anwhile, in the Clinton Empire, Dawn City’s palace. Inside an elegantly decorated study, Fratis sat behind a rosewood desk, dressed in a luxurious white velvet robe, looking down at various political reports from all over the realm.

Evelyn was standing beside him, sorting through a pile of docunts.

Fratis set down the latest battlefield report from the Eastern Territory and frowned slightly. "According to the information, the Third Legion of the Via Empire has arrived at the border of the Eastern Territory, and two Via Empire congressn are among them. Both of them have reached the Transcendent level. The situation is unfavorable for us. Duke Collison of the Eastern Territory won’t be able to hold them off for long. Evelyn, give my orders to Winston—send thirty thousand troops to the Eastern Territory to stabilize the situation for now."

Evelyn nodded. "I will inform Lord Winston."

After a brief pause, she glanced at Fratis, who had once again lowered his head to continue going through the docunts, and couldn’t help but remind him, "Your Majesty, it’s ti for a break. Dinner has already been prepared, and it’s all food you like."

"Have the food brought in," Fratis replied, rubbing his temples, his face showing an unmistakable sign of fatigue. "I plan to finish dealing with the Eastern Territory matters before resting."

Evelyn opened her mouth but ultimately let out a long sigh.

The issues in the Sea of Mist had co to an end, and although the entrance to the Abyssal Demon Realm had been sealed off by Luca, the situation had not cald. In fact, it had worsened.

Congressman Rod Valvis had been killed, and fewer than half of the hundred thousand soldiers who had been sent back. The remaining six congressn from the Via Empire were enraged and gathered two hundred thousand troops to launch an attack on the Clinton Eastern Territory.

Tensions between the two nations, which had already been high, finally erupted into open conflict, marking the beginning of war across the Eternal Continent.

anwhile, the struggles for supremacy in the northern All-Beings Empire had intensified. The Dragon King Rogers Borosi and the Crimson King Ogg Stuart had already reached the point of irreconcilable conflict.

Recently, the Black Dragon Marcel had sohow obtained evidence of Ogg’s collusion with monsters. After Dragon King Jace Borosi received the proof, he ford an alliance with the Winged King and the Fire King to launch a campaign against Ogg’s territory.

However, these two kings were clearly intent on weakening the Dragon King’s forces by prolonging the conflict. They secretly mobilized their own power, making the campaign last even longer.

As a result, the situation in the All-Beings Empire had reached a standstill.

All in all, the entire Eternal Continent was now embroiled in wars, with undercurrents of tension everywhere. Every nation was on edge, and a larger-scale war could break out at any mont.

As the ruler of the Clinton Empire, Fratis not only had to manage the empire’s affairs but also deal with the external threats from other countries that were eyeing his kingdom. Every mont required vigilance, and it was easy to imagine the imnse pressure he had to endure.

However, as the Queen of Clinton, this was a responsibility she was bound to bear.

Evelyn exited the study and passed down Fratis’s orders, before instructing a servant to bring in the al.

Once the al and utensils were set on the table, the servant pushed the dining cart out of the room.

Looking at the delicious, aromatic dishes on the table, Fratis’s furrowed brow relaxed slightly. She set down her quill and turned to Evelyn, saying, "Duke Evelyn, please join and have so food."

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Evelyn responded politely, but she did not sit down. Instead, she moved forward to attend to Fratis during the al.

Fratis did not say anything further. She picked up a spoon and tasted the at soup in front of her.

However, after just one sip, she set the spoon down.

Evelyn asked, "Does it not suit Your Majesty’s taste?"

Fratis shook her head. After hesitating for a mont, she asked, "Has there been no news of him?"

Evelyn’s movents faltered, and then she shook her head, sighing. "President Augustine and Principal Selin used Transcendent-level secret thods, but they only found traces of the Solar Divine Spear. As for Luca and Sophia..."

Seeing the sadness in Fratis’s expression, she did not continue. Since Luca had sealed off the portal to the Abyssal Realm, it was as if he had vanished from the world—no trace remained.

Almost all the soldiers in the Western Territory had been mobilized, yet none had found any sign of him. It was as though the brilliant young man, whose radiance had been like the sun itself, had never existed.

Fratis quickly composed herself and said, "Continue sending people to search."

Noticing that Evelyn seed to be holding back sothing, Fratis waved her hand and spoke calmly, "I believe he is still alive. He could not have died so easily."

Evelyn didn’t say much in response; she simply nodded. She, too, did not believe Luca could have died like this. After all, he was soone whose brilliance had shone brightly throughout Clinton’s history for thousands of years.

However, when she thought back to the scene when Luca had collapsed, she couldn’t help but feel so doubt. A person whose divine soul and body had completely dissipated—could they truly survive?

Evelyn didn’t know. After all, nothing like this had ever happened in the history of the Eternal Continent.

At that mont, Fratis seed to rember sothing and asked, "Where is the Solar Divine Spear now?"

