"What do you an by that?" Bond Jas furrowed his brow. Before he could understand, a sudden surge of powerful energy fluctuations ca from behind them.

Then ca a series of deafening explosions. Several mbers of the Jas Family were blown to pieces in an instant.

"What... what's going on?" Bond Jas and the others turned around in shock and saw that, at so point, dozens of cloaked figures had appeared behind them.

And these individuals were no ordinary players—they were all high-level. These cloaked figures were now attacking, and in just a few breaths, several Jas Family mbers had already collapsed in pools of blood. The sudden turn of events left many people stunned and confused, unable to grasp what was happening, and only able to frantically defend themselves.

How could there be an ambush here? And how was it happening right behind them? Bond Jas, too, was thrown into a state of disarray.

As he finally began to react and was about to order the Jas Family to go on the defensive, a few figures had already pushed through the crowd, reaching right in front of them.

The leader, a person wearing a black veil, held a long sword. With a swift motion, they slashed towards Bond Jas' neck, the speed so fast that the air itself seed to tear apart.

Bond Jas didn't have ti to think. He imdiately sidestepped to avoid the attack. Just as he was about to shout at these sneaky attackers, he suddenly heard a soft "whoosh," like the sound of a water pipe being slashed. His body froze as he turned to look. He saw Humr clutching his own neck with both hands, blood pouring out from between his fingers, his face twisted in shock and terror.

"Humr!" Bond Jas couldn't believe that the person had targeted his son. He rushed forward, pulling out various rare healing items, trying to stop the bleeding. However, the masked person wasn't about to let them off that easily. In a flash, the figure blocked Bond Jas' path.

"You're asking for death!" Seeing his son on the brink of death, Bond Jas no longer cared about anything else. His golden Battle Will erupted like a tidal wave, forcing the masked person back. Then, he quickly moved to Humr's side, desperately feeding him several types of high-grade healing potions, barely keeping him alive.

Bond Jas breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing his son's condition stabilize, and was about to turn his focus to dealing with these attackers. But before he could take any action, he once again heard the sound of air being torn apart.

Whoosh! Another shadow flashed past, and a long blade ca crashing down toward his head. Though Bond Jas was skilled, with Humr right beside him, there was no way for him to dodge in ti. He had no choice but to take the blow head-on.

Thud! The blade flashed through the air, severing Bond Jas' arm at the shoulder, and blood spurted out like a fountain.

"Ah!!" His face twisted in agony as an unbearably painful scream tore from his throat. The black-clad figure kicked him in the chest, sending him flying backward.

Then, under Humr's terrified gaze, the long blade ca down for the third ti.

Blood sprayed everywhere, and Bond Jas could only watch in horror as his son's head was cleaved from his body. Humr's headless corpse crashed to the ground, sending Bond Jas into a blind rage, his vision nearly turning red with fury.

At the sa ti, a deep, inescapable sense of dread gnawed at him.

The black-clad attackers were incredibly powerful. Clearly, they had received professional training, and their target was unmistakably the Jas Family. They didn't seem to care about Luca or the others; they were solely focused on eliminating the Jas Family mbers. Soon, the cries of the Jas Family echoed through the entire Elf Forest, and within a short amount of ti, only a handful of people from the high-level node entry remained—less than ten.

"Who the hell are you? Why are you attacking the Jas Family?!" Bond Jas clutched his severed arm, his face alternating between deep red and pale white. His son was dead, and his arm was gone. The surge of rage and confusion in his heart was overwhelming. Everything had happened so quickly, leaving him with no ti to react.

It wasn't just him—Donlow and Fuzzsir were equally stunned, their faces full of disbelief as they tried to grasp what was happening. The only one who remained unfazed throughout the whole ordeal was Luca, his expression unchanged as though he had already expected everything. Stay updated via My Virtual Library Empire

The leader of the black-clad figures wiped the blood off his blade and casually reached up to remove the black mask covering his face.

Looking down at Bond Jas, who was now left with just one arm, the leader smiled lightly. "Uncle Bond Jas, it's been only a few days since we last t. You don't recognize , do you?"

The familiar face made Bond Jas' expression freeze in shock. His eyes widened, and he stamred, "Sky Jas?! How are you here?"

Bond Jas was stunned because the person standing before him was none other than Sky Jas—the sa man he had seen only a few days ago at the Jas Family estate in the Imperial Capital. He never would have imagined encountering him here, of all places.

