Online Game: I Started with Max Charisma and Caught the Goddess's Eye Chapter 337 Bond James Strikes! A Two-Pronged Attack! What A
The mont the black water ball made contact with the Starseeker, Luca felt an imnse force surge through his hand. The seemingly insignificant water ball felt as though it weighed a thousand pounds, enough to slightly deform the blade of Starseeker.
Then, the water ball exploded with a deafening roar. The overwhelming force shattered the stone shield to pieces, and the resulting water droplets shot out like bullets, slicing across his body and drawing blood.
Luca furrowed his brow slightly. Back in Leaf City, he had already used up most of his trump cards. Now, facing this armored turtle, he found himself at a loss.
Seeing this, Donlow and Fuzzsir stopped hesitating. Donlow's body was surrounded by swirling energy, his form resembling a sly rabbit as he lunged toward the Deepdark Giant Turtle. Fuzzsir, gripping his staff, conjured a black magic circle that expanded, unleashing dense death energy. The skeletal dragon that had appeared in Leaf City reappeared, summoned once more by Fuzzsir.
Roar!!! The two attacks succeeded in drawing the Deepdark Giant Turtle's attention. It opened its massive jaws and lunged at the approaching Skeletal Dragon. In response, the Skeletal Dragon released a torrent of bone-chilling death energy from its mouth, which enveloped the Deepdark Giant Turtle. The two colossal creatures collided with a thunderous crash, the sound reverberating through the entire Elf Forest like the roar of a thunderstorm.
Countless monsters in the area turned their gaze toward Elf's Harbor. Sensing the overwhelming pressure, fear flickered in their eyes as they scattered in all directions. Among them, a fiery-red figure dashed ahead—none other than the Fire Steed that had narrowly escaped from Luca's grasp earlier.
Seizing the mont of respite, Luca focused his thoughts. A brilliant blue light flickered as the lake water beneath the Deepdark Giant Turtle stirred. In an instant, the water transford into a massive, hundred-ter-tall hand made of flowing water, crashing toward the turtle.
Boom! A trendous, earth-shattering explosion rang out as the water hand shattered on impact. The Deepdark Giant Turtle's massive body was knocked over, sending countless trees and monsters tumbling under its weight. The creature, so large and cumberso, was unable to rise imdiately.
With such a perfect opportunity, the trio didn't waste any ti. The Skeletal Dragon lunged forward, sinking its teeth into the Deepdark Giant Turtle's neck. Donlow took a deep breath, his body swirling with white energy that suddenly surged in size, transforming into a silver-white giant python several hundred ters long. It opened its massive jaws and sped toward the turtle.
At the sa ti, Luca's eyes sparked with electric light. The sky above them began to shift as nine massive bolts of lightning, each as thick as a barrel, shot down from the heavens, crashing toward the Deepdark Giant Turtle with imnse power.
Boom!! Blood splattered, and a powerful shockwave surged, scattering shattered wood and dirt in all directions. The nine bolts of lightning coiled like chains, firmly trapping the Deepdark Giant Turtle within their grasp.
Roar!! A painful, furious cry rang in their ears as the Deepdark Giant Turtle lay on the ground, struggling to free itself from the chains of lightning. But Luca and the others would never give it that chance. Their attacks ca down like a torrential downpour.
In no ti, this seemingly mighty Superclass monster was being beaten down, unable to lift its head. Its health rapidly plumted. To prevent the beast from rising again, Luca unleashed Wind and Thunder Surge once more, adding nine lightning spears to further restrict the Deepdark Giant Turtle's movents.
"I've got it under control, you two focus on your attacks!" Luca said in a low voice, his Starseeker now covered in layers of frost. He dropped down, gripping the blade tightly, and thrust it violently into the turtle's neck. Blood erupted as the icy frost spread out like a spider's web across the creature's body, making it even harder for it to rise again.
Donlow and Fuzzsir knew this was a rare opportunity and imdiately went all-out, pouring all their strength into maximizing their damage.
Although the Deepdark Giant Turtle was far stronger than they were, Luca, using his Demonic Rune Mage abilities, controlled the battlefield from the side. With the combined power of the trio, the turtle's health began to drop rapidly.
The Deepdark Giant Turtle struggled and roared in anger, but its enormous size made its movents sluggish. Once it was controlled, it was incredibly difficult for it to break free.
At this rate, they should be able to defeat this dungeon boss in no ti.
Luca thought to himself as he watched the Deepdark Giant Turtle's health bar quickly dwindle.
However, just then, a sudden sense of danger flooded his mind.
A chill ran down his spine, making his eyes flicker in alarm.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Three arrows, glowing with a sinister purple light, shot toward the trio.
By the ti Luca tried to warn Donlow and Fuzzsir, it was already too late.
Puff! Puff! Donlow and Fuzzsir, caught completely off guard, had no ti to react as the arrows pierced their bodies. Their frenzied assault ca to an imdiate halt.
