Berserk!
Leon then decided to use his second forbidden skill, even though he knew there would be massive backlash afterward, but at this point it didn’t matter anymore.
With a sudden massive gain of strength, speed, and everything else, Leon’s aura flared to new never-seen highs, and he dashed forward with incredible velocity.
His speed was so fast even the ti overseer seed surprised by the sudden increase, but only for a split second before he regained his composure.
Because once more, he stopped ti to move out of the way of Leon’s attack.
But the [Berserk] empowered Leon didn’t care about that, because as soon as ti returned, he already arrived in front of the ti overseer in a fraction of a second.
This forced the overseer to do the sa thing again, and again, over and over without any break.
Even though [Berserk] only activated for three seconds total, it was more than enough ti for Leon to attempt to attack hundreds of tis in rapid succession.
And once the skill’s effects were almost completely over and Leon was about to collapse, the ti overseer finally decided to retaliate.
SLASH!
The [Ti Overseer] swung his scepter and cut Leon’s body in half with a streak of light that bisected him completely.
Leon didn’t understand why the ti overseer would do that at that specific mont, but as he gazed at his eyes, even through the mask, Leon saw sothing akin to... nervousness.
’...He’s nervous? But why?’
His eyes widened as he saw that, realizing sothing crucial: the ti overseer’s ti stop ability wasn’t infinite in its use.
He actually had to rest between each use, and since Leon didn’t let him have any breaks, he had been completely exhausted from using it so many tis.
If he hadn’t killed Leon at that exact mont, he would have been hit for the first ti.
Which ant... that he couldn’t dodge forever.
"Haha..." the ti overseer laughed nervously, "Truly amazing, you actually managed to push to my limits..."
Ding!
[You have died.]
Leon found himself in the dark void once more, and the [Altar of Life], as well as the ten souls surrounding it, all gazed at him with curious expressions.
"...Do y’all have any idea on how to beat that guy?" Leon asked the souls.
The ten souls which he had fought during his first god-rank assessnt simply shrugged in unison, offering no useful advice.
"Oh well, it was worth asking," Leon sighed.
The [Altar of Life] activated once more, and after a few seconds of reconstruction, Leon woke up in the real world as his body was fully healed and restored.
But as he woke up, Leon suddenly realized sothing important that hadn’t happened before.
’Wait, I didn’t pass out from using Berserk...?’
Berserk should have definitely forced him to pass out due to the forbidden skill’s massive backlash on his body.
But perhaps, dying was so much more of a punishnt that it completely overrode the skill’s negative effects.
’Interesting,’ Leon thought to himself, filing that information away for future use.
Leon felt that he was just fine and completely functional, and after the ti overseer advanced ti by two days in the outside world to allow Leon’s [Life Vessel] title to recharge, he got ready once again for another round.
Afterward, a very long ti passed, with Leon trying anything he could to even get close to hitting the overseer.
He ca close to overwhelming the ti overseer’s ti stop several tis with his relentless attacks, but each ti that happened, the man simply killed him before he could land a hit.
And just like that, over one month passed in the outside world while Leon was trapped in this endless cycle of death and revival.
’Over one full month...’ Leon’s expression darkened with worry, ’Emilia and Celeste must be so worried about by now.’
He gritted his teeth in frustration at the situation.
"So fun~" the ti overseer laughed with genuine enjoynt, "I’ve never had such an interesting person appear here in all my existence!"
"I have a question before we end this," Leon spoke calmly as he gazed at the figure before him, "If you’re so strong, why do you even stay here in this tower instead of leaving?"
"Hm?" the ti overseer tilted his head curiously.
"You’re able to stop ti, and are above level 100, so why aren’t you in the [Eternal Domain] with all the other powerful beings?"
The ti overseer’s eyes twitched as he heard that question, but he answered honestly after a mont of silence.
"I got kicked out of there by so of the gods who feared my powers, mainly the [God of Ti], [God of Abyss] and [Goddess of Void]."
"Are you stronger than them then?" Leon asked.
"Not even close," the ti overseer looked down bittersweetly, "But it is fine, I can remain here and live out my existence in peace."
"Alright, I understand," Leon simply nodded his head.
Without waiting any longer, he opened his [Storage Space] and prepared to do sothing he had been holding back on.
It was quite obvious what he was doing was never gonna work against the ti overseer no matter what, in fact Leon believed he had spent too much ti ignoring the truth of the situation.
And now, he didn’t care anymore about hiding what he could do or what items he had in his possession.
He pulled out the ten [Supre Agility Enhancent (S-Level)] sub-talent scrolls and started to use them one by one in rapid succession.
Beep!
[Enhancent failed.]
Beep!
[Enhancent failed.]
Beep!
[Enhancent failed.]
The [Ti Overseer] didn’t do anything to stop Leon at that mont, as watching him attempt to power up seed to interest him a lot more than interfering.
It was only until the ninth sub-talent scroll that sothing different finally happened.
Ding!
[Enhancent successful!]
’Oh shit!’ Leon’s eyes widened with genuine shock and excitent.
Ding!
[Your S-Level Sub-Talent "Supre Agility Enhancent" has evolved into SS-Level "Supre Agility Enhancent "]
And that ant a massive boost to his speed.
[Supre Agility Enhancent (SS-Level): Permanently increases agility by 300%.]