Once Bond Jas processed everything, he realized that Luca's calm deanor was the key. Even if he was slow on the uptake, he understood what had happened.

The shock on Bond Jas' face quickly shifted to pure rage. He pointed his remaining finger at Sky Jas and shouted, "So it was all part of your plan!

"You damn traitor! Do you even realize what you're doing?!"

At this mont, Bond Jas was filled with murderous intent. He never could have imagined that their biggest enemy wasn't Luca, but soone from within their own family.

Sky Jas, however, seed completely unfazed. "Uncle Bond Jas, you can't say that. After all, there's no rule that says I can't cooperate with Luca."

After the family eting at the Jas Family estate in the Imperial Capital, Sky Jas had imdiately contacted Luca and exposed the entire plan to kill him.

While Humr Nan wanted to use the family's power to avenge his brother Southwind Jas, Sky Jas thought that cooperating with Luca was the optimal solution, rather than making a powerful enemy.

Luca's strength and potential were evident to everyone. If he could secure such a formidable ally, even without taking the position of head of the Jas Family, it would still be a profitable deal for Sky Jas.

Undoubtedly, it was a gamble, and a high-risk one at that. If Luca died or if their plan was exposed, Sky Jas could end up with nothing. But with high risk ca high reward. If their plan succeeded, the benefits would go far beyond simply controlling the Jas Family.

"Take care of them. I'll handle the big guy," Luca said, not paying much attention to the Jas Family situation. His focus was entirely on the Deepdark Giant Turtle, which had managed to get back on its feet.

At this point, the greatest threat to them was still the massive BOSS of the Elf Forest.

"Don't worry about the mobs. Leave this to ." Sky Jas gave a reassuring gesture, not wanting to waste any more ti on the already-dead bodies around them.

"Kill them." He waved his hand, and the assassins he had secretly trained sprung into action. The attack on Bond Jas' group grew more violent as they launched another frantic assault on the remaining mbers of the Jas Family.

Bond Jas' forces had already suffered heavy losses due to Sky Jas and the others' surprise attack. Now, they had no ability to fight back. No matter how they begged for rcy, all they received was the sharp edge of a blade.

Roar!! At that mont, the Deepdark Giant Turtle launched its counterattack. It threw its head back and let out a furious roar. Massive black waves, like a tsunami, erupted from its enormous body and ca crashing down toward Luca and the others.

At this mont, Donlow and Fuzzsir could no longer focus on watching the internal conflict within the Jas Family. They imdiately unleashed all of their power to block the incoming attack.

Luca, taking a deep breath, his eyes flashing with cold light, activated a silver-white magic rune beneath his feet. In an instant, the temperature in the entire Elf Forest seed to drop.

White frost, like roots, spread from him, and ice crystals began to form in mid-air. They quickly condensed into a massive, lifelike white dragon. Winter White Dragon!

With a thought, the frosty white dragon flapped its wings and took flight. At the sa ti, the Skeletal Dragon, wrapped in endless death energy, and the silver-white giant python surrounded by vigorous energy, charged toward the incoming black tidal wave.

The mont the two forces collided, an overwhelming explosion of power erupted. The frost instantly froze the black wave, and even the Deepdark Giant Turtle was covered with a thick layer of frost. Its enormous body was once again frozen in place.

The Skeletal Dragon and the energy-charged giant python exploded on the giant turtle's body. Its previously indestructible shell now seed incredibly fragile, as cracks imdiately ford all over it. The blood, not even having ti to spill, froze into solid chunks of ice.

This caused the Deepdark Giant Turtle to show a look of fear in its eyes. It had previously dismissed these "ants," but now, it felt an overwhelming sense of death emanating from Luca and his allies.

However, it was too late for regret. Luca, now engulfed in raging flas, appeared suddenly not far from the Deepdark Giant Turtle. He raised his hand toward the sky, and scarlet magic runes expanded in the air. An endless sea of fire condensed into a massive palm, nearly one hundred ters wide, and slamd down onto the giant beast in front of him!

Boom!! The sky was filled with exploding flas, and the shockwave swept out like a tidal wave in all directions. The ground cracked open with deep, bottomless ravines, and the entire Elf Forest trembled under the force of the strike.

When everything finally settled, the massive Deepdark Giant Turtle lay charred and stiff in place.

Luca approached and casually slapped its shell.

Crack!

Cracks appeared on the turtle's shell, and in the next second, it exploded into a cloud of ashes.