If it weren't for Luca's tily use of Wind Blade to deflect so of the arrows, Donlow and Fuzzsir might have been killed instantly. Even so, they both suffered serious wounds.
"What's going on?" Donlow stumbled to the ground, clutching her wounds, feeling a wave of weakness take over her body. She realized she had likely been poisoned. What angered and confused her was, who had attacked them?
"A bunch of rats hiding in the gutters," Fuzzsir muttered, irritated. His body was affected by necromantic magic, so regular toxins had little effect on him, and his situation was much better than Donlow's.
"Who's hiding back there? Co out!" Luca's expression darkened as he glared at the path they had co from. The three arrows had co from that direction.
Before the last word even left Luca's lips, his gaze fixed on the spot he was watching. The grass rustled, and out from the underbrush erged a group of elegantly dressed n and won. Leading them was none other than Bond Jas and Humr.
"Mr. Luca, I've heard of your na ever since the Imperial Capital. It is truly an honor to finally et you in person," Bond Jas said with a warm smile. Humr and the mbers of the Jas Family were all wearing malicious grins.
They had been wondering how to deal with Luca, never imagining that they'd be given such a perfect opportunity. It had co to them effortlessly.
"Jas Family?" Luca instantly recognized who they were. Although their appearances were sowhat different, Luca could still see traces of Celephais and Sky Jas in them.
Donlow and Fuzzsir also recognized them. Donlow, suppressing her anger, spoke coldly, "The Jas Family is getting more and more out of control. How dare you make a move against people from Morning Star? Are you planning a rebellion?"
"Miss Donlow, you really shouldn't speak so hastily," Bond Jas waved his hand toward the people behind him, still maintaining his smile without the slightest change in expression. "You were killed by the monsters in the node. What does that have to do with us, the Jas Family? If anything, Drumph will thank us for avenging you."
"Father, why waste ti talking to them?" Humr said impatiently. "Just kill these few and the position of head of the family will be ours."
The other mbers of the Jas Family now drew their weapons, the weakest among them still wielding Gold-grade gear. Bond Jas and his son, Humr, were both high-tier professionals.
The children of these great families had long since learned of the ga's descent, and with the resources of their families supporting them, their levels were far beyond what ordinary people could ever achieve.
More importantly, the Deepdark Giant Turtle was about to break free from their control.
In an instant, the trio of Luca, Donlow, and Fuzzsir found themselves trapped in an awkward situation, caught between two pressing threats.
"Luca, we..." Donlow pressed her hand to the wound on her arm, her face flushing an abnormal shade of red as the poison slowly ate away at her body.
Though Fuzzsir wasn't in imdiate danger, being so close to Luca, he knew it would be difficult to safely carry Donlow out of here.
"Fuzzsir, take care of Donlow," Luca said without much elaboration. He used mid-tier water magic runes to temporarily alleviate the wound and the poison in Donlow's body.
Then, he lifted his head to look at the sneering Bond Jas and the others approaching. His eyes narrowed slightly as he said, "I had originally planned to deal with you in the Imperial Capital, but I didn't expect you all to be so eager to co and deliver yourselves to death."
Bond Jas imdiately wiped the smile from his face and said, "You killed Celephais, fine. But then you went ahead and killed both the head of our Jas Family and the forr head. We can't let this go. If we don't take revenge, how would the Jas Family have any face left in the Imperial Capital?" Continue reading at My Virtual Library Empire
Humr coldly added, "Luca, to think you're still so arrogant when death is staring you in the face. Do you really think you can escape alive from us with your current strength?"
The other mbers of the Jas Family chid in with agreent.
While the ones who most wanted to see Northwood Jas and Humr Nan dead were, in fact, the very people standing here.
They couldn't show it now. After all, the future head of the Jas Family was right in front of them, and they needed to make a good impression.
"Luca, if you surrender now, I'll make it quick for you," Bond Jas said, his golden Battle Will surging around him, a vague giant tiger materializing behind him. His Diamond-level aura radiated freely. "And I will guarantee not to harm Miss Donlow or the others. I'll send them safely out of the node."
He gripped a spear covered in runes and looked at Luca with a narrowed gaze. "Of course, you only get one chance. If you wait until we make our move and then decide to surrender, by then, you won't even have that opportunity."
They had already investigated Luca's strength before coming here and knew that he was no ordinary high-tier player. His fight with the Deepdark Giant Turtle had already proven that.
That was why Bond Jas hoped to convince Luca with the least effort possible. If he succeeded, it would be great; if not, there would be no loss. But to his surprise, when Luca heard his offer, he didn't reject it, nor did he accept it. Instead, a strange smile suddenly appeared on his face.
That smile was unsettling and sowhat eerie. It made Bond Jas and Humr feel confused.
"What are you laughing at?" Bond Jas furrowed his brow.
Luca sneered mockingly, "I'm laughing because you all are about to die and still don't realize it."
