muttered, puzzled. He had never heard of it.
Nalorin Sylvia, hearing him, explained, "Master, god-tier Skill Stones are used to level up skills at the Forbidden Spell tier and above. Do you need them?"
Johnnie nodded. "Yeah, I just learned a few Forbidden Spells."
"What? For—Forbidden Spells?" Nalorin Sylvia gasped, stunned. "Master, you must be joking. Only Divine powerhouses have a chance to learn Forbidden Spells. You’re only stage 6—how could you possibly learn them?"
Johnnie gave a slight smile and skipped the chatter. With a thought, he cast Water-Curtain Celestial Blossom!
Hum...
Space trembled as massive water-elent power gathered, and a huge curtain of water ford in front of him, like a city wall.
But his Mana points were drained dry.
"Water-Curtain Celestial Blossom!? It’s really a Forbidden Spell!" Nalorin Sylvia’s voice shook; she clearly knew this skill.
"Try attacking ." Johnnie said.
"Okay!" Nalorin Sylvia didn’t hesitate. She stepped back and struck with the ice-and-snow law. She knew how strong this skill was, so she didn’t hold back.
Boom, boom...
Explosions rang out. The water curtain shook, blocking eleven of her attacks before it finally shattered.
"Doesn’t seem that strong." Johnnie said, a bit disappointed.
Nalorin Sylvia stared, annoyed. "Master, what are you saying? I may be your disciple, but I’m also a Divine powerhouse. My damage is in the billions. This Water Shield of yours blocked more than ten of my hits."
Hearing that, Water-Curtain Celestial Blossom! did seem pretty good.
Johnnie also felt that with this powerful defensive Forbidden Spell, he could withstand missile strikes in the real world.
The only pity is the cost. One cast empties all his Mana points.
Looks like he should focus less on total Mana and more on recovery speed.
Right now, even with gear bonuses, his Mana recovery is only 3% per second—far from enough.
Maybe leveling these Forbidden Spells will also lower the cost.
"Sylvia, do you know where I can find god-tier Skill Stones?" Johnnie asked curiously.
Aside from advancing The Mage of the Five Elents, only god-tier Skill Stones can raise a Forbidden Spell’s level.
Nalorin Sylvia nodded. "I do, but with your current strength, you probably can’t get in. You need at least a stage 9, peak-level expert."
"Stage 9, peak to enter? What kind of place is it?" Johnnie asked, puzzled. He had never heard of such a special area.
"The Ancient Battlefield Ruins, also called the Gods’ Burial Ground!" Nalorin Sylvia’s eyes showed both longing and fear. "It seems tied to the disaster three thousand years ago. Countless gods and demons fell there. It holds endless treasures and skill inheritances. Even God-King experts can’t resist its lure."
"Really?" Johnnie grew even more curious. "Can I enter with an Illusory Body?"
Nalorin Sylvia shook her head. "No. It’s not a seal—it’s suppression by the Laws. And it’s extrely dangerous inside. Forget stage 9 peak experts; even I’m not allowed by my clan elders to set foot there."
"Is it dangerous to bring a Domain in?" Johnnie asked.
"Yes." she said, clearly wary. "If your Domain is destroyed, your Divine Soul will be devoured by the Laws there. Even God-King experts aren’t absolutely safe."
Such a place only made Johnnie more curious. But he was too weak right now. It wasn’t safe to go. Maybe when he reached stage 9 peak, he could try.
Johnnie stopped dwelling on it and kept slaughtering Elental Slis.
There were even more here, most at stage 8 or stage 9.
So rare and even epic-grade Slis showed up.
It looked like they were near the Sli nest.
Johnnie was excited. If all went well, killing one more Sli leader would give him another Elental Heart shard. Once he fused a complete Elental Heart, his power would jump again.
"Who dares slaughter my brood in my territory!"
A furious shout rang out. A crushing aura swept over them. From the distant woods, a huge figure sprang up and ca crashing down toward Johnnie and the others.
It was a Sli leader—a Half-God expert!
Johnnie didn’t dare be careless. He used Space Blink at once and flashed a hundred ters away.
Boom!
The ground shook as light and dark power raged, tearing everything apart nearby.
This one was an even rarer Light-and-Dark Law Sli. And it was in a fused state, not the split state Johnnie had seen before. Its strength was clearly greater.
"Master, be careful. Its soul waves are strong—it has soul attacks." Nalorin Sylvia warned.
Johnnie nodded lightly, not too concerned. After killing so many undead monsters, his soul recovery had improved. Normal soul attacks didn’t scare him.
"Hmph. You dare kill my offspring? Die!" The light-dark Sli roared and struck first. Beams ford from Light and Dark Laws and blasted toward Johnnie and the others, arriving in a blink.
