Leon prepared himself as he faced the [Ti Overseer] directly, his eyes glowing with determination as he got ready to launch his first attack against this seemingly unbeatable opponent.

Of course, Leon knew deep down that it was probably useless to even try, but the ti overseer himself had said that it wasn’t "impossible" to hit him, so he wanted to test what kind of leeway he actually had in this challenge.

With one swift dash that pushed his speed to its absolute limit, Leon closed the distance between himself and the [Ti Overseer] in an instant and swung his sword with all his might.

But right as the blade was about to collide with the figure’s body, sothing unexpected happened, or well, it was actually expected in that context.

BOOM!

An explosion of temporal energy erupted from the [Ti Overseer] and ti completely stopped around Leon, freezing him in place mid-swing.

By the ti ti returned to normal, the ti overseer had simply moved away to another spot completely unhard as Leon’s sword slashed through nothing but empty air.

He didn’t back away though as he attempted it again imdiately, attacking once more with renewed determination.

"Just for your information, I allow you to keep your consciousness even when ti stops," the figure grinned at Leon, "Because if I wanted to really ss with you... I could do this instead."

BOOM!

Ti stopped again as Leon was about to attack, but this ti around, he wasn’t actually able to see any movent whatsoever.

One mont the ti overseer was standing right before him, and the very next nanosecond he had completely disappeared from sight.

The [Ti Overseer] allowed Leon to be able to see and register what was happening even when ti was stopped around him.

But if he wanted not to allow that, he could simply choose to hide everything, making it seem like the ti overseer was teleporting for him rather than just moving while ti was frozen.

Leon repeated that many more tis over the next hour, attacking from every angle and with every technique he knew, but as expected, he couldn’t even co close to hitting him even once.

Beating an opponent that could stop ti at will was simply impossible, no matter how Leon thought about it or what strategy he tried to employ.

In fact, to truly showcase this massive difference in power between them, the ti overseer decided to go on the offensive.

"Dodge this if you can," the ti overseer laughed mockingly.

And as he stopped ti to dodge a few spells Leon launched at him, he appeared right in front of the human player and swung his fist directly at his chest.

And as ti returned at the very last mont, Leon didn’t have nearly enough agility to be able to dodge this attack in ti.

BOOM!

The sheer strength of the attack was so incredibly powerful that it sent Leon flying backward and made him hit the wall behind him with bone-crushing force.

But that wasn’t the worst part of the situation because...

"Oh shit," the ti overseer actually panicked a little as he saw Leon’s body go limp on the ground, "I killed him by accident..."

Ding!

[You have died.]

The difference in power between them was simply too much to overco, with even a single casual attack from the ti overseer being able to kill Leon outright.

The ti overseer had the ability to control ti itself, but he didn’t have the ability to bring back the dead either, aning that he truly thought he had killed the human player permanently.

Yet right as he approached Leon’s lifeless body to check on him, sothing miraculous happened.

Fwoosh!

Blue light surrounded Leon’s body as cracks appeared all over it, and after a few seconds of reconstruction, Leon got back up to his feet.

"...Incredible," the ti overseer’s eyes widened with genuine surprise, "You can actually revive yourself after death...?"

"Only once every 48 hours, so please don’t kill again," Leon groaned as he stretched his newly restored limbs.

"Oh?"

Hearing that limitation, a malevolent glow appeared in the ti overseer’s face, and he raised his scepter high into the air.

Fwoosh!

With a single swing of his scepter, the sky above the ti tower began to change rapidly, or more precisely, ti started to advance at an incredible speed.

Leon watched as in a matter of seconds, the sky went from dark and filled with countless stars to bright blue dayti, then once again dark, then blue again, and once again returning to its original state.

"You..." Leon’s eyes widened as he realized exactly what was happening.

Ding!

["Life Vessel" is usable again.]

"With that little trick, it should be perfectly fine," the ti overseer laughed heartily, "Every ti you die, I’ll simply advance ti to allow you to co back, in fact, I’ll do it with any of your abilities that require ti to recharge!"

It might sound like a great deal on the surface, but to Leon, it also ant that each ti he died, two full days passed outside in the real world.

Each ti he died during this challenge... he needed to make Emilia and Celeste wait two additional days without knowing what had happened to him.

Leon tried repeatedly to attack afterward, over and over, but truly nothing could co close to hitting the ti overseer.

All of his spells were either avoided completely or even deflected with a single casual sway of the overseer’s scepter.

OBLIVION TEOR!

After around two hours of constant failure, Leon even summoned his forbidden spell’s power, the massive teor taking up the entirety of the ti tower’s top platform.

But alas, even that wasn’t enough to make a difference.

Fwoosh!

The ti overseer simply stopped ti once again, and that ant the teor also stopped moving in place as well, frozen in midair.

Then with a wide grin...

SLASH!

He cut the teor cleanly in half using a streak of light from his scepter, shattering it entirely as its remains fell out of the ti tower and disappeared into the void below.

Even a forbidden spell wasn’t enough to make the overseer even budge an inch from his position.
