There was also evidence, each and every piece needed to be described in the report. After finishing the long report, a summary and a condensed version had to be written, making Jimmy, who usually didn't write reports, especially irritable.

"Knock, knock, knock." Jimmy looked up and saw Ruiz outside. He quickly stood up to welco him, "Co in, Ruiz. Is there sothing you need?"

"Congratulations, Jimmy, for a rookie to handle such a case is no easy feat," Ruiz remarked. Not just any FBI agent gets to work on such a big case, and this one was investigated from what appeared to be a trivial accident.

Jimmy smiled and shook his head, "It's just good luck, and because everyone believed in , otherwise this case would have been handed over to soone else long ago."

Ruiz: "Don't be modest, Jimmy. The low profile nature prevalent in your traditions doesn't fly here. You have to try to showcase yourself as much as possible."

Ruiz and Jimmy sat on the couch. Jimmy didn't bother making tea but directly grabbed two cans of Coke from the side and placed them on the coffee table. Knowing Jimmy liked Coke, Ruiz reached for a can, opened it, and took a sip, "Right, the reason I'm here is because there's been so progress regarding the video from last ti."

"The person from the last video, have you found him? I think his na was Squirrel." Jimmy hadn't followed up since he first asked Noah for help in the investigation, trusting that Ruiz would definitely see it through to the end.

Placing the Coke on the table, Ruiz cautioned, "Don't get agitated with what I'm about to tell you." He looked at Jimmy, who was sitting attentively, "Squirrel has been found. The surveillance team tracked him and discovered he's in contact with soone we know. This person is Reina Franjes from the Dixie Family."

Jimmy clenched his fists, that person he would certainly never forget. Back when he had asked Jas about past events, Jas had made it clear he was waiting for further news from Jimmy. This person was Plaskey County police departnt's disgrace, a burden on the shoulders of two generations of police chiefs. Regardless of Jimmy's relationships with the police departnt or with Jas, Reina had to be taken down, and he had to be the one to do it, in order to face Jas when reporting Reina's fate.

Seeing Jimmy's clenched hands, Ruiz quickly added, "Don't get worked up. We've only located him; there's no evidence yet to prove he was the one who provided the video."

Jimmy relaxed his hands slightly, "Okay, I'm not agitated. Have you guys kept up with Reina? Where is he staying?"

Ruiz shook his head, "He doesn't have a fixed address right now. We've located three places he's frequented, but none where he stays long-term. I suspect he's got so business to handle recently. I don't believe he has been without a permanent residence for the past few months; there must be a reason for his frequent movents."

Jimmy nodded, "Ruiz, trouble the surveillance team a bit more. Have them keep a close watch on Reina. We can't let him run off again. We've yet to settle the score with him for abducting our surveillance personnel."

Ruiz nodded, "There's no need for you to ntion it, I'd do it anyway. Now that your case is closed, I just wanted to inform you. If there's any change in the situation, I will notify you. Just focus on getting your closure report done properly, leave a good impression on the higher-ups, there will be sothing in it for you."

Ruiz picked up the Coke and stood up, "Well, that was all I ca for, I'm heading back now."

Jimmy got up to see Ruiz out, then gulped down his Coke. He had thought he'd be bored for a while after the case concluded, but the lead from the video had unexpectedly turned up such an interesting character—the coming days wouldn't be lonely.

Suddenly rembering, Jimmy had been preoccupied with his report since leaving the conference room and hadn't t with Gordon and the others yet. He didn't know what they had planned to do next. He threw the empty can into the trash bin, left the office, and headed to their conference room.

Gordon and the others were already packing up. Seeing Jimmy walk in, Gordon greeted him with a smile, "Jimmy, what brings you here? Shouldn't you be receiving their congratulations right now?"

Jimmy responded with a laugh, "The case isn't over yet. There's still a long process ahead, your congratulations are premature. What about you guys? What are you going to do next?"

Pointing to Scott and the others, Gordon said, "We're just cleaning up a bit, and we'll leave shortly. Tomorrow we head back to DC Headquarters. Don't worry, I'll put in a good word for you. Your comndation is definitely on its way."

Jimmy chuckled, "A comndation is the least of my worries. Being able to properly rest after the case wraps up is good enough. Since you are going back, then I wish you a safe journey."

Gordon: "Rember to co to DC and see us when you have the ti."

Jimmy nodded, "No problem, goodbye Gordon." He shook hands with the others to say farewell and then left the conference room. Everyone returned to their own lives. Despite the DC team taking over the case, Gordon and the others couldn't erase Jimmy's contributions, and the Manhattan office wouldn't allow for it. It wasn't for Jimmy specifically but for the reputation of the Manhattan office.

Since Gordon ntioned there would be a comndation, it seed Jimmy really could look forward to it this ti. Receiving a comndation within his first year of service was extrely rare among bureau agents.

Jimmy returned to his office to continue working on his report. Since it wasn't a quick task, he kept his normal work schedule. When he got ho, he cooked for himself, and to celebrate, he opened a bottle of wine, rewarding himself.
