He looks around at the busy bank floor. All the staff mbers were present. They were still guiding the large number of people who were there to open accounts or apply for loans. They were helping them get all their necessary work done.
Then rembering Adam’s urgent words Andrew gestured to all the senior staff mbers present there. He called them to him with a sharp nod of his head.
Because of this all the senior staff mbers imdiately excused themselves from their duties and went inside the main office to et with him. They knew it must be sothing important.
Although these were all senior staff mbers. The junior mbers were still out on the bank floor working here and there helping the remaining custors.
Then Andrew saw that all the senior staff mbers he had summoned had co into the office. These were the departnt heads and managers the people who held high positions in the bank’s hierarchy.
He looked at their curious faces and said "Listen to carefully. So people want to take advantage of this bank of ours. They want to take away this job of yours. They want to push you back to the sa place from where you ca. Back to the poverty and hopelessness you all escaped."
Hearing this those people were very surprised.
A murmur of confusion went through the room. They did not know what Andrew was talking about. Their bank was a massive success a beacon of hope in the city. Who would want to harm it?
Then Andrew stood up from the chair behind the large desk. He walked around it and went to stand near them. He spoke with a lot of anger and passion in his voice. "But I and all of us are standing together. We will not let them win." Those people were very confused about what Andrew was saying. His words were vague and alarming.
And Andrew was also saying these things deliberately. He could not tell them the full truth.
Because if he suddenly dropped the bomb on them that the governnt’s investigative agencies were already after them then so people would panic.
They might give up and quit on the spot. And if that happened their cover would be blown. Especially Smith’s.
And Andrew like Adam did not want to bring Smith forward into this danger. He knew that Smith was still young. Although he had a lot of capability and talent.
But he was still very young in age. He was just a high school student. That is why they had to save Smith from the governnt agencies at any cost. He had to be protected.
Andrew looked at all of their worried faces. He gave them a story that was believable. "So fake people in an attempt to get money from us have threatened us," he said.
Hearing this a man stepped forward. He was one of the first employees who had been working in this bank since the day it opened. And he respected Andrew a lot. And he respected Smith too. He had seen their hard work and dedication firsthand. He cleared his throat and said "Sir Andrew what are you talking about? We all don’t understand."
Then Andrew looked at him and then at everyone else in the room. He said "So corrupt people from the governnt want to fra us in a small case. They are asking for money from us. And they are also telling us to hire their own acquaintances in your place in this bank. Which Smith and all of us have refused to their face. That’s why they are threatening us."
Hearing this all the people present there looked at each other. They started to worry a lot. They had all been given these jobs based on their rit. The idea that they could be replaced by soone’s nephew or cousin was a terrifying thought.
They could lose everything they had worked so hard for. Then seeing them worrying Andrew smiled. He said "But we have a plan for you."
"We have taken a stand for you. So if any governnt agency officer cos to you and tries to scare you do not be afraid. It is just a threat. That is why I have co to you. And along with this you also do not have to tell the agency officers about Smith."
When all the people present there heard Andrew’s words in the beginning they were very surprised. And a little fear also started to erge in their minds.
But after hearing Andrew’s words they understood that these governnt agency people were after their jobs.
Andrew had done this deliberately. Which was a lie. But he was doing this so that he could get these people on his side.
And Andrew’s plan here started to beco completely successful. All the people started to beco determined in a way.
Then he looked at all of them and said "Go and tell all the people in the office. Any governnt agency person cos. Whichever file he tries to touch. Whatever he does let him do it. And whatever he asks you you have to remain silent. Because our lawyers are standing behind you. Who do not give you any permission to speak." Hearing this those people understood what Andrew was trying to say.
Many people in the governnt departnts have such a habit. Who misuse the governnt law. And by trapping common people in their net they get their work done from them.
Hearing this the people present there looked at Andrew. With a lot of admiration and inspiration.
Then they said together "Sir Andrew don’t you worry. We will not say anything to anyone about Smith." Saying this those people looked at Andrew.
Then Andrew said "Spread this word among all the staff mbers right now." Hearing this all the people started to leave from there. Then Andrew stopped all of them.
He said "And yes you don’t know either." Hearing this those people looked at each other. They nodded their heads and left from there.