Evelyn answered, "President Augustine is keeping it safe. Would you like to bring the artifact here?"

Fratis was about to respond when, suddenly, hurried footsteps were heard outside. Then, the door to the study was pushed open.

"There’s news! There’s news about Luca!" Augustine, wearing his pajamas and disregarding his appearance, rushed in. His wrinkled face was full of excitent.

In his hands, he was holding the golden, nacing long spear. The Solar Divine Spear was now emitting a faint golden glow, pulsing like it was breathing, almost as if it were resonating with sothing.

"What?" Upon hearing his words, both Evelyn and Fratis froze for a mont before expressions of joy spread across their faces.

Fratis imdiately stood up, not even reprimanding Augustine for his lack of decorum, her voice filled with urgency. "Where is Luca now? How did you find him?"

Since Fratis beca the Queen of Clinton, Evelyn had rarely seen her lose control like this, which showed just how significant this news was for her.

Augustine didn’t waste any ti. He spoke truthfully, "Just now, the Solar Divine Spear detected Luca’s aura. I used a secret thod to trace it, and found that the aura is emanating from an Abyssal Node in the southern region!"

Upon hearing this, Fratis imdiately turned to Evelyn and Augustine and said, "Let’s go right now!"

...

anwhile, in the Elf Forest.

A towering figure, resembling a mountain, stood before them. Its crimson eyes glowed like lanterns, and its massive shadow engulfed Luca and his companions. The overwhelming aura surged towards them like a tidal wave.

Torrential lake waters fell from the sky, and a terrifying presence engulfed the entire forest.

"Damn! What a huge turtle!" Fuzzsir looked up at the colossal creature in front of him, unable to help but exclaim in surprise.

The creature was so enormous that it nearly occupied the entire Elf’s Harbor. In comparison, the three of them seed as insignificant as ants.

"So, this is the BOSS of the Elf Forest?" Donlow also felt the shock.

Only when standing face to face with such a Superclass entity could one truly grasp how small they were.

Her view was nearly completely blocked, and this was not even the full extent of the Deepdark Giant Turtle’s body.

Luca, however, didn’t show any change in his expression. He drew the newly forged Starseeker and said, "You two stay here."

With that, the long blade in his hand ignited with fiery red flas, and black winds began to swirl around him. A pair of black wind wings spread from his back.

In the blink of an eye, he transford into a black streak of light and appeared right before the Deepdark Giant Turtle.

Roar!!! The Deepdark Giant Turtle, seeing this tiny insect before it, revealed a brutal look in its scarlet eyes. It recognized him as the one who had disturbed its sleep.

"Shut up!" Luca’s eyes were cold and ruthless, not giving the creature any ti to react. With a swift flick of his wrist, the Starseeker, burning with flas, cut through the air with a ripping sound and fiercely slashed toward the Deepdark Giant Turtle’s head.

Boom!! A thunderous roar erupted, and flas swept through the air, instantly engulfing the Deepdark Giant Turtle’s massive, nacing head. Under the intense heat, the surrounding lake water turned into white mist. However, before they could even rejoice, the mist parted, and a massive blood-red mouth, exuding an unparalleled aura, rushed toward Luca, as if it intended to swallow him whole. To their shock, the strike Luca had just landed on the turtle didn’t seem to have caused any harm at all.In response to the Deepdark Giant Turtle’s attack, Luca’s feet glowed with silver light as he activated Air Step. His form vanished from its original spot, and he reappeared on top of the giant turtle’s head, narrowly avoiding the devastating blow.

Looking down at the spot where his attack had landed, Luca saw nothing but a blackened mark, with not even a crack in the turtle’s defenses. He couldn’t help but furrow his brow, realizing that things were more complicated than he had anticipated.

This monster has such high defense.

The Deepdark Giant Turtle’s level had reached Earth-level. Although it moved slowly, its power and defense were terrifying, boosted by its BOSS status.

Even with Luca’s current ability to easily slay high-ranking monsters, he found it difficult to inflict substantial damage. Taking it down would likely require so effort.

Just as he was thinking this, he suddenly felt a powerful wind strike from behind. His heart tensed imdiately. Without ti to think, he activated Air Step again, disappearing from his current position and reappearing several dozen ters away.

Whoosh!! A thick tail, resembling that of a serpent, swept past, and at the tip of it was a gigantic, tooth-filled mouth. The dense array of razor-sharp white teeth made anyone who looked at them shudder.

It was then that the trio realized the turtle had two heads.

Seeing Luca dodge its attack, the Deepdark Giant Turtle wasn’t willing to back down. It opened its massive jaws, and the surrounding water vapor within a ten-kiloter radius quickly gathered. In an instant, the vapor compressed into a black water ball the size of a ter inside its mouth. It then launched the ball toward Luca like a cannonball.

With Air Step still in cooldown, Luca raised his long blade to block in front of him. His body was enveloped in yellowish-brown and golden patterns as sand and stone materialized around him, forming a massive stone shield that completely covered him.
